In this study, the content changes of anthocyanins levels, antioxidant activities as well as related genes in their biosynthesis pathways of two seasons black sweet corn kernels were determined. Generally, three anthocyanins contents showed similar trend with peak at 10 days after pollination (DAP) in both seasons existing as free forms, and they gradually grew afterwards as kernel matured. Pelargonidin as the leading component was decreased significantly in autumn comparing to contents in summer which may be affected by lower photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) and distinct gene expression levels. CF1, F3H and LAD as the essential genes in flavonoid and anthocyanin biosynthesis had high expression levels indicating higher production of flavonoid and anthocyanin. Black sweet corn (BSC) exhibited good in vitro and cellular antioxidant abilities compared to many fruits and vegetables indicating that BSC could be developed as a substitute food with high anthocyanin profiles and antioxidant capacity.  相似文献

Field studies were carried out from 2002 to 2004 in an olive grove near Cairo, Egypt, to evaluate the efficacy of the mating disruption to control the olive pest Palpita unionalis, during the 1st (May–June) or the 1st and the 2nd (September–November) distinct flight periods. The binary blend of the two pheromone components, E-11-hexadecenyl acetate and E-11-hexadecenal, at the ratio of 70:30 in hexane was dispensed from polyethylene (PE) vials or absorbed into montmorillonite and dispensed from PE bags at a dose of 80 g active ingredients per hectare. Efficacy was measured considering suppression of pheromone trap catches, reduction of the moth population and fruit damage during harvest in the pheromone treated compared to the control (CO) plots. Male captures in treated plots were reduced by 91.3% (2002), 91.8% (2003) and 80.6% (2004) during trapping periods of 8, 21 and 20 weeks, respectively. The number of eggs recorded and fruit damage were lower in the pheromone treated than in CO plot. The fruit infestation accounted to 13.6±2.7% vs. 37.8±3.9% in 2003, a low fruiting year and 9.7±0.75 vs. 34.8±2.8% in 2004, a high fruiting year in treated and CO plots, respectively. Capillary GC analysis indicated that the release rate of E-11-hexadecenyl acetate was effective for the testing period; whereas the release and degradation of E-11-hexadecenyl were high, the inclusion of a photostabilizer into the pheromone-clay complex during 2004 improved substantially the release rate and photooxidation of the aldehyde.  相似文献

The genus Pogostemon of the Lamiaceae family includes several species known for their medicinal and aromatic properties. The species P. cablin is especially notable because the essential oil extracted from its leaves is internationally important and valuable, principally for the perfume and cosmetic industries. Because multiple factors can affect the chemical composition of the essential oil, the aim of this work was to evaluate the chemical variations in the essential oils of nine Pogostemon accessions harvested over four seasons. Two Pogostemon accessions (P. heyneanus, but received as P. cablin) and seven P. cablin accessions from different sources were evaluated. The transplants were planted in January 2008, and the harvests were conducted in May, August, and November 2008 and February 2009. The chemical composition of the essential oils was evaluated quantitatively and qualitatively. Patchoulol was the major compound from the four harvests of all of the P. cablin accessions. The principal compound from the accessions POG-001 and POG-006 was β-pinene. Two clusters were detected by multivariate analyses of the four harvests. Cluster I was formed by the accessions POG-001 and POG-006 (P. heyneanus), and Cluster II was formed by the accessions of P. cablin (POG-002, POG-014, POG-015, POG-016, POG-019, POG-021, and POG-022).  相似文献

研究林下山参不同季节人参皂苷的动态累积及规律。用高效液相的方法对不同季节林下参的人参皂苷含量进行测定,并对人参根的各个部位的长度,重量进行测定。运用SPSS统计软件对林下参实验结果进行统计分析。林下参9月份的总皂苷的含量较高,并且人参皂苷-Rg1、-Rb1的含量高于其它采收时间。林下参中人参皂苷含量具有特征是:9月份含量达到峰值,10月份含量稳定或是略有减少。辽东地区林下山参的最佳采收期为9月份。  相似文献
