选择28日龄断奶二元杂交(长白×大约克)仔猪48头,断奶体重(7.4±0.6)kg,平均分为4个组,每组3个重复,每重复4头(公、母各半),研究日粮中添加五味子(SC)、柠檬酸(CA)对断奶仔猪血清生化指标以及免疫功能的影响。试验组分别添加1%CA、0.5%SC、1%CA+0.5%SC,对照组为玉米-豆粕型基础日粮。结果表明:与对照组相比,CA+SC组血清尿素氮(BUN)水平和谷丙转氨酶(ALT)活性显著降低(P<0.05),SC组血清BUN水平和碱性磷酸酶(ALP)活性显著降低(P<0.05),ALT活性极显著降低(P<0.01)。CA+SC组T3水平显著提高(P<0.05)。与对照组相比,SC组血清中猪瘟抗体效价、IgG和IgA水平显著提高(P<0.05)。SC组、CA+SC组血清白细胞介素-2(IL-2)水平显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。  相似文献

本试验旨在研究饲粮添加一水肌酸(CMH)及其组合添加物对生长育肥猪胴体组成、肉质性状及代谢分子指标的影响,为进一步完善CMH在肉质营养调控中的应用提供参考。选择60~70 kg体重"杜×大×长"阉公猪100头,随机分为5组(每组20个重复,每个重复1头猪),分别饲喂基础饲粮(对照组)、CMH饲粮(在基础饲粮中添加0.5 g/kg的CMH)、CMH+α-硫辛酸(ALA)饲粮(在基础饲粮中添加0.5 g/kg的CMH和0.1 g/kg的ALA)、CMH+牛磺酸(Tau)饲粮(在基础饲粮中添加0.5 g/kg的CMH和0.1 g/kg的Tau)和CMH+L-苹果酸(LMA)饲粮(在基础饲粮中添加0.5 g/kg的CMH和0.5 g/kg的LMA),饲养50 d后统一屠宰,采集样品并测定指标。结果表明:与对照组相比,饲粮添加CMH及其不同组合添加物均显著降低生长育肥猪背膘厚度(P0.05),有提高背最长肌水分和降低脂肪含量的趋势(P0.05); CMH+ALA饲粮和CMH+LMA饲粮显著增加生长育肥猪眼肌面积(P0.05); CMH饲粮和CMH+ALA饲粮显著降低生长育肥猪背最长肌滴水损失和压榨损失(P0.05); CMH饲粮和CMH+Tau饲粮显著提高生长育肥猪背最长肌肉色亮度和黄度值以及蒸煮损失(P0.05),显著降低肉色红度值(P0.05); CM H饲粮、CM H+ALA饲粮和CM H+Tau饲粮显著提高生长育肥猪背最长肌琥珀酸脱氢酶和肌酸激酶活性、总抗氧化能力和肌酸储备量(P0.05),显著降低背最长肌乳酸含量(P0.05),并以CM H+ALA饲粮改变程度最大; CM H饲粮和CM H+ALA饲粮显著提高生长育肥猪背最长肌肌酸转运蛋白基因相对表达水平(P0.05),后者改变大于前者且显著提高背最长肌肌红蛋白和肌球蛋白重链Ⅱa基因相对表达水平(P0.05)。综合上述结果可知,饲粮添加CMH、CM H+ALA或Tau或LM A均能够降低生长育肥猪背膘厚度,其中CM H+ALA组合添加综合表现出更好的胴体和肉质改善作用,比单独添加CMH进一步提高了肌酸转运储备、氧化代谢能力、肌红蛋白表达和氧化型肌纤维比例等。  相似文献

试验选用48头健康的、平均体重(60.8±1.4)kg的二元杂交猪(大白×长白)随机分为2组,每组设6个重复,每重复4头。研究日粮中添加五味子提取物(Schisandra chinensis extract,SCE)对肥育猪抗氧化功能及肉质的影响。对照组饲喂玉米-豆粕型基础日粮,试验组日粮为基础日粮中添加0.125%五味子提取物。试验结果表明:①日粮中添加0.125%SCE显著提高肥育猪血清及组织中SOD、GR活性,降低血清及组织中MDA含量(P<0.05);②SCE可显著降低背最长肌在4℃贮存12、24和48 h脂质过氧化物含量(P<0.05);③SCE可显著降低肥育猪背最长肌的滴水损失和提高肌肉中总色素含量(P<0.05)。由本试验结果可见,SCE能通过提高肥育猪机体抗氧化功能,提高其脂质稳定性,从而改善部分猪肉品质。  相似文献

本研究旨在评估肥育猪日粮中添加柠檬酸对其生长性能和抗氧化功能的影响。试验将144头体重和健康度接近的杜长大肥育猪随机分为3组,分别为对照组、试验1组和试验2组,每组8个重复,每个重复6头猪。对照组饲喂常规日粮,试验1组和试验2组分别在常规日粮中添加0.02%和0.01%柠檬酸,试验为期90?d。结果表明,肥育猪日粮中添加0.02%柠檬酸能显著提高日增重(ADG)和饲料报酬(F/G)(P<0.05),显著提高血清、十二指肠、空肠、回肠黏膜和背最长肌的总抗氧化能力(T-AOC)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px)含量(P<0.05),显著提高血清、回肠黏膜和背最长肌的过氧化氢酶(CAT),显著降低十二指肠、空肠、回肠黏膜的丙二醛(MDA)含量(P<0.05)|添加0.01%柠檬酸能显著提高空肠黏膜的T-AOC、SOD含量(P<0.05),显著降低回肠黏膜的MDA含量(P<0.05)。结论:肥育猪日粮中添加柠檬酸能提高肥育猪生长性能和抗氧化功能。 [关键词]柠檬酸|肥育猪|生长性能|抗氧化功能  相似文献

试验研究了中草药女贞子、五味子以及女贞子、五味子与葡萄糖甘露寡糖(MOS)配伍对肉鸡抗氧化指标的影响。选择180只1日龄肉鸡公雏随机分为6组,对照组饲喂基础饲粮,抗生素组在基础饲粮中添加5mg/kg黄霉素,试验组分别在基础饲粮中添加1%女贞子、1%五味子、1%女贞子+0.5%MOS、1%五味子+0.5%MOS。试验从1日龄开始,试验期56d。结果显示:女贞子、五味子可提高肉鸡心脏超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性(P<0.05),以及血清和组织谷胱甘肽还原酶(GR)活性(P<0.05),降低血清和心脏丙二醛(MDA)含量(P<0.05)。上述试验结果表明中草药添加剂能够提高肉鸡抗氧化功能。  相似文献

本试验旨在探讨饲粮添加亮氨酸和谷氨酸对肥育猪生长性能、胴体性状和肉品质的影响。试验选取体重为77 kg左右的"杜×长×大"肥育猪60头,随机分为5个组,每组12头猪,公母各占1/2。对照组饲喂基础饲粮,试验组分别在基础饲粮中添加2.05%L-丙氨酸(等氮对照组)、1.00%亮氨酸+1.37%L-丙氨酸(亮氨酸组)、1.00%谷氨酸+1.44%L-丙氨酸(谷氨酸组)、1.00%亮氨酸+1.00%谷氨酸(亮氨酸+谷氨酸组)。试验期为60 d。结果表明:与对照组相比,谷氨酸组1~30 d的平均日采食量、末重和背膘厚均显著降低(P0.05),31~60 d的平均日增重降低了22.50%(P0.05);亮氨酸组、亮氨酸+谷氨酸组背最长肌和股二头肌中的肌内脂肪含量显著增加(P0.05),且亮氨酸+谷氨酸组1~30 d的平均日增重增加了8.04%(P0.05),31~60 d的平均日增重则降低23.70%(P0.05)。与等氮对照组相比,亮氨酸组和谷氨酸组的熟肉率、滴水损失和肉色均无显著差异(P0.05),亮氨酸+谷氨酸组肌肉黄度值显著降低(P0.05);各试验组背最长肌和股二头肌中风味氨基酸含量均无显著差异(P0.05)。上述结果提示,饲粮添加1.00%亮氨酸可降低1~30 d肥育猪的料重比,增加背最长肌肌内脂肪含量;饲粮添加1.00%谷氨酸或1.00%亮氨酸+1.00%谷氨酸可增加1~30 d的平均日增重,降低31~60 d的平均日增重;饲粮添加1.00%亮氨酸+1.00%谷氨酸可降低肉色黄度值,增加肌内脂肪含量,从而改善猪肉品质。  相似文献

亮氨酸有利于赖氨酸的吸收,但是没有报道表明粗蛋白质、赖氨酸和亮氨酸水平对于猪阳离子氨基酸转运体表达的影响.因此,本试验选用20头猪(初始体重为14.9 kg±0.62 kg)用于评价两种蛋白质水平及低蛋白质日粮中赖氨酸、苏氨酸、蛋氨酸及亮氨酸含量不同对于空肠中b0+和CAT-1 mRNA表达、背最长肌和半腱肌的影响.处理组如下:①小麦-豆粕日粮,20%粗蛋白质(对照组);②小麦日粮,其中缺乏赖氨酸、苏氨酸和蛋氨酸(基础日粮);③基础日粮中添加70%L-赖氨酸、0.27%L-苏氨酸、0.1% DL-蛋氨酸(LTM日粮);④LTM日粮添加0.8%L-苏氨酸(LTM日粮+苏氨酸).除了基础日粮,其余日粮中的赖氨酸、苏氨酸和蛋氨酸含量均满足营养需要.LTM日粮+苏氨酸日粮提供超过60%的亮氨酸.LTM日粮中添加赖氨酸、苏氨酸和蛋氨酸提高了空肠中b0+及背最长肌和半腱肌中CAT-1的<表达,同时降低了空肠中CAT-1的表达;且血清中赖氨酸浓度增加(P<0.01).继续添加L-亮氨酸(LTM日粮+亮氨酸)降低了空肠中b0+及背最长肌CAT-1的表达量,提高了血清中亮氨酸和精氨酸浓度,但降低了异亮氨酸浓度(P<0.05).与饲喂LTM日粮组相比,饲喂对照组日粮的仔猪空肠中b0+表达量稍低,背最长肌和半腱肌中CAT-1表达量较高(P<0.05),且血清中异亮氨酸、亮氨酸和缬氨酸浓度较低(P<0.05),而赖氨酸的浓度较高(P<0.01).以上结果表明,日粮氨基酸水平和来源均可影响饲喂小麦基础日粮猪体内阳离子氨基酸转运体的表达.  相似文献

本试验旨在研究饲粮中添加山竹醇对生长育肥猪生长性能、肌肉抗氧化能力和肌纤维类型组成的影响。试验选取80日龄左右、健康状况良好且体重[(35.50±1.50) kg]相近的"杜×长×大"三元杂交公猪48头,随机分为4组,每组12个重复,每个重复1头猪。试验期90 d,试验期间,对照组全程饲喂基础饲粮,试验Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ组分别在屠宰前30、60、90 d持续饲喂在基础饲粮中添加400 mg/kg山竹醇的试验饲粮。试验结束时,每个重复随机选择6头试验猪进行屠宰,取其背最长肌样品,检测其抗氧化指标、肌纤维类型组成、过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体γ辅激活因子-1α(PGC-1α)与p300活性以及肌纤维类型和肌肉生长相关基因的mRNA表达量。结果显示:1)与对照组相比,各试验组生长育肥猪全程平均日增重(ADG)、平均日采食量(ADFI)和料重比(F/G)均无显著影响(P0.05)。2)与对照组相比,生长育肥猪屠宰前60和90 d饲喂添加400 mg/kg山竹醇的饲粮均可以显著提高背最长肌中总超氧化物歧化酶(T-SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性(P0.05),显著降低背最长肌中丙二醛(MDA)含量(P0.05)。3)与对照组相比,生长育肥猪屠宰前60和90 d饲喂添加400 mg/kg山竹醇的饲粮均可以显著提高背最长肌中Ⅰ型肌纤维的比例(P0.05),显著降低背最长肌中Ⅱ型肌纤维的比例(P0.05)。4)各组生长育肥猪背最长肌中肌球蛋白重链(MyHC)-Ⅱx的mRNA表达量无显著差异(P0.05);与对照组相比,生长育肥猪屠宰前60和90 d饲喂添加400 mg/kg山竹醇的饲粮均可以显著提高背最长肌中MyHC-Ⅰ和MyHC-Ⅱa的mRNA表达量(P0.05),显著降低背最长肌中MyHC-Ⅱb的mRNA表达量(P0.05)。5)与对照组相比,生长育肥猪屠宰前60和90 d饲喂添加400 mg/kg山竹醇的饲粮均可以显著降低背最长肌中p300活性(P0.05),显著提高背最长肌中PGC-1α活性(P0.05)。综合以上结果得出,生长育肥猪屠宰前60或90 d饲喂添加400 mg/kg山竹醇的饲粮可以提高肌肉的抗氧化能力,增加背最长肌中Ⅰ型肌纤维的比例,且具有生理阶段效应。  相似文献

本试验旨在研究壳寡糖(COS)对生长育肥猪生长性能、肉品质、抗氧化功能以及免疫功能的影响。试验选取体重[(37.00±1.55) kg]相近的"杜×长×大"生长猪225头,随机分成3组,每组3个重复,每个重复25头。对照组饲喂基础饲粮,COS组饲喂添加30 mg/kg COS的基础饲粮,低能低蛋白质+COS组饲喂添加30 mg/kg COS的低能低蛋白质饲粮(粗蛋白质含量降低1个百分点,消化能降低0.21 MJ/kg)。试验期98 d。结果表明:1)与对照组相比,COS组生长育肥猪料重比显著降低(P0.05)。2)与对照组相比,COS组生长育肥猪背最长肌中肌苷酸和部分鲜味氨基酸(谷氨酸、苯丙氨酸和丙氨酸)含量显著提高(P0.05),低能低蛋白质+COS组生长育肥猪背最长肌中肌苷酸含量同样显著提高(P0.05)。3)与对照组相比,COS组生长育肥猪血清总抗氧化能力显著提高(P0.05),血清丙二醛含量显著降低(P0.05);同时,COS组生长育肥猪肝脏中相关抗氧化基因——谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶1(GPx1)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶4(GPx4)和p53的mRNA相对表达量显著提高(P0.05)。4)与对照组相比,COS组生长育肥猪血清免疫球蛋白G和免疫球蛋白M含量显著提高(P0.05),低能低蛋白质+COS组生长育肥猪血清免疫球蛋白M含量也显著提高(P0.05);同时,COS组和低能低蛋白质+COS组生长育肥猪血清补体4含量均显著提高(P0.05)。5)与对照组相比,COS组生长育肥猪十二指肠绒毛高度与隐窝深度的比值显著提高(P0.05)。综上所述,基础饲粮添加30 mg/kg COS可通过提高机体的免疫功能、抗氧化功能及改善肠道黏膜形态,进而提高生长育肥猪的生长性能,并一定程度上改善猪肉品质。  相似文献

选取健康的60头杜×长×大三元杂交育肥猪,将其分成两组:试验1组(对照)、试验2组,每组30头猪,分3个重复,每个重复10头猪;用常规饲粮饲喂对照组猪;在常规饲粮中添加0.5%的配方抗氧化应激剂后,饲喂试验2组猪;饲养试验时间35 d。使用配方抗氧化应激剂,可使猪的日增重提高17.61%,饲料转化率提高8.14%,猪血清谷丙转氨酶活性降低14.31%,血清谷草转氨酶活性降低19.45%,血清总超氧化物歧化酶活性提高5.89%,血清丙二醛降低17.60%,猪背最长肌总超氧化物歧化酶活性提高19.93%,肝脏总超氧化物歧化酶活性提高7.25%,背最长肌丙二醛降低22.54%,肝脏丙二醛降低17.37%,背最长肌滴水损失降低41.56%。试验结果表明,配方抗氧化应激剂可增强猪的抗氧化功能,提高生产性能。  相似文献

The study was designed to investigate the effect of Rhodobacter capsulatus on serum and meat cholesterol, fatty acid composition in meat, as well as meat quality of finishing pigs. A total of 16 120-day-old Landrace female pigs of about 60 kg initial body weight were randomly assigned into two groups. The pigs were fed a supplemented diet with 0.04% dietary R. capsulatus or a control diet for 60 days. Total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol concentration in serum was significantly lowered ( P  < 0.05) in the pigs fed the R. capsulatus supplemented diet compared to the control diet. Carcass weight, carcass length, shoulder fat, back fat and loin fat thickness, longissimus muscle (LM) area, and color score did not differ significantly between the pigs fed the R. capsulatus supplemented diet and control diet. Among the nutrient composition of LM meat, neutral fat and triglyceride concentration were significantly ( P  < 0.05) reduced in the finishing pigs by dietary supplementation of R. capsulatus . The proportions of n-6 PUFA were higher ( P  < 0.05) in the pigs fed the R. capsulatus supplemented diet than in the pigs fed the control diet. The supplementation of dietary R. capsulatus to finishing pig diet played important roles in reducing serum cholesterol and meat triglycerides, as well as in increasing polyunsaturated fatty acid content in LM meat.  相似文献

本研究旨在探讨饲料添加苹果果胶寡糖(APOS)对育肥后期猪胴体性状、肉品质和结肠主要菌群的影响。试验选取36头平均体重约为80 kg健康"杜×长×大"去势公猪,按照体重相近的原则随机分为3个处理,每个处理6个重复,每个重复2头猪。各处理分别饲喂在基础饲粮中添加0、200和400 mg/kg APOS的饲粮,试验期为28 d。结果表明,饲粮添加APOS未显著影响育肥猪生长性能(P0.05);饲粮添加APOS不同程度地提高了育肥猪的眼肌面积(P0.05)和肌内脂肪含量(P=0.07),不同程度地降低了育肥猪的肌肉滴水损失(P=0.06)和蒸煮损失(P0.05);另外,饲粮添加APOS还提高了育肥猪结肠食糜中总菌的数量(P=0.07),且显著提高了结肠食糜中挥发性脂肪酸的含量(P0.05)。综上所述,在饲粮中添加200或400 mg/kg APOS对育肥猪生长性能无影响,但可在不同程度上改善育肥猪胴体性状和肉品质,并调节了结肠主要菌群和挥发性脂肪酸产生。  相似文献

The effect of n-3 fatty acid-enriched diets (in the form of 0.5% linseed oil with either 1.5% sunflower oil or 1.5% olive oil) and alpha-tocopheryl acetate supplementation (200 mg/kg feed) on lipid oxidation (thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances, TBARS) and cholesterol oxide products (COPS) in cooked pork was investigated. Longissimus muscle was studied. Meat from pigs fed 0.5% linseed oil-enriched diets had a higher proportion of n-3 fatty acid than meat from pigs in other dietary groups in neutral (P < 0.0001) and polar lipids (P < 0.0001), and a 20% reduction in the n-6:n-3 ratio was observed. Alpha-tocopheryl acetate supplementation increased (P < 0.05) monounsaturated fatty acids in polar lipids and increased (P = 0.0001) alpha-tocopherol levels in muscle. Alpha-tocopherol concentration in muscle was affected by dietary fat (P < 0.05). Groups receiving diets enriched with sunflower oil had significantly higher alpha-tocopherol levels (P < 0.05) in muscle than those groups receiving olive oil-enriched diets. Numbers of TBARS were significantly (P < 0.05) lower in the group fed supplemental olive oil than in those fed sunflower oil. Dietary linseed oil increased (P < 0.05) lipid oxidation principally at the initial period of storage in cooked pork. Overall, dietary alpha-tocopheryl acetate supplementation significantly increased (P < 0.001) lipid stability and decreased (P < 0.05) total COP production across the dietary groups. Alpha-tocopherol was a more effective antioxidant for decreasing TBARS values in cooked meat when adding sunflower oil to the diets instead of olive oil.  相似文献

本试验旨在研究在玉米干酒糟及其可溶物(DDGS)饲粮中添加共轭亚油酸(CLA)或甜菜碱(BET)对肥育猪生长性能、血清生化指标及抗氧化功能的影响。选用(60±2)kg"杜×长×大"三元杂交猪32头,随机分为4个处理,每个处理8个重复,每个重复1头猪。Ⅰ组为对照组,饲喂玉米-豆粕型基础饲粮;Ⅱ组在Ⅰ组的基础上用30%的玉米DDGS替代豆粕和部分玉米;Ⅲ、Ⅳ组在Ⅱ组的基础上分别添加1%的CLA和0.1%的BET。试验期42 d。结果表明:1)各组间生长性能差异不显著(P>0.05)。2)血清生化指标方面,与Ⅰ组相比,Ⅱ组总蛋白(TP)含量以及谷丙转氨酶(ALT)活性显著降低(P<0.05),Ⅳ组胆固醇(CHO)含量显著下降(P<0.05)。与Ⅱ组相比,Ⅳ组葡萄糖(GLU)含量显著升高(P<0.05)。3)血清抗氧化指标方面,与Ⅰ组相比,Ⅱ组丙二醛(MDA)含量显著升高(P<0.05)。与Ⅱ组相比,Ⅲ组MDA含量显著降低(P<0.05),总超氧化物歧化酶(T-SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px)活性以及总抗氧化能力(T-AOC)均显著升高(P<0.05);Ⅳ组T-SOD以及GSH-Px活性显著升高(P<0.05)。4)肌肉抗氧化指标方面,与Ⅰ组相比,Ⅱ组MDA含量显著升高(P<0.05)。与Ⅱ组相比,Ⅲ、Ⅳ组MDA含量显著下降(P<0.05),同时T-AOC显著升高(P<0.05)。综上所述,在肥育猪饲粮中添加30%的玉米DDGS对其生长性能无显著影响,但机体抗氧化能力有所降低;而在玉米DDGS饲粮中添加1%的CLA或0.1%的BET后,机体抗氧化能力在一定程度上得到了改善。  相似文献

Crossbred pigs, heterozygous for the halothane gene, were used to determine the effects of long-term dietary supplementation of magnesium mica (MM) and short-duration transportation stress on performance, stress response, postmortem metabolism, and pork quality. Pigs were blocked by weight, penned in groups (six pigs per pen), and pens (three pens per diet) were assigned randomly either to a control corn-soybean meal diet or the control diet supplemented with 2.5% MM (as-fed basis; supplemented at the expense of corn). Diets were fed during the early-finisher (0.95% lysine, as-fed basis; 43.7 to 68 kg) and late-finisher (0.85% lysine, as-fed basis; 68 to 103 kg) periods. At the conclusion of the 71-d feeding trial, 12 pigs from each dietary treatment were selected randomly and subjected either to no stress (NS) or 3 h of transportation stress (TS). Dietary MM had no effect (P > or = 0.40) on ADG or ADFI; however, G:F was improved (P < 0.05) during the early-finisher period when pigs were fed MM-supplemented diets. Plasma glucose concentrations were increased in TS pigs fed the control diet, but transportation did not affect plasma glucose in pigs fed 2.5% MM (diet x transportation stress; P = 0.02). Dietary MM did not affect blood lactate, cortisol, insulin, NEFA, Ca, or Mg concentrations in response to TS (diet x transportation stress; P > or = 0.13); however, circulating lactate, cortisol, and glucose concentrations increased in TS pigs (transportation stress x time; P < 0.01). The LM from TS pigs fed MM had higher initial (0-min) and 45-min pH values than the LM from NS pigs fed the control diet (diet x transportation stress x time; P = 0.07). Lactic acid concentration and glycolytic potential were greater in the LM of TS pigs fed MM than TS pigs fed control diets (diet x transportation stress; P < or = 0.01). Although some trends were identified, neither MM (P > or = 0.15) nor TS (P > or = 0.11) altered the color or water-holding capacity of the LM and semimembranosus. The transportation model elicited the expected changes in endocrine and blood metabolites, but dietary MM did not alter the stress response in pigs. An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of a restriction to home-grown feedstuffs and abstinence from supplementation with synthetic amino acids (AA), as ideal objectives in organic pig production according to the IFOAM standards, on growth performance and carcass characteristics. One hundred individually housed pigs were allocated to four dietary treatments and fed from growing through finishing to compare three organic barley/wheat-based diets with an isocaloric conventional diet supplemented with synthetic AA. Protein sources in the organic treatments were either faba beans, supplemented with potato protein to the same AA level as the control diet, peas and lupines, or faba beans and lupines, both without further supplementation, leading to a lower level of limited AA. Supplementation of organic diets with potato protein resulted in the same performance as supplementing the conventional diet with synthetic AA, although crude protein levels differed markedly. Pigs fed the organic diets without AA supplementation grew more slowly (P < .05) and had a decreased feed intake in the grower period (P < .05) but nearly the same feed efficiency (P > .05) as pigs fed conventional or organic diets with AA supplementation. Carcass characteristics differed in percentage of lean meat and longissimus area, being lower in the treatments without AA supplementation (P < .05). However, the intramuscular fat was higher without AA supplementation (2.9% fat) than with supplementation (1.2% fat) (P < .01). The data show that the exclusion of AA supplementation resulted in a reduction in pig performance but in an increase in intramuscular fat content; the latter is an important aspect of eating quality characteristics.  相似文献

Crossbred pigs (n = 185) were used to test the effects of dietary Fe supplementation on performance and carcass characteristics of growing-finishing swine. Pigs were blocked by BW, allotted to pens (5 to 6 pigs/pen), and pens (5 pens/block) were allotted randomly to either negative control (NC) corn-soybean meal grower and finisher diets devoid of Fe in the mineral premix, positive control (PC) corn-soybean meal grower and finisher diets with Fe included in the mineral premix, or the PC diets supplemented with 50, 100, or 150 ppm Fe from Availa-Fe (an Fe-AA complex). When the lightest block averaged 118.2 kg, the pigs were slaughtered, and bone-in pork loins were collected during fabrication for pork quality data. During the grower-I phase, there was a tendency for supplemental Fe to reduce ADG linearly (P = 0.10), whereas in the grower-II phase, supplemental Fe tended to increase ADG linearly (P = 0.10). Even though pigs fed NC had greater G:F during the finisher-I phase (P < 0.05) and across the entire trial (P = 0.07), live performance did not (P > or = 0.13) differ among dietary treatments. There were linear increases in 10th-rib fat depth (P = 0.08) and calculated fat-free lean yield (P = 0.06); otherwise, dietary Fe did not (P > 0.19) affect pork carcass muscling or fatness. Moreover, LM concentrations of total, heme, and nonheme Fe were similar (P > 0.23) among treatments. A randomly selected subset of loins from each treatment was further fabricated into 2.5-cm-thick LM chops, placed on styrofoam trays, overwrapped with polyvinyl chloride film, and placed in coffin-chest display cases (2.6 degrees C) under continuous fluorescent lighting (1,600 lx) for 7 d. During display, chops from NC-fed pigs and pigs fed the diets supplemented with 100 ppm Fe tended to have a more vivid (higher chroma value; P = 0.07), redder (higher a* value; P = 0.09) color than LM chops of pigs fed 50 ppm of supplemental Fe. Moreover, greater (P < 0.01) redness:yellowness ratios in chops from pigs supplemented with 100 ppm Fe indicated a more red color than chops from PC-fed pigs or pigs fed diets supplemented with 50 ppm Fe. In conclusion, however, increasing dietary Fe had no appreciable effects on performance, carcass, or LM characteristics, suggesting that current dietary Fe recommendations are sufficient for optimal growth performance, pork carcass composition, and pork quality.  相似文献
