Old potato cultivars from the Nordic Genetic Resource Center (NordGen) and advanced breeding clones from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) were evaluated for susceptibility to Potato Virus Y (PVY) and Potato Leafroll Virus (PLRV), foliar and tuber resistance to late blight – caused by Phytophthora infestans – as well as for glycoalkaloid content and crossing ability. Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbant Assay (ELISA) tests were used for PVY and PLRV screening during two years that were characterized by intensive virus incidence and severity in the field, while foliar and tuber resistances to late blight were assessed under artificial inoculation with an aggressive Swedish isolate of P. infestans. Hybrid seeds were obtained by crossing cultivars such as ‘Kiva’, ‘Sarpo Mira’, ‘Rosamunda’ and ‘Superb’ with SLU advanced breeding clones and a selected clone of Solanum tuberosum Group Andigena. Some cultivars (‘Hårek’, ‘Sarpo Mira’) and breeding clones (04-2662, 04-2085) with late blight resistance did not show virus infection. The α-solanin and α-chaconin contents of some of the old Nordic potato cultivars and breeding clones were similar to the known Dutch table cultivar ‘Bintje’ after 3 years of testing. This research allows identification of promising Nordic potato cultivars and SLU breeding clones for further use in developing germplasm aiming at organic and conventional farming systems.  相似文献

The effects of varied amounts of fertilization on yield, fruit quality, and nitrogen (N) uptake of muskmelons (Cucumis melo L. var reticulatus Naud) grown under both organic and conventional farming conditions were evaluated. Organic fertilizer (0.0, 0.55, 1.1, and 2.2 kg m?2) and mineral fertilizers containing the same amounts of estimated plant available nutrients [N, phosphorus (P), and potassium (K)] were applied to organic and conventional farming plots, respectively, in both the spring and autumn seasons of 2005. In comparison to conventional farming conditions, muskmelons grown under organic farming conditions had the same yield, total soluble solids (TSS) and soluble sugar contents in both growing seasons, and fruit pulp nitrate content was significantly reduced by 12% on average in spring and 16% on average in autumn. At harvest maturity the aboveground plant N concentration was significantly higher in the conventional treatments than in the organic treatments. At the vine growth stage, the plant N concentrations were similar in all treatments in both seasons. The ratios of nitrate N to total N amount in aboveground biomass were higher in conventional and high fertilized organic treatments than in low or not fertilized organic treatments under limited N supply from the soil. Muskmelon plants absorbed mainly inorganic N, and the protein N fraction in the xylem sap was larger than the amino acid N fraction. Plants grown in the organic system had a higher proportion of organic N in their xylem sap, especially when manure input was low.  相似文献

Abstract

In order to monitor barley and weed development on a loamy sand soil subjected to different agronomic practices, field experiments were conducted for three growing seasons (1992–95) in a semi‐arid agrosystem in central Spain. For eight years, independent plots were managed with three crop sequences: barley (Hordeum vulgare L.)?vetch (Vicia sativa L.); barley? sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.); and a barley monoculture. In all cases, two tillage systems were implemented: no‐tillage and conventional tillage. In the years with standard rainfall (400 mm) an improvement in growth‐related cultivation variables and yield components of barley were observed in plots under barley?vetch rotation and/or conventional tillage. In drier conditions (<350 mm) the growth rate, crop yield and yield components of barley tended to improve under the no‐tillage system. Barley?vetch rotation and/or conventional tillage increased nitrate‐nitrogen (NO3‐N) content in barley plants. Similar results were found for the concentrations of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), and magnesium (Mg). In addition, the plots under crop rotation showed a weed biomass with a high concentration of N, K, and Ca in comparison with plots under monoculture. The lack of spring herbicide treatment in the no‐tillage plots led to a 3‐fold increase in weed density compared with the plots under conventional tillage.  相似文献

Abstract

In 1987, a potato research project called “Minimized use of chemical inputs in potato production” was started in all five Scandinavian countries. In this paper, the results of one field trial series carried out at the Potato Research Institute, Lammi, Finland, during the years 1987–90 are reported. The main plots in a split-plot designed trial series consisted of three cropping systems: conventional, integrated and organic. The subplots included three cultivars differing especially in their late blight (Phythophtora infestans, (Mont.) de Bary) resistance: Bintje, Record and Matilda.

Canopy measurements showed differences that can be attributed to different nitrogen supply in decreasing order from conventional to integrated to organic system. The trial sites were very heavily infested with potato scab, resulting in a very low percentage of I-class yield in susceptible cultivars Bintje and Matilda. Late blight was a serious problem in organically grown Bintje, as expected.

Total yields in the integrated and organic systems were 10% and 36% lower, respectively, than in the conventional system. There was an interaction between cropping system and cultivar in favour of Bintje and the conventional system and Record in the organic system. The percentage of I-class yield was lowest in the conventional system. Some of the quality characteristics were slightly improved in the integrated and/or organic systems. Storage losses, caused mainly by tuber blight, were high in organically grown potatoes.

There were no large differences in production costs between the cropping systems. The main determinants of the unit production cost of potatoes were total yield and yield of I-class potatoes. The average unit costs were 1.76 FIM kg?1 in the conventional, 1.68 FIM kg?1 in the integrated and 2.36 FIM kg?1 in the organic system. Record showed the lowest unit production costs in all systems ?1.33, 1.37 and 1.80 FIM kg?1, respectively.  相似文献

Abstract

Earlier harvest of potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) can be achieved by different treatments of the seed tubers. This can be important, for example, in areas with a short growing season and in organic farming. In a pot experiment, different pre-sprouting methods were evaluated for four cultivars. The experiment consisted of (a) untreated seed tubers stored at 4 °C until planting, (b) traditional pre-sprouted tubers (P) and (c) pre-sprouted tubers with stimulation of adventitious root formation (PR). Pre-sprouted seed tubers have earlier and faster tuber formation, but often lower yield than non pre-sprouted tubers if there is no restriction of the growing season. The PR method developed here, where tubers were sprayed with water to stimulate adventitious root formation and give faster development and tuber initiation than conventional pre-sprouting, can be of value when the growing season is restricted or if early harvest is important. Initial emergence of the pre-sprouted potatoes was monitored in two pot experiments. Emergence was faster for the pre-sprouted treatments compared with the control, but there were no significant differences between the two pre-sprouting methods. At harvest, the pre-sprouted treatments gave higher yield than the control for all growing periods, methods and cultivars, although the differences were not significant for every combination. The cultivars Matilda, Cicero, Ovatio and Superb seemed to respond more positively in terms of yield to PR treatments than cv. Ditta. The new method for stimulating adventitious root formation developed here will substantially help growers to achieve earlier harvests.  相似文献

Brassica has potential as a grain and grazing option for mixed farming operations. The objectives of this experiment were to determine suitable nitrogen (N) application timing and Brassica cultivar for use as a dual-purpose crop. The field experiment was conducted at the Agricultural Research Farm of the Agricultural University, Peshawar, Pakistan, during winter 2009–2010 in a randomized complete block design with split-plot arrangement. The experiment consisted of three cultivars, three N application timings, and cutting treatments. Plant height and leaf area were greater at two and three split N applications. Likewise, leaf area was greater for N when applied in two split applications. Brassica cultivar Abasin-95 quickly emerged and attained more leaf area and leaf area index when compared to NIFA Raya and Dure-e-NIFA. Abasin-95 and Dure-e-NIFA took fewer days to mature when compared to NIFA Raya. NIFA Raya produced taller plants. Cutting significantly affected all parameters except days to maturity. Early flowering, taller plants, and greater leaf number, area, and leaf area index were noted for no-cut plots when compared to cut plots.  相似文献

Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) nutrient status of two winter wheat cultivars (Kobra and Juma) in the organic crop production system was compared with integrated and conventional systems. This research was conducted between 1998 and 2000 at the Experimental Station in Osiny (Lublin province, Poland) on a grey-brown podzolic soil. To determine N, P, and K contents shoot samples of wheat were taken at the shooting and earing growth stages. Measurements of chlorophyll content were performed with a chlorophyll meter (SPAD) to estimate N nutrient status. Four different methods [Nitrogen Nutrient Index (NNI), Soil Plant Analysis Development (SPAD), Diagnostic Recommendation Integrated System (DRIS), and Sufficiency Range (SR)] of nutrient status evaluation were compared. Nitrogen (N) and potassium (K) nutrient status of wheat cultivated in the organic system was lower compared with the other farming systems. Assuring sufficient supply of nitrogen to cereals under the conditions of organic farming is particularly difficult in early growth stages. In the integrated and conventional systems wheat was sufficiently supplied with NPK. Kobra cv. proved to be more adapted to the organic system. Results indicate that classical nutrient status indices are of lesser use for organic farming.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The content of macronutrients in potato tubers arouses interest because of their substantial consumption in the world and significant role in elements' budget in human diet. The research objective has been to evaluate the content of macronutrients in tubers of potatoes grown in different systems of crop production in Poland. In 2012–2014, an experiment was conducted to test potato cultivation in three-crop production systems: conventional, integrated and organic. In each of the six-field crop rotation systems, there were five potato cultivars classified into different earliness groups. The following macronutrients in dry mass of potato tubers were determined: N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, S and Cl, and the various ratios between them were calculated. The research carried out proved that potatoes production systems affect the chemical composition of tubers, which is additionally modified by whether condition and genetic features of cultivars. Potato tubers from organic farming contained by about 20% less N than tubers from conventional or integrated systems. Potato tubers from organic production system displayed lower content of Ca and Na in comparison with the conventional and integrated systems. The least of P and S were detected in tubers of the potatoes grown conventionally.  相似文献

试验于2010~2011年连续2年以济源市4个早实核桃品种香玲、鲁光、中林1号、薄丰为试材进行了对比试验,研究了不同采样时期叶片中N、 P、 K、 Ca、 Mg、 Fe、 Cu、 Mn、 Zn 9种矿质营养元素的含量变化及其与产量的关系。结果表明,早实核桃叶片中9种元素的含量在年周期内呈规律性变化,含量高低依次为 Ca>N>Mg>P>K,Fe>Mn>Zn>Cu。不同品种各元素的含量变幅最大为127.69~169.53 mg/kg(Mn),最小为2.1~92.26 g/kg(K)。不同早实核桃品种叶片内矿质元素含量的年变化趋势表现为N、 P、 K总体上呈下降趋势,最高含量为展叶期(4月20日)分别为36.79、 5.54、 2.93 g/kg,最低在落叶前期(9月28日),分别为17.45、 2.66、 1.86 g/kg;Ca、 Mg、 Fe、 Mn 4元素含量的变化总体上表现为前期低后期高;Cu、Zn含量的变化有差异但差异不明显。总的来看, 5~7月份,即新梢速长期(5月20日)至硬核期(7月20日)是核桃树养分稳定的时期, 叶片中N、 P、 K含量之间呈极显著的正相关, N、 P与Ca、 Mg、 Mn、 Cu间呈极显著的负相关,可以认为N、 P、 K之间存在增效作用,Ca、 Mg、 Mn、 Cu 对N、 P 和 K 均存在一定的拮抗作用。元素含量与产量的相关分析表明,N、 P、 K在新梢速长期均与产量达(极)显著正相关,相关系数分别为0.819、 0.843和0.895。因此, 利用叶片进行营养诊断最佳,采样时间以新梢速长期(5月20日前后)为宜。  相似文献

In this 2-year field study, we investigated the allelopathic effects of three wheat cultivars (Shafaq-06, Faisalabad-08 and Sehar-06) against different density levels (0, 100, 200 and 300 plants m?2) of littleseed canarygrass (Phalaris minor Retz.). Crop was sown on 1 and 3 December during 2010–2011 and 2011–2012 cropping seasons, respectively. The results showed that wheat cultivar Shafaq-06 produced more phenolic compounds at all density levels of littleseed canarygrass during both years, which caused more inhibition of littleseed canarygrass growth. More suppressive advantage of cultivar Shafaq-06 against littleseed canarygrass was responsible for its better morphological and yield related traits, and grain yield than cultivars Faisalabad-08 and Sehar-06. Among the tested cultivars, cultivar Sehar-06 had minimum allelopathic potential in suppressing littleseed canarygrass. In crux, Shafaq-06 possesses allelopathic potential to suppress littleseed canarygrass and may be used for breeding future wheat cultivars with high allelopathic activity for better weed suppression.  相似文献

Abstract

Commercial production of genetically modified (GM) potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) could represent a risk to conventional production if volunteer plants develop from tubers or true seeds that survive until the following growing season. We studied such risks under northernmost European conditions and monitored the effects of cultivar, tuber size and tuber depth in the soil on winter survival at MTT Agrifood Research Finland, Jokioinen (61°06′N, 23°02′E) from 2004–2007. Tubers of two non-GM cultivars, Saturna and Asterix, and two size classes, 25–30 mm and 45–50 mm, were planted at depths of 10 and 20 cm in autumn, soon after harvest. In winters 2004–2005 and 2005–2006 all tubers planted in the soil in autumn were killed by frost. In 2005–2006, the field was covered by up to 30–40 cm of snow and the minimum soil temperatures ranged between ?0.4oC and ?0.9oC, but only 0.0–3.5% of the tubers survived and there was no difference between cultivars, tuber sizes and planting depths. Under laboratory conditions compared with ?2.0°C and ?2.5°C, treatment at ?3.0°C for 72 h resulted in significantly lower survival rate of the tubers (8.2%). Asterix, a late maturing table potato cultivar, was more resistant to low temperatures than the processing cultivar Saturna. In general, volunteer tubers are not currently a significant risk for coexistence of GM and conventional potato production in northern Europe due to the cold winter conditions but also due to possibilities to control the sporadic volunteers from the next crop. However, we noted that seedlings initiated from true potato seed are able to produce tubers despite the short growing season. Such a risk could be reduced by accepting only non-berry-producing GM cultivars for cultivation.  相似文献

Long-term effects of biological and conventional farming on earthworm populations In a long-term trial the earthworm populations of two biological farming systems, two conventional systems and one control treatment were compared. The experimental site contained a Luvisol from loess under arable land. The earthworms were investigated by handsorting three times in 1990 and 1991 after beetroot and winterwheat. The main differences within the treatments were fertilization and plant-protection management. All treatments received the same crop-rotation and a similar soil cultivation. The input of organic matter was similar in the three organically manured treatments. Significantly higher earthworm biomass, earthworm densities and presence of anecic species were found in the biological plots than in the conventional and control plots in spring and autumn of 1991. The control plot (no fertilizer during 12 years) had a similar earthworm-population as the conventional treatments. Apparently, plant protection seems to be the main factor responsible for the differences between the treatments. Nicodrilus longus, N. nocturnus, N. caliginosus and Allolobophora rosea were the dominant earthworm species in all treatments.  相似文献

Abstract

Effects of hexazinone on the dynamics of macronutrients were studied in the foliage of trembling aspen, showy aster and marsh reed grass for three years after broadcast application of 10% granular formulation of hexazinone at 0, 2, and 4 kg ai/ha rates in August 1986 in a 3‐year‐old mixedwood cutover in a boreal forest. In untreated plots, nutrient concentrations followed normal patterns: calcium (Ca) increased from spring to late summer; potassium (K), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), and nitrogen (N) peaked in early summer and declined towards fall; and magnesium (Mg) did not show any definite trends. At each sampling date, the coefficient of variation ranged from <10% for Ca, Mg, K and total N to 10–20% for P and S. Seasonal variations in the concentrations of each element were greater than the year‐to‐year variations. In treated plots, hexazinone application resulted in elevated concentrations of total Ca, Mg, K, P, S, and N during the first growing season, but these changes were only significant (P<0.05) at the 4 kg rate. The intensity of the effects declined by the end of the second growing season following herbicide application. In 1989, differences between nutrient levels in foliage from control and treated sites were significant (P<0.05) only for total N. Consequently, any changes in the nutrient status of hexazinone‐treated sites (beyond two years post‐treatment) are not expected to result from changes in foliar nutrient levels, but rather from changes in litter fall quantities, species dominance and total vegetation cover. Nutrient quality of forage for wildlife would not be affected beyond two years post‐treatment.  相似文献

 Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) root colonization was studied in a long-term field trial in which four farming systems currently in use in Switzerland were continuously applied to a randomized set of plots at a single field site from 1978 till 1993. There were two low-input farming systems (organic and bio-dynamic) and two high-input (conventional) farming systems (according to Swiss guidelines of integrated plant production with and without farmyard manure). The systems had an identical 7-year crop rotation and tillage scheme and differed essentially only in the amount and type of fertilizer supplied and in plant protection management. The percentage of root colonization by AM fungi was determined in field samples 2–3 times over the growing season in crops in the rotation, namely in winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L. cv. Sardona), vetch-rye and grass-clover. We found the percentage of root length colonized by AM fungi to be 30–60% higher (P≤0.05) in the plants grown in soils from the low-input farming systems than in those grown in conventionally farmed soils. Approximately 50% of the variation of AM root colonization was explained by chemical properties of the soils (pH, soluble P and K, exchangeable Mg), the effect of soluble soil P being most pronounced. The potential of the field soils from the differently managed plots to cause symbiosis with AM fungi was tested in a glasshouse experiment, using wheat as a host plant. Soils from the low-input farming systems had a greatly enhanced capacity to initiate AM symbiosis. The relative differences in this capacity remained similar when propagules of the AM fungus Glomus mosseae were experimentally added to the soils, although overall root colonization by AM fungi was 2.8 times higher. Abstract

Aphids are major vectors of plant viruses. Potato virus Y (PVY) is the most important aphid-transmitted virus affecting potato crops in Denmark. Because of a changed seed potato growing strategy, the seed potato area in Denmark is changing from regions with a low average temperature to regions with a higher average temperature. This means that the aphids may infest the potato crops earlier and the population development of the aphids may be faster, and consequently PVY may more easily become epidemic in seed potato crops. With a view to reducing the spread of PVY a 3-year experiment was carried out with a combination of mineral oil and insecticides.

In 2005 and 2007 when a very high number of aphids were present, nearly all plants were infected with PVY. In 2006 with a lower number of aphids a smaller proportion of the plants were infected, and a tendency to a lower PVY incidence in mineral-oil treated plots was found, but more than the 8% threshold value. Even in plots where systemic neonicotinoids were applied and very few aphids were recorded, no significant reduction in infestation level of PVY was found.

The present experiment shows that mineral oil and insecticides applied to potato crops each week for a 6-week period as protection against aphid transmission of PVY did not significantly reduce the level of PVY infestations in potatoes.  相似文献

Sulfur (S) is an essential nutrient in crop plants and one of the components of amino acids (AAs) and proteins. Studies about sulfur efficiency on soybean cultivars [Glycine max (L) Merril] adapted to the tropical and subtropical conditions are still incipient. In Brazil, one experiment under greenhouse conditions evaluated the S-efficiency from eight soybean cultivars. The plants cultivated in a Typic Quartzipsamment received two S rates (0 and 80 mg kg?1). The grain yield (GY), shoot dry weight (SDW), and the relative yield (RY) had influence from the S rates. The cultivars BRS 295RR and BRS 360RR were the most efficient in using the S application. The number of pods per plant (NPP), photosynthetic rate (A), nitrate reductase (N-NO2?), and chlorophyll significantly increased with de 80 mg kg?1 of S. By contrast, the internal concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) (Ci) was reduced. Similarly, there were increases in the concentration of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), magnesium (Mg), and N:S ratio in the leaves and grain, but the K increased only in the leaves. Comparing the cultivars, only the N concentration in the leaves and the Mg in the grain had non-significant differences.  相似文献

Chlorophyll meter readings below a threshold value would indicate the necessity to supply nitrogen (N) to the crop. This study aimed to determine threshold values for chlorophyll meter (SPAD) and nitrogen (N) rate effects on SPAD leaf measurements of potato cultivars through the crop cycle. Five N rates (0, 50, 100, 200, and 300 kg ha?1) were evaluated in a randomized block design, with four repetitions. SPAD index was measured on the oldest (OL) and on the fourth leaf from the apex (FL) at 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, and 49 days after the emergence of 90% of the plants in the plots. SPAD values decreased with plant age and were influenced by N rates and leaf position. At 21 DAE, the SPAD threshold values on FL were 43.0, 44.6, 46.5, and 50.0 for ‘Agata’, ‘Monalisa’, ‘Atlantic’, and ‘Asterix’, respectively. The corresponding values were 41.9, 43.5, 49.9, and 49.9 on OL. Plant age and leaf position should be standardized for the assessment of SPAD threshold values to diagnose nitrogen status of potato cultivars.  相似文献

A field experiment was conducted during two consecutive years of 2010–2011 and 2011–2012 to study the effect of biofertilizers in conjunction with organic and inorganic sources of nutrient management on productivity, quality and soil health on field pea at ICAR RC for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre Jharnapani, Nagaland, India. The experiment was laid out in split plot design with five nutrient sources in main plots and four treatment of biofertilizers with zinc in sub plots. Results indicated that the application of 100% recommended dose of fertilizer (RDF) through inorganic + 50% recommended dose of nitrogen (RDN) through vermicompost significantly improved root nitrogen (N) content, cation exchange capacity (CEC) of roots, NA activates, seed yield (1153 and 1262 kg ha?1), straw yield (2182 and 2332 kg ha?1) in the year of 2010–2011 and 2011–2012, respectively. Nutrients (N, P, K, S and Zn) uptake by seed and straw, protein content, protein harvest, soil organic carbon (SOC), available N, P, K, S, Zn and economics significantly higher with 100% RDF through inorganic + 50% RDN through vermicompost during both the years. Seed inoculation with biofertilizers along with 5 kg Zn ha?1 markedly enhanced the root N content, CEC of roots, nitrogenase activities (NA), seed yield (1080 and 1193 kg ha?1), straw yield (1978 and 2128 kg ha?1), nutrients [N, phosphorus (P), potassium (K), sulfur (S) and zinc (Zn)] uptake, soil organic carbon (SOC) (%), and available N, P, K, S, and Zn of pea in both the years, respectively. These sources also give more income and benefit cost ratio per rupees invested.  相似文献

Insufficient potassium (K) nutrition produces detrimental effects on cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) lint yield and fiber quality. To further understand the deleterious effects caused by K deficiency, a 2‐yr (1991 and 1992) field study was conducted to determine how dry matter partitioning and nutrient concentrations of various plant tissues for the cotton genotypes, ‘DES 119’ and ‘MD 51 ne’, were altered by varying the application rate of fertilizer K and nitrogen (N). All plots received a preplant application of 112 kg N ha‐1, and half of the plots were later sidedressed with an additional 38 kg N ha‐1. Within each N treatment, half the plots received 112 kg K ha‐1, preplant incorporated, with the remaining plots not receiving any fertilizer K. Dry matter harvests were taken three times in 1991 and two times in 1992. At cutout (slowing of vegetative growth and flowering), plants that received K fertilization had a 14% more leaf area index (LAI), a 3% increase in the number of main stem nodes, and a 2% increase in plant height. However, those plants had a 12% lower specific leaf weight (SLW) than plants receiving no K fertilization. By the end of season, the of K fertilization had resulted in more stem (21%), bur (13%), seed (19%), and lint weight (20%), but harvest index was not affected. Varying the level of N fertilization did not affect any of these dry matter parameters at any harvest. In general, the larger plants produced under K fertilization had reduced concentrations of N, phosphorus (P), magnesium (Mg), and sodium (Na) in the various plant parts. While N uptake efficiency was not affected by K fertility, plants that received K fertilization had increased efficiency of fertilizer N use and of N utilization within the plant. The smaller LAI of the K deficient plants probably reduced the photosynthetic capacity per plant. A reduced assimilation capacity could explain the inefficiency of N use, lint yield reductions, and poorer fiber quality often associated with K deficiencies.  相似文献

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of different compositions of nitrogen (N) sources on yield and nutritional quality in potato cultivars (Solanum tuberosum L.). The experiment used a factorial arrangement as two factors in randomized complete block design. Factor (A) was nitrogen sources: control, 75% M?+?25%V, 50% M?+?50%V, 100% M, where M plots received nitrogen from mineral fertilizer and V plots received nitrogen from vermicompost. Factor (B) was potato cultivars (Sante and Savalan). In Sante cultivar, 75% M?+?25%V produced the highest total and marketable yield. In Savalan, cultivar application of vermicompost in 75% M?+?25%V and 50% M?+?50%V increased significantly total and marketable yield as compared with 100% M. Application of vermicompost significantly decreases tuber nitrate content and increases nitrogen-use efficiency. In Savalan, cultivar 50% V?+?50%M and in Sante cultivar 75% V?+?25%M can effectively be used for improving yield and nutritional quality of tuber.  相似文献
