The ivory shell, Babylonia areolata (Link 1807), has been exploited as an important aquaculture organism along the southern China coast. In order to obtain optimal culture conditions for ivory shell juvenile, the central composite rotatable design was used to estimate the combined effects of temperature, salinity and rearing density on accumulated growth rate (AGR) and survival rate (SR). The results showed that the linear effects of temperature and rearing density on both growth and survival were highly significant (P < 0.01), but there was no significant effect on salinity (P > 0.05). The quadratic effects of temperature, salinity and rearing density influenced growth significantly (P < 0.01). The quadratic effects of temperature and salinity on survival of juvenile snail were significant (P < 0.01), the combined effects between the quadratic effect of temperature and the linear effect of rearing density influenced survival significantly (P < 0.01); the interactive effects of temperature, salinity and rearing density played a significant role in survival (P < 0.01). As can be seen from the above experimental results, the effects of temperature and salinity on growth and survival of B. areolata were strengthened with enhanced rearing density in a certain range and vice versa. By optimization using the response surface method, the optimal point was found at a temperature of 26.81°C, a salinity of 28.76 ppt and a rearing density of 527.07 ind m?2. Under these conditions, the optimal AGR and SR were 36.84 mg day?1 and 99.99%, respectively, with a satisfaction function value of 99.71%.  相似文献

The combined effects of temperature and salinity on the yolk utilization of sac fry in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) were investigated using central composite experimental design and response surface approach. Based on the preliminary trials, temperature was determined to range from 22 to 34°C, and salinity ranging from 2 ppt to 10 ppt. The utilization was mensurated in terms of yolk sac volume. Results showed that the linear effects of temperature and salinity on the yolk utilization was significant (P < 0.01); the quadratic effects of and the interaction between the two factors were significant (P < 0.05); temperature was more important than salinity in influencing the yolk utilization. The model equation of yolk sac volume towards temperature and salinity was established. From those high R2 values, the model had excellent goodness of fit to experimental data and could be applied for predictive purpose. What with the production cost, it is suggested that the temperature/salinity combination, i.e. 28–30°C/4–6 ppt, be employed during the period of sac fry rearing, in which the yolk utilization was on average 98.6%.  相似文献

Two 8‐week growth trials were conducted in indoor recirculation system to evaluate the protein requirements for juvenile (3.70 ± 0.20 g) and pre‐adult (85.2 ± 0.70 g) gibel carp, Carassius auratus gibelio var. CAS III. Six isoenergetic diets were formulated for each trial using fish meal and casein as protein sources, and protein level was 250–450 g kg?1 in Trial 1 and 200–450 g kg?1 in Trial 2. With the increasing dietary protein, feeding rate (FR) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) significantly decreased (< 0.05). Weight gain (WG) increased first and then reached a plateau in 330–450 g kg?1 in Trial 1 (> 0.05), while decreased after the maximum value in 350 g kg?1 in Trial 2 (< 0.05). Productive protein values (PPVs) were lower in 370–450 g kg?1 in Trial 1 and 400–450 g kg?1 in Trial 2 (< 0.05). Increasing dietary protein level increased protein content and decreased lipid content in whole fish body and white muscle (< 0.05). Apparent digestibility coefficient of dry matters (ADCd) decreased, while apparent digestibility coefficient of protein (ADCp) increased in 370–450 g kg?1 in Trial 1 and 250–450 g kg?1 in Trial 2 (< 0.05). Trypsin activity significantly increased in 370–450 g kg?1 in Trial 1 (< 0.05) and was not affected in Trial 2 (> 0.05). Hepatic alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activities in both trials increased when dietary protein was above 400 g kg?1 (< 0.05). Based on quadratic regression of WG, it was estimated that dietary protein requirement for maximum growth was 414 g kg?1 (digestible protein of 376 g kg?1) and 365 g kg?1 (digestible protein of 324 g kg?1) for juvenile (3.70 g) and pre‐adult gibel carp (85.2 g).  相似文献

The effect of the different dietary carbohydrate types and levels on growth performance, haematological indices and hepatic hexokinase (HK) and glucokinase (GK) genes expression involved in control of glucose metabolism, was studied in juvenile mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio). Two carbohydrates (glucose and starch) diets with two levels (250 and 500 g kg?1) were fed to triplicate groups of 35 fish for 60 days. The best weight gain rate and specific growth rate were observed in fish fed with 250 g kg?1 glucose diet and 500 g kg?1 starch diet (< 0.05). Fish fed with 500 g kg?1 glucose showed low feed utilization, with the highest food conversion ratio and the lowest protein efficiency ratio (< 0.05). Hepatosomatic index was significantly higher in fish fed with glucose diets and the 500 g kg?1 starch diet compared to 250 g kg?1 starch. CHOL, HDL‐C and LDL‐C were significantly highest in fish fed with 500 g kg?1 starch than all other diets (< 0.05). Hepatic GK mRNA expression level and activity were positively related to glucose and starch levels (< 0.05). Correlation analysis showed that hepatic glycogen concentration was increased by dietary carbohydrate content (< 0.05). These results suggest that GK may play a major role in the postprandial glucose utilization in juvenile mirror carp.  相似文献

This study was conducted to investigate the influence of dietary distillers dried grain (DDG) level on growth and body composition of juvenile olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus). Five diets (designated as DDG0, DDG7, DDG14, DDG21 and DDG28) were prepared to contain 0, 70, 140, 210 and 280 g kg?1 DDG. Three replicate groups of fish averaging 11.6 ± 0.1 g were fed one of the diets for 8 weeks. Weight gain of fish fed diets containing 70–280 g kg?1 DDG was not different to that of fish fed DDG0 diet (P > 0.05). Feed efficiency of fish fed DDG21 and DDG28 diets was lower than that of fish fed DDG0 diet (< 0.05). The antioxidant enzyme and digestive enzyme activities were not affected by dietary DDG levels. The results of this experiment suggested that DDG is a valuable ingredient as a candidate to replace wheat flour in the diet and could be used up to 280 g kg?1 for the growth of olive flounder. On the other hand, if lower feed efficiency of fish fed 210–280 g kg?1 DDG is considered, up to 140 g kg?1 DDG in diet is recommended for optimum feed utilization of fish.  相似文献

A feeding trial was carried out to determine effects of dietary supplements of inactivated Pediococcus pentosaceus (PP) on growth, feed utilization and blood characteristics of red sea bream. Five diets containing different concentrations [0 (PP0), 1.6 × 1010 (PPI), 1.6 × 1011 (PPII), 1.6 × 1012 (PPIII) and 3.2 × 1012 (PPIV) cells g?1] of PP were fed to fish for 56 days. At the end of the feeding trial, the obtained results revealed a significant increase (P < 0.05) in weight gain, specific growth rate and skin mucus secretion in all PP‐supplemented groups when compared with control group. Moreover, fish fed PPIII and PPIV diets resulted in significantly higher final body weight, feed efficiency ratio and bactericidal activity than those of fish fed PP0 diet (< 0.05). Further, fish fed the PPIII diet also had a higher feed intake, protein efficiency retention, haematocrit, mucus lysozyme activity (LA), plasma and serum proteins than those of PP0 fed group (< 0.05). Similarly, fish fed PPIV diet resulted in a significant increase in serum LA, peroxidase activity and tolerance against low‐salinity stress test (< 0.05). Considering these promising results, we suggest that the supplementation of PP Prep improves growth and health conditions of Pagrus major.  相似文献

The synchronous effects of aqueous Na/K and dietary potassium (K+) on growth and physiological characters was studied on the Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) reared in low‐salinity well water (4 ppt) for 8 weeks with initial weight of 0.28 ± 0.01 g. Three practical diets were formulated with supplement of 0, 0.3%, 0.6% K+ which contained 1.29 g/100 g, 1.60 g/100 g, 1.93 g/100 g K+ respectively. The supplement of K+ to the low‐salinity well water was 10, 20, 40 mg L?1 which formed Na:K ratios of 42:1, 33:1, 23:1 respectively. Results showed that when the aqueous Na:K ratio was 42 and dietary K+ was 1.93 g/100 g K+, the WGR and PER of L. vannamei were the highest and the FCR was lower than that of others (< 0.01). Supplement of K+ into well water and diets did not showed significant effects on haemolymph ammonia‐N, uric acid, urea content (> 0.05), but had a extremely significant effect on arginase activity and Cl? concentration (< 0.01). Moreover, similar results were observed in alkaline phosphatase (ALP), bacteriolytic activity (LSZ) and respiratory burst activity (O2?) (< 0.05). These results suggested that aqueous Na/K in the low‐salt well water and dietary K had significant synergistic effect on the growth, osmoregulation and immunity of L. vannamei. Concluded from the growth performance, nitrogen metabolism, osmoregulation and immunity, as the Na/K in the low‐salinity well water descended from 42 to 23, the requirement of dietary K+ was also decreased.  相似文献

This study compares the effect of food type (formulated diet vs. natural food) and fish size on protein and energy utilization efficiencies for growth in common sole, Solea solea (L.). Replicate groups of common sole (mean initial body weight ± SD was 45.7 g ± 2.1 and 111.2 g ± 4.2) received the diets at five (natural feed) or four (formulated diet) feeding levels. The protein utilization efficiency for growth (kgCP) was higher (> 0.001) in common sole fed ragworms than in common sole fed the formulated diet (respectively, 0.40 and 0.31). Likewise, the energy utilization efficiency for growth (kgGE) was higher (= 0.001) in common sole fed ragworms than in common sole fed the formulated diet (respectively, 0.57 and 0.33). The protein maintenance requirement was not different between food types (= 0.64) or fish size (= 0.41) being on average 0.82 g kg?0.8 day?1. The energy maintenance requirement was not different between food type (= 0.390) but differed between fish size (= 0.036). The gross energy maintenance requirement of small common sole was 35 kJ g?0.8 day?1. The gross energy maintenance requirement of large common sole was 25 kJ g?0.8 day?1. In conclusion, the low growth of common sole fed formulated diets was related to reduced feed utilization.  相似文献

The effects of flow rate on growth and welfare of juvenile turbot (Scophthalmus maximus L.) were investigated in the present study. Fish with same initial weight (102.5 ± 10.6 g) were subjected to four flow rates, equalling to 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 tank volumes per hour in twelve 392 L tanks during 80 days. Results showed that specific growth rate of turbots increased (0.40–0.58% day?1) significantly with promoted flow rate (< 0.05). Total ammonia nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, unionized ammonia nitrogen, chemical oxygen demand, total bacteria and total vibrio in tanks were affected significantly by flow rate and accumulations were found in low rate (200 L h?1) (< 0.05). Free carbon dioxide increased significantly with the increased flow rate and ranged between 4.5 and 13.5 mg L?1 (< 0.05). Both superoxide dismutase activity and lysozyme activity increased significantly with flow rate (< 0.05), with ranges of 108.51–131.57 U mL?1 and 551.81–869.28 U mL?1. Serum cortisol showed reversed tendency and ranged between 7.39–19.26 ng mL?1. The principal components analysis suggested that increased flow rate promoted fish welfare. It was concluded that increased flow rate promoted the growth of juvenile turbot, possibly explained by fish welfare differences in combination of health, water quality and serum parameters.  相似文献

Microwave processing and pelleting methods were assessed to improve aquafeed quality for sex‐reversed Nile tilapia. The 2 × 3 experimental feeds were prepared with and without microwave irradiation of ingredients prior to pelleting with either a meat mincer, extruder or steam conditioner followed by a meat mincer. Five feedstuff ingredients, including fish meal, meat and bone meal, soybean meal, broken rice and rice bran, were irradiated separately at optimal times, according to the third‐order polynomial regression analysis between in vitro digestibility and microwave irradiation times (= 0.681–0.942, < 0.001, = 42). The prepared feeds were studied for chemical compositions and responses in fish growth performance and feed utilization efficiency. The fish (1.57 ± 0.01 g initial weight) were fed ad libitum for 4 months. All proximate chemical compositions of experimental feeds, except protein, were influenced by microwave processing, pelleting methods or their interaction (< 0.05). There were no significant effects from either parameter on water quality during the fish trial. Fish fed steamed microwave‐irradiated feed, mechanically pelleted with a meat mincer, showed the highest growth performance (weight gain 18.91 ± 0.73 g and specific growth rate 2.15 ± 0.26% day?1) and feed utilization efficiency (feed conversion ratio 1.31 ± 0.05 g feed g gain?1 and protein efficiency ratio 2.27 ± 0.08 g gain g protein?1) compared with the other dietary groups. These findings indicate that microwave irradiation of feed ingredients prior to steam conditioning followed by mincing can improve aquafeed production quality.  相似文献

This study aimed to determine the effect of synbiotic (Biomin IMBO) as feed additive on beluga (Huso huso) juvenile with an average body weight of 26.45 ± 0.19 g. Experimental diets at which supplemented with 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0 g synbiotic per kg of feed were fed to beluga juvenile, whereas the control group was fed with no synbiotic. After the feeding trial for 8 weeks, growth performance, survival, lactobacillus bacterial count, blood indices and immunity were tested. Even though, some growth performance and feed utilization parameters including WG, SGR and FCR were improved in group fed with 2.0 g kg?1 synbiotic; however, there were no significant differences (> 0.05) in growth and feeding parameters between juveniles fed control and synbiotic supplementation diets. In terms of intestinal microbiota, there were no significant differences in total and lactic acid bacteria among treatments (> 0.05). In addition, there were no significant differences of RBC counts, haematocrit, monocyte, lymphocyte, neutrophil, serum glucose and serum total protein levels between the treatment groups (> 0.05), but group 2 and 4 g kg?1 synbiotic showed a significant difference (< 0.05) in WBC counts and haemoglobin, respectively. Furthermore, alternative complement activity (ACH50) and serum total immunoglobulin (Ig) were significantly increased in 2.0 g kg?1 synbiotic fed fish (< 0.05); however, it did not change the lysozyme activity, significantly (> 0.05). These results indicate that synbiotic improves immunity of beluga sturgeon without detrimentally impacting the growth performance, modulates intestinal microbiota and basic haematological parameters assessed. Thus, we suggest that 2.0 g kg?1 level of synbiotic may be used as an immunity promoter for beluga sturgeon juvenile.  相似文献

Effect of various dietary protein levels on growth and nutrient utilization were studied in fringe‐lipped carp, Labeo fimbriatus fingerlings for 60 days. Five practical diets containing graded protein levels of 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400 g kg?1 with respective digestible protein (DP) contents of 192.4, 244.5, 291.6, 339.4 and 391.4 g kg?1 were evaluated as five treatments, T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5, respectively, in triplicate. Each experimental tank (80‐L) contained eight fingerlings (4.9 ± 0.1 g) and was subjected to continuous aeration and 25% water replenishment daily. The fish were fed two times daily at 8:00 and 14:00 h to satiation. Significantly higher (< 0.05) absolute growth and thermal growth coefficient, and lower feed conversion ratios (FCR) were observed in T2–T4 than T1 and T5. Protein efficiency ratio (PER) and protein productive values (PPV) were highest in T2 and lowest in T5. Significantly higher (< 0.05) apparent protein digestibility was perceptible in T2–T4. While specific amylase activity declined linearly with increasing DP : DE, the protease, trypsin, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase established polynomial relationship. Based on live weight gain, PER and PPV fitted to quadratic model optimum DP levels were estimated as 301.4, 260.0 and 273.0 g kg?1, respectively.  相似文献

A total of 900 juvenile Jian carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian) (7.99 ± 0.02 g) were fed diets containing graded levels of xylanase at 220 (unsupplemented control), 650, 1070, 1480, 1810 and 2470 U kg?1 diet for 10 weeks to investigate the effects of xylanase levels on growth performance, intestinal enzyme activities and microflora. The per cent weight gain, feed efficiency, protein efficiency ratio, protein production value, lipid production value, ash production value, calcium production value and phosphorus retention ratio were significantly improved with increasing levels of xylanase up to a point, and thereafter declined (< 0.05). The activities of trypsin, chymotrypsin, lipase and amylase in the hepatopancreas and intestine, activities of alkaline phosphatase, Na+, K+‐ATPase, creatine kinase and γ‐glutamyl transpeptidase in three intestinal segments were improved by dietary xylanase (< 0.05). The amounts of Lactobacillus, Escherichia coli and Aeromonas were significantly affected by dietary xylanase levels (< 0.05). In conclusion, xylanase supplementation improved growth performance, enhanced intestinal enzyme activities and influenced the balance of intestinal microflora of juvenile Jian carp. The optimal level of xylanase in juvenile Jian carp (7.99–99.16 g) based on PWG was 1259 U kg?1 diet by the quadratic regression analysis.  相似文献

A 60‐day feeding study was performed to evaluate the role of dietary commercial wood charcoal (CWC) in fish growth performance, body composition and water quality of fingerlings red tilapias (Oreochromis mossambicus × Oreochromis niloticus). Four levels of charcoal (10, 20, 30 and 40 g kg?1) were added to the control diet (0 g kg?1 CWC) and fed to red tilapias (initial weight of 1.20 ± 0.04 g). At the end of the feeding trial, the fish weight gain, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio, protein efficiency ratio and energy retention of the fish groups fed 30 and 40 g kg?1 (CWC) in diet were significantly (P < 0.05) higher comparing with all other tested fish groups. Moreover, some proximate composition such as crude protein and nitrogen retention efficiency g kg?1 of the fish groups fed on 30 and 40 g kg?1 CWC diets showed higher values (P < 0.05) than those of other tested fish groups (0, 10 and 20 g kg?1 CWC). Apparent digestibility coefficients of protein and dry matter were improved (P < 0.05) in CWC‐tested fish groups compared to the control fish group. These data were powered by the data of the water quality that showed significant (P < 0.05) enhancement in both dissolved oxygen and ammonia concentrations by the increment in dietary charcoal levels. The above‐mentioned parameters' data suggested that 30 g kg?1 dietary CWC can be considered as a suitable level to maintain normal growth of red tilapia juveniles as well as to enhance water quality of the rearing area.  相似文献

This study investigated the effects of phenylalanine on growth, digestive and absorptive ability and antioxidant status of young grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella). Young grass carp were fed diets containing 3.4 (basal diet), 6.1, 9.1, 11.5, 14.0 and 16.8 g phenylalanine kg?1 diet with a fixed of 10.7 g tyrosine kg?1 diet for 8 weeks. Percent weight gain (PWG), feed efficiency and feed intake of fish were the lowest in fish fed the basal diet (< 0.05). Trypsin, lipase and amylase activities in the hepatopancreas, and antioxidants including glutathione contents and glutathione reducase activities in the hepatopancreas and intestine were all the highest in fish fed 11.5 g phenylalanine kg?1 diet (< 0.05). Trypsin, chymotrypsin and amylase activities in whole intestine, and creatine kinase, Na+, K+‐ATPase and alkaline phosphatase activities in the proximal intestine, and superoxide dismutase activities in the hepatopancreas and intestine were all the highest when phenylalanine at level of 9.1 g kg?1 diet (< 0.05). In conclusion, phenylalanine improved growth, digestive and absorptive ability, and antioxidant capacity of young grass carp. The phenylalanine requirement of young grass carp (256–629 g) based on PWG was 10.4 g kg?1 diet or 3.44 g 100 g?1 protein.  相似文献

An 8‐week feeding trial was conducted to determine the optimum dietary methionine (Met) requirement of juvenile Pseudobagrus ussuriensis with an initial average weight of 0.60 g reared in indoor flow‐through and aerated aquaria. Six isonitrogenous (430 g kg?1 protein) and isolipidic (50 g kg?1 lipid) test diets were formulated to contain graded levels of crystalline L‐methionine (4.9, 9.0, 11.8, 14.2, 18.1 and 20.8 g kg?1 dry diets, respectively) at a constant dietary cystine level of 2.5 g kg?1 dry diets. Equal amino acid nitrogen was maintained by replacing methionine with non‐essential amino acid mixture. Fish were randomly allotted to 18 aquaria (1.0 × 0.5 × 0.8 m) with 50 fish to each glass aquarium. Fish were fed twice daily (08:00 and 16:00) to apparent satiation. No significant difference was observed in survival of fish (84.67–91.33%). Specific growth rate (SGR), weight gain (WG), feed conversion ratio (FCR), protein productive value (PPV) and protein efficiency ratio (PER) were significantly affected by different dietary methionine levels (< 0.05). WG, SGR PPV and PER increased, while FCR decreased with increasing dietary methionine level from 4.9 to 11.8 g kg?1 (< 0.05). However, with further increase from 11.8 to 20.8 g kg?1, WG, SGR PPV and PER significantly decreased, FCR increased (< 0.05). The whole body and muscle composition were affected by different dietary methionine levels (< 0.05). Condition factor (CF) increased with increasing dietary methionine levels up to 11.8 g kg?1 (< 0.05) and after 11.8 g kg?1 methionine diet, but not significant, declines were observed (> 0.05). Hepatosomatic index (HSI) of the 4.9, 9.0, 11.8 and 14.2 g kg?1 Met diets was significantly higher than that of fish fed diets 18.1 and 20.8 g kg?1 Met diets (< 0.05). Viscerosomatic index (VSI) of the 4.9, 9.0 and 11.8 g kg?1 Met diets was significantly higher than that of fish fed diets 14.2, 18.1 and 20.8 g kg?1 Met diets (< 0.05). Quadratic regression analysis of WG and PER against dietary methionine levels indicated that the optimal dietary methionine requirement for maximum growth and feed utilization of juvenile Pseudobagrus ussuriensis was 14.3 and 14.1 g kg?1 dry diet (35.3 and 34.8 g kg?1 dietary protein), respectively, in the presence of 2.5 g kg?1 dry diets cystine.  相似文献

A 10‐week feeding trial with four dietary protein levels (400, 450, 500 and 550 g kg?1 crude protein) and two dietary lipid levels (80 and 160 g kg?1 crude lipid) was conducted to assess optimum dietary protein and lipid levels for the growth, feed utilization and body composition of juvenile Manchurian trout (initial weight 11.80 ± 0.15 g). Fish were fed twice daily (08:30 and 16:30 h) to apparent satiation. The results showed that fish fed the diet with 500 g kg?1 protein and 80 g kg?1 lipid had the highest growth and feed efficiency. However, fish fed the diet with 450 g kg?1 protein and 160 g kg?1 lipid showed comparable growth to that of the fish fed diet 5 (500/80) and had higher protein efficiency ratio (PER), nitrogen retention (NR) and energy retention (ER) than other groups (< 0.05). Growth, PER, NR and ER of fish fed the 160 g kg?1 lipid diet was significantly higher (< 0.05) than that of fish fed the 80 g kg?1 lipid diet at 400 and 450 g kg?1 protein diet, whereas these values showed an opposite trend at 500 and 550 g kg?1 protein diet, and the lowest PER, NR and ER was found by fish fed the 400 g kg?1 protein diet with 80 g kg?1 lipid. Fish fed diets with 400 g kg?1 protein had lower feed intake (FI) than that of other groups. Feed intake of fish fed 80 g kg?1 lipid level was significantly lower than that of fish fed 160 g kg?1 lipid diet at 400 g kg?1 protein (< 0.05), while no significant differences were observed at 450, 500 and 550 g kg?1 protein‐based diets. Contrary to moisture content, lipid content of whole body and muscle increased significantly (< 0.05) with increasing lipid levels. The results of this study indicated that the diet containing 450 g kg?1 protein and 160 g kg?1 lipid, with a P/E ratio of 23.68 g protein MJ?1 would be suitable for better growth and feed utilization of juvenile Manchurian trout under the experimental conditions and design level used in this study.  相似文献

To study the effects of manganese on growth performance, digestive and absorptive abilities, as well as the antioxidative capacity in the hepatopancreas and intestine, young grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus Val.) (264 ± 1 g) were fed diets containing graded levels of manganese at 3.65 (control), 8.62, 13.48, 18.24, 22.97 and 27.86 mg kg?1 diet for 8 weeks. Per cent weight gain (PWG) and feed intake were the poorest in fish fed the basal diet (< 0.05). The activities of trypsin, lipase and alkaline phosphatase in the intestine were significantly enhanced with dietary manganese level at 13.48 mg kg?1 diet (P < 0.05). Additionally, in the hepatopancreas and intestine, the protein carbonyl and malondialdehyde contents were the lowest in fish fed the diet with dietary manganese level at 13.48 mg kg?1 diet (< 0.05), while the anti‐hydroxyl radical capacities, manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD), glutathione peroxidase and glutathione‐S‐transferase activities were significantly enhanced with dietary manganese level at 13.48 mg kg?1 diet (< 0.05). Moreover, the catalase activity and glutathione content in the intestine were the highest in fish fed the diet with dietary manganese level at 18.24 mg kg?1 diet (< 0.05). These results indicated that optimum dietary manganese promoted growth, enhanced the digestive and absorptive abilities, and improved the antioxidative capacity in young grass carp. Based on the quadratic regression analysis for PWG and intestinal MnSOD activity, the manganese requirements for young grass carp with the initial body weight of 264 g were 16.91 and 18.21 mg kg?1 diet respectively.  相似文献

The number of 360 individuals with an average initial weight of 87.8 ± 0.04 g was fed six diets containing graded levels of choline at 8.1 (control group), 602.5, 1119.0, 1511.5, 1970.0 and 4029.0 mg choline kg?1 diet, respectively, to investigate the effects of dietary choline on growth performance, lipid deposition and hepatic lipid transport for grouper, Epinephelus coioides. Dietary methionine was estimated to be 10.02 g kg?1, less than the requirement (13.10 g kg?1). The results of 10‐week study period indicated that the best values of specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion rate (FCR) and protein efficiency rate (PER) all occurred in 1119.0 mg choline kg?1 diet (< 0.05). The survival range increased from 8.1 to 1511.5 mg choline kg?1 diet and then plateaued. Dietary choline supplementation significantly decreased the liver lipid content of grouper (< 0.05), but the lipid content of the muscle tended to be increased firstly and then decreased (< 0.05). Liver choline concentration reached a plateau in 1511.5 mg choline kg?1 diet and then levelled off (< 0.05). Serum high density lipoprotein‐cholesterol (HDL‐C) and total cholesterol (TCHO) levels were firstly decreased and then increased with dietary choline supplementation. A reversed tendency, however, was found in triglyceride. Broken‐line regression analysis of SGR and liver choline content indicated that choline requirement of grouper was 1093.7 and 1579.7 mg kg?1 diet, respectively.  相似文献
