Continuing our search for natural product and natural product-based compounds for the control of off-flavor in catfish, 29 stilbene analogues were synthesized and evaluated for algicidal activity against the 2-methylisoborneol (MIB)-producing cyanobacterium Oscillatoria perornata. The cis and trans isomers of 4-(3,5-dimethoxystyryl)aniline showed moderate and selective algicidal activity toward O. perornata with the lowest observed inhibitory concentration and lowest complete inhibition concentrations of 10 muM. This is the first report on selective stilbene algicidal activity toward a MIB-producing cyanobacteria species.  相似文献

The chemical composition of the essential oil of kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus) was examined by GC-MS. Fifty-eight components were characterized from H. cannabinus with (E)-phytol (28.16%), (Z)-phytol (8.02%), n-nonanal (5.70%), benzene acetaldehyde (4.39%), (E)-2-hexenal (3.10%), and 5-methylfurfural (3.00%) as the major constituents. The oil was phytotoxic to lettuce and bentgrass and had antifungal activity against Colletotrichum fragariae, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, and Colletotrichum accutatum but exhibited little or no algicidal activity.  相似文献

Bioassays with UV-irradiated surface waters from two humic localities revealed a consistent pattern with phytoplankton production being stimulated at moderate doses (1.1.–5.4 J cm?2, 312 nm), but with a transition to severe growth inhibition at increasing doses (>10 J cm?2). Phytoplankton (Selenastrum capricornutum) was inoculated after the irradiation treatment, and the observed growth response gave support to the hypothesis of long-lasting algicidal effects induced by UV-radiation. High UV-doses apparently also liberated nutrients and metals (Al) complexed by humus. Since the applied UV312-doses corresponded to mid-summer solar intensity, the results suggest both chemical and ecological implications, and that these effects have a non-linear response on UV-dose. Conversely no effects were detected on dark respiration or during corresponding bioassays with the crustacean zooplankton Daphnia magna.  相似文献

Copper sulfate (CuSO4) addition to freshwater for phytoplankton control has been practiced for decades, and remains the most effective algicidal treatment for numerous managed water bodies. A reservoir in the centre of France was the site for an investigation of copper distribution in aquatic systems after a copper sulfate treatment. Results of monitoring showed a rapid conversion of dissolved Cu to particulate forms, with significant accumulation in the sediments. Total sediment Cu content increased from approximately 37.7 to 45.4 μg g-1 dry weight after the first treatment. Sequential extraction suggested that a significant portion of the sediment-borne Cu was associated with the organic fraction which may release Cu to the water column, although significant release would occur only under extreme changes in water chemistry. Based upon measured Cu concentrations, flows at the down-stream water, and known mass applied during treatment, mass balance calculations indicated that approximately 17% of the Cu was exported from the reservoir over a 70 day period following a 196 μg L-1 Cu2+ (as CuSO4·5H2O) treatment.Copper bioaccumulation by a moss, Fontinalis antipyretica in the down-stream water showed that it was possible to distinguish between a treated and an untreated area. The impact of copper treatmentin the down-stream reservoir could be followed using mosses. There is a distance effect which could be exploited to determine potential copper impact for example. The largest amount of copper was probably adsorbed on downstream sediment or lost in running water. Thirty days after copper sulfate addition, Fontinalis still indicatedcopper exposure.  相似文献

Plant essential oils from 29 plant species were tested for their insecticidal activities against the Japanese termite, Reticulitermes speratus Kolbe, using a fumigation bioassay. Responses varied with plant material, exposure time, and concentration. Good insecticidal activity against the Japanese termite was achived with essential oils of Melaleuca dissitiflora, Melaleuca uncinata, Eucalyptus citriodora, Eucalyptus polybractea, Eucalyptus radiata, Eucalyptus dives, Eucalyptus globulus, Orixa japonica, Cinnamomum cassia, Allium cepa, Illicium verum, Evodia officinalis, Schizonepeta tenuifolia, Cacalia roborowskii, Juniperus chinensis var. horizontalis, Juniperus chinensis var. kaizuka, clove bud, and garlic applied at 7.6 microL/L of air. Over 90% mortality after 3 days was achieved with O. japonica essential oil at 3.5 microL/L of air. E. citriodora, C. cassia, A. cepa, I. verum, S. tenuifolia, C. roborowskii, clove bud, and garlic oils at 3.5 microL/L of air were highly toxic 1 day after treatment. At 2.0 microL/L of air concentration, essential oils of I. verum, C. roborowskik, S. tenuifolia, A. cepa, clove bud, and garlic gave 100% mortality within 2 days of treatment. Clove bud and garlic oils showed the most potent antitermitic activity among the plant essential oils. Garlic and clove bud oils produced 100% mortality at 0.5 microL/L of air, but this decreased to 42 and 67% after 3 days of treatment at 0.25 microL/L of air, respectively. Analysis by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry led to the identification of three major compounds from garlic oil and two from clove bud oils. These five compounds from two essential oils were tested individually for their insecticidal activities against Japanese termites. Responses varied with compound and dose. Diallyl trisulfide was the most toxic, followed by diallyl disulfide, eugenol, diallyl sulfide, and beta-caryophyllene. The essential oils described herein merit further study as potential fumigants for termite control.  相似文献

根据1984~1989年的定位观测,广西岑溪县七坪林场常绿阔叶林的凋落物量平均为8.062t/ha·a,N,P,K,Ca,Mg,S,Mn,Cu,Zn 9种营养元素的归还量平均为209.47kg/ha·a,分别比杉木林的高1.82倍和2.08倍。常绿阔叶林凋落物各组分的平均分解速率(g/g·a)为:叶1.0842,枝0.6502,果0.8871;而杉木林的分别为0.6084,0.3795和0.5255。表明常绿阔叶林在提高林地土壤肥力方面大于杉木林。  相似文献

The free amino acid profile of 18 samples of tronchuda cabbage ( Brassica oleracea L. var. costata DC) leaves, harvested at three different months, was determined by HPLC/UV-vis. The tronchuda cabbage leaves total free amino acid content varied from 3.3 to 14.4 g/kg fresh weight. Generally, arginine was the major compound, followed by proline, threonine, glutamine, cysteine, and glutamic acid. This study indicates that free amino acids are not similarly distributed: in external leaves, proline and arginine were the major free amino acids, while in internal ones, arginine was the main free amino acid, followed by threonine, glutamine, and cysteine. Significant differences were observed for valine, proline, arginine, leucine, cysteine, lysine, histidine, and tyrosine contents. The levels of some free amino acids were significantly affected by the collection period. In external leaves, this occurred with glutamic acid, serine, valine, leucine, cysteine, and ornithine contents, while in internal leaves, it occurred with aspartic acid, arginine, and total contents.  相似文献

The concentration of 27 elements was investigated in 10 samples of precipitation from Göttingen, collected during May and September 1972. Göttingen is a non-industrial town of 130000 inhabitants, situated in a rural area, and essentially all the dissolved and undissolved material in rainwater is locally derived. Elemental concentrations in freshwater and shale are used for comparison with the dissolved elements in precipitation and the undissolved residue. The two phases have been separated after evaporation (concentration factors: 15 to 25-times). Phosphorous, Zn, Mn, and Pb are enriched in rainwater, while Si, Mg, Na, Ca, Cl, Fe, Hg, K, Li, and Al are depleted relative to average freshwater. Sulfate, Cd, and Cu have similar concentrations in rain and freshwater. The factors of accumulation between elements in residue and average shale are calculated after normalization to the Al-value. They are: ? 100 for Ag, Hg, Pb; between 10 and 20 for Zn, Cd, P, Cu, Mo; > 2 for Cr, Bi, Ni, Ba, Ti, V ; between 0.9 and 2.0 for Rb, K, Na, Li, Mg, Mn, Fe, Si, Ca; and 0.5 for Tl. The trace element accumulation is due to different anthropogenic sources: combustion of liquid petroleum fuels contributes to Ph, V, Ni, Mo, Hg, and sulfate, combustion of coal to Ba, sulfate, and chloride, and to the. readily volatile elements such as Hg, Cd, Tl, Bi, and Ag, combustion of refuse to Ag, Bi, Pb, Cd, Hg, Zn, Cr, Cu, Ba, and Mo in highly variable amounts. Fertilizers and road salts change the chemistry of soils and indirectly supply P, alkali and alkaline-earth metals to the fly dust. Modest industrial activity is responsible for high Cu and Cr concentrations. Despite the appreciable accumulation of some toxic elements, the precipitation in Göttingen is relatively pure compared to other areas. Favorable geologic conditions around Göttingen decrease the negative influences of potentially harmful airborne elements. The high carbonate content in the dust neutralizes the anthropogenic acids in the rainwater. Furthermore, the toxic trace elements are diluted, especially in the center of Göttingen, by a large amount of airborne dust.  相似文献

以2018年6—10月降雨条件下园地、林地、荒草地、坡耕地和裸地的标准径流小区为研究对象,裸地为对照,通过研究降雨对园地、林地、荒草地、坡耕地和裸地的土壤含水率、总氮、硝态氮和铵态氮含量与土层深度和时间的变化特征,经野外试验数据统计分析,提出降雨对园地、林地、荒草地、坡耕地和裸地土壤含水率、总氮、硝态氮和铵态氮含量与土层深度和时间变化特征的影响。结果表明:降雨增加园地、林地、荒草地、坡耕地和裸地土壤含水率,加速土壤总氮、硝态氮和铵态氮水解转化硝化和反硝化速度,影响土壤含水率、总氮、硝态氮和铵态氮含量,降雨与土壤含水率、总氮、硝态氮、铵态氮呈显著相关性(P0.05)。降雨条件下园地、林地、荒草地、坡耕地和裸地的土壤含水率随土层深度增大而增大,土层深度100 cm处土壤含水率最大,分别为30.34%,27.67%,24.98%,24.03%和21.95%,总氮随土层深度增大呈先增大后减小,在土层深度为60 cm土壤总氮含量最大,分别为1.02,0.99,0.90,0.86,0.75 g/kg,硝态氮和铵态氮含量随土层深度增大而减小,在土层深度为100 cm硝态氮和铵态氮含量均最小,其中硝态氮含量分别为9.01,7.89,7.25,6.10,5.22 mg/kg,铵态氮含量分别为9.41,9.14,6.40,5.38,4.37 mg/kg。土壤含水率随时间的延长先减小后增大又减小,呈正余弦变化趋势,8月土壤含水率最大,分别为22.97%,22.01%,19.87%,19.03%和17.98%,总氮随时间的延长先增大后减小,8月总氮最大,分别为1.09,1.01,0.94,0.84,0.76 g/kg,硝态氮和铵态氮含量随时间的延长而逐渐减少,6月硝态氮和铵态氮含量均最大,其中硝态氮含量分别为13.40,12.37,11.20,10.39,8.67 mg/kg,铵态氮含量分别为18.89,17.02,14.54,12.02,8.36 mg/kg。不同土地利用类型土壤含水率、总氮、硝态氮和铵态氮平均值与土层深度和时间关系由大到小依次为园地、林地、荒草地、坡耕地和裸地,研究结果为农田土壤水肥流失控制和养分利用提供理论技术支持。  相似文献

The metabolomic analysis of 11 Ilex species, I. argentina, I. brasiliensis, I. brevicuspis, I. dumosavar. dumosa, I. dumosa var. guaranina, I. integerrima, I. microdonta, I. paraguariensis var. paraguariensis, I. pseudobuxus, I. taubertiana, and I. theezans, was carried out by NMR spectroscopy and multivariate data analysis. The analysis using principal component analysis and classification of the (1)H NMR spectra showed a clear discrimination of those samples based on the metabolites present in the organic and aqueous fractions. The major metabolites that contribute to the discrimination are arbutin, caffeine, phenylpropanoids, and theobromine. Among those metabolites, arbutin, which has not been reported yet as a constituent of Ilex species, was found to be a biomarker for I. argentina,I. brasiliensis, I. brevicuspis, I. integerrima, I. microdonta, I. pseudobuxus, I. taubertiana, and I. theezans. This reliable method based on the determination of a large number of metabolites makes the chemotaxonomical analysis of Ilex species possible.  相似文献

Nineteen elements, Mg, Al, Ca, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Se, Sr, Sb, Ba, As, Cd, Hg, and Pb, were determined in three types of popular herbal tea products, Gynostemma pentaphyllum, Camellia sinensis, and Morus alba. These herbal tea products, both imported and locally made products, are widely consumed in Thailand and worldwide. Microwave-assisted acid digestion was used for all of the samples, and the element contents were determined by ICP-MS. The concentrations of all elements varied among these herbal teas. Ca and Mg were the most abundant elements in all herbal samples (1384-34070 and 783-7739 mg/kg, respectively). Most elements in these herbal tea powders were also released into the infusions at different percentages depending on types of herbs. G. pentaphyllum infusion contained essential elements (Mg, Ca, V, and Fe) at higher levels than C. sinensis and M.alba infusions. Al and Ni were present at high levels in C. sinensis infusion, and Cd level was high in M. alba infusion. The daily intake of all elements from these herbal tea infusions (three cups/day) is still within the average daily intake. Therefore, it may not produce any health risks for human consumption, if other sources of toxic metal contaminated food are not taken at the same time.  相似文献

The headspace volatile components of roots, stems, leaves, and flowers of Echinacea angustifolia,E. pallida, and E. purpurea were analyzed by capillary gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Over 70 compounds were identified in the samples. All plant tissues, irrespective of the species, contain acetaldehyde, dimethyl sulfide, camphene, hexanal, beta-pinene, and limonene. The main headspace constituents of the aerial parts of the plant are beta-myrcene, alpha-pinene, limonene, camphene, beta-pinene, trans-ocimene, 3-hexen-1-ol, and 2-methyl-4-pentenal. The major headspace components of root tissue are alpha-phellandrene (present only in the roots of E. purpurea and E.angustifolia), dimethyl sulfide, 2-methylbutanal, 3-methylbutanal, 2-methylpropanal, acetaldehyde, camphene, 2-propanal, and limonene. Aldehydes, particularly butanals and propanals, make up 41-57% of the headspace of root tissue, 19-29% of the headspace of the leaf tissue, and only 6-14% of the headspace of flower and stem tissues. Terpenoids including alpha- and beta-pinene, beta-myrcene, ocimene, limonene, camphene, and terpinene make up 81-91% of the headspace of flowers and stems, 46-58% of the headspace of the leaf tissue, and only 6-21% of the roots. Of the 70 compounds identified, >50 are reported in Echinacea for the first time.  相似文献

The fungicidal activities of Cassia tora extracts and their active principles were determined against Botrytis cineria, Erysiphe graminis, Phytophthora infestans, Puccinia recondita, Pyricularia grisea, and Rhizoctonia solani using a whole plant method in vivo and were compared with synthetic fungicides and three commercially available anthraquinones. The responses varied with the plant pathogen tested. At 1 g/L, the chloroform fraction of C. tora showed a strong fungicidal activity against B. cinerea, E. graminis, P. infestans, and R. solani. Emodin, physcion, and rhein were isolated from the chloroform fraction using chromatographic techniques and showed strong and moderate fungicidal activities against B. cinerea, E. graminis, P. infestans, and R. solani. Furthermore, aloe-emodin showed strong and moderate fungicidal activities against B. cinerea and R. solani, respectively, but did not inhibit the growth of E. graminis, P. infestans, P. recondita, and Py. grisea. Little or no activity was observed for anthraquinone and anthraquinone-2-carboxylic acid when tested at 1 g/L. Chlorothalonil and dichlofluanid as synthetic fungicides were active against P. infestans and B. cinerea at 0.05 g/L, respectively. Our results demonstrate the fungicidal actions of emodin, physcion, and rhein from C. tora.  相似文献

为了解重庆市不同地貌甘薯种植区土壤肥力差异,对2007~2010年重庆市甘薯"3414"试验结果进行分析,并根据测土配方施肥技术规范建立各地貌甘薯种植区土壤养分丰缺指标,利用肥料效应函数法确定各地貌甘薯种植区推荐施肥量。结果表明,山地甘薯种植区土壤肥力高于丘陵甘薯种植区,将丘陵甘薯种植区土壤碱解氮分为5个等级(62、62~83、83~112、112~152、152 mg/kg),对应的氮肥推荐施用量为137.4、109.35~137.4、81.3~109.35、53.1~81.3、53.1 kg/hm~2,将土壤有效磷分为3个等级(6.3、6.3~16.7、16.7 mg/kg),对应的磷肥推荐施用量为64.2、50.25~64.2、50.25 kg/hm~2,将土壤速效钾分为4个等级(49、49~73、73~110、110 mg/kg),对应的钾肥推荐施用量为128.1、99~128.1、70.05~99、70.05kg/hm~2;将山地甘薯种植区土壤碱解氮分为4个等级(55、55~82、82~122、122 mg/kg),对应的氮肥推荐施用量为162.15、123.75~162.15、85.2~123.75、85.2 kg/hm~2,将土壤有效磷分为4个等级(3.4、3.4~9.3、9.3~25.9、25.9 mg/kg),对应的磷肥推荐施用量为87.75、73.95~87.75、60.3~73.95、60.3 kg/hm~2,将土壤速效钾分为5个等级(53、53~77、77~114、114~169、169 mg/kg),对应的钾肥推荐施用量为151.5、126.3~151.5、101.1~126.3、75.9~101.1、75.9 kg/hm~2。  相似文献

The dry weight accumulation per male and female flower as well as the concentration per gram of dry weight and the accumulation of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), and copper (Cu) were determined in walnut tree (Juglans regia L.) catkins and female flowers at the stage of flower bud and during the flower development. Catkin emergence was accompanied by a very fast hydration of the tissues. After the catkin matured, the fresh and dry weights were reduced. The female flower development period was accompanied by the dry and fresh weight increase. Total N, P, K, Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn concentrations in catkin buds were detected at lower levels, Mg in equal levels, and Ca at higher levels as compared to the nutrient concentrations in young growing leaves. The estimated values of the ratio NCmfb/NCygl were: total N = 0.54, P = 0.83, K = 0.56, Ca = 1.5, Mg = 1.0, Fe = 0.46, Mn = 0.71, Cu = 0.85, and Zn = 0.60. Nutrient concentration in female flower buds was detected in almost equal levels with the exception of total N and Fe. The estimated values of the ratio: NCffb/NCygl were: total N = 0.57, P = 1.1, K = 1.17, Ca = 1.06, Mg = 0.9, Fe = 0.47, Mn = 1.0, Cu = 0.92, and Zn = 0.85. Total N, P, Mn, Cu, and Zn accumulations in the catkin were increased during the fast growing phase and decreased after catkin maturing. Potassium, Mg, and Fe accumulation continued to increase in the mature catkin. Calcium accumulation decreased at a very late mature catkin phase. Total N, P, and K accumulation rates during the catkin fast growing phase were higher than the dry weight accumulation rate. Calcium, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, and Zn accumulation rates at the same period were lower or equal to dry weight accumulation rates. In mature catkins, the total N, P, Mn, Cu, and Zn depletion rates were higher than the dry weight depletion rate. The continual increase of K, Ca, Mg, and Fe accumulation in mature catkin resulted in the increase of nutrients concentration also. Total N and P showed the highest remobilization values from mature catkin of 51.4% and 45%, respectively. Calcium, K, Mg, Cu, Mn, and Zn remobilization values estimated to be 22.1%, 7.5%, 3.2%, 45.3%, 33.4%, and 31.8%, respectively. Iron showed no remobilization at all. Nutrients remobilization from catkins as compared to the leaves had almost similar values for total N, Zn, and Cu, higher for P, Ca, and Mn, and lower for Mg, Fe, and K. Accumulation of all nutrients in female flowers increased after fertilization. The dry weight accumulation rate was higher than the nutrient accumulation rates.  相似文献

Fungicidal activity of Curcuma longa rhizome-derived materials against Botrytis cineria, Erysiphe graminis, Phytophthora infestans, Puccinia recondita, Pyricularia oryzae, and Rhizoctonia solani was tested using a whole plant method in vivo. It was compared with synthetic fungicides and four commercially available compounds derived from C. longa. The response varied with the tested plant pathogen. At 1000 mg/L, the hexane extract of C. longa showed fungicidal activities against E.graminis, P. infestans, and R. solani, and the ethyl acetate extract of C. longa showed fungicidal activities against B. cineria, P. infestans, Pu. recondita, and R. solani. Curcumin was isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction using chromatographic techniques and showed fungicidal activities against P. infestans, Pu. recondita, and R. solani with 100, 100, and 63% control values at 500 mg/L and 85, 76, and 45% control values at 250 mg/L, respectively. In the test with components derived from C. longa, turmerone exhibited weak activity against E. graminis, but no activity was observed from treatments with borneol, 1,8-cineole, sabinene, and turmerone. In comparison, potent fungicidal activity with chlorothalonil against P. infestans at 50 mg/L and dichlofluanid against B. cinerea at 50 mg/L was exhibited. These results may be an indication of at least one of the fungicidal actions of curcumin derived from C. longa.  相似文献

为监测堆肥过程挥发性有机物(volatile organic compounds,VOCs)排放情况,该文开展了猪粪堆肥现场试验,采用苏玛罐采样,气相色谱-质谱法分析了猪粪好氧堆肥过程中VOCs浓度。结果表明:猪粪好氧堆肥过程中可以检测出的VOCs有81种,包括烷烃类34种,芳香烃类21种,卤烃类19种,胺类1种,含硫化合物3种,氟利昂类3种;其中检出率高且浓度远远超过其嗅阈值的VOCs包括三甲胺、二甲基硫、二甲基二硫和二甲基三硫,VOCs排放主要发生在堆肥的前2周。该研究将为控制猪粪堆肥过程中VOCs气体排放提供科学数据支持。  相似文献
