Abstract: The effects of 2 Bacillus subtilis strains,Q4 and Q10 inhibiting the growth of E. coli and Salmonella.Regarded E.coli and Salmonella as indicators, investigated by the co-incubation, pre-incubation and post-incubation method. The results revealed that 2 Bacillus subtilis strains showed different ability to inhibit the growth of E. coli and Salmonella after incubating with Q4 and Q10, respectively.Having inoculated Bacillus subtilis and then co-incubation pathogens inhibition were most obvious in means of the strongest inhibitory effect at 24 h,at the same time,pre-incubation Bacillus subtilis and then co-incubation pathogen the inhibition was the weakest of all,the pathogens and Bacillus subtilis co-incubation were the second. From the former consequences that 2 Bacillus subtilis strains of Q4 and Q10 had inhibitory effect on the pathogen, but there were differences in inhibition, and related to the duration of Bacillus subtilis and pathogen inoculation.
