The contents and degree of abundance and defficiency of available Fe,Mn,Cu,Zn and B in the paddy soils derived from several main parent materials were studied through investigating and sampling,indoor analyzing and evaluating methods in Hunan province.The results showed the contents of the soil available Fe and Mn were very great,belonged to degree of very abundance,while that of the available Cu,Zn and B terribly low,in degree of insufficiency.It was essential that the fertilizer of Cu,Zn and B was applied in order to ensure the rice growth in paddy soil of Hunan province.
