Background

Consuming moderate amounts of lean red meat as part of a balanced diet valuably contributes to intakes of essential nutrients. In this study, we merged phenotypic and genotypic information to characterize the variation in lipid profile and sensory parameters and to represent the diversity among 15 cattle populations. Correlations between fat content, organoleptic characteristics and lipid profiles were also investigated.

Methods

A sample of 436 largely unrelated purebred bulls belonging to 15 breeds and reared under comparable management conditions was analyzed. Phenotypic data -including fatness score, fat percentage, individual fatty acids (FA) profiles and sensory panel tests- and genotypic information from 11 polymorphisms was used.

Results

The correlation coefficients between muscle total lipid measurements and absolute vs. relative amounts of polyunsaturated FA (PUFA) were in opposite directions. Increasing carcass fat leads to an increasing amount of FAs in triglycerides, but at the same time the relative amount of PUFAs is decreasing, which is in concordance with the negative correlation obtained here between the percentage of PUFA and fat measurements, as well as the weaker correlation between total phospholipids and total lipid muscle content compared with neutral lipids. Concerning organoleptic characteristics, a negative correlation between flavour scores and the percentage of total PUFA, particularly to n-6 fraction, was found. The correlation between juiciness and texture is higher than with flavour scores. The distribution of SNPs plotted by principal components analysis (PCA) mainly reflects their known trait associations, although influenced by their specific breed allele frequencies.

Conclusions

The results presented here help to understand the phenotypic and genotypic background underlying variations in FA composition and sensory parameters between breeds. The wide range of traits and breeds studied, along with the genotypic information on polymorphisms previously associated with different lipid traits, provide a broad characterization of beef meat, which allows giving a better response to the variety of consumers’ preferences. Also, the development and implementation of low-density SNP panels with predictive value for economically important traits, such as those summarized here, may be used to improve production efficiency and meat quality in the beef industry.  相似文献

乙酰辅酯A∶二酰甘油酰基转移酶(DGAT1)是甘油三脂合成过程中唯一的关键酶,对动物机体脂肪代谢、沉积起重要作用,已成为研究奶牛泌乳性状和肉牛主要经济性状的重要候选基因之一。近年来,随着相关研究的不断深入,研究者普遍认为DGAT1基因对奶牛的产奶量、乳脂率、乳蛋白率、乳糖率、乳脂肪酸及空怀天数、输精次数、初配年龄等繁殖性状均有显著影响,且与肉牛体脂也存在相关性。作者主要介绍了DGAT1基因的遗传多态性及其与经济性状关联分析在中国各地区不同品种奶牛、肉牛、水牛和牦牛上的研究进展,指出该基因对奶牛的产奶性能及肉牛的肉质性状、生长性状具有重要的调控作用。但由于环境条件、品种及选育背景等因素影响,DGAT1基因遗传多态性对不同地区不同牛群体的经济性状影响不尽相同。因此,要将DGAT1基因实际应用在品种选育工作中还需明确该基因对研究群体的具体遗传效应,并结合其他候选基因进行综合分析。  相似文献

肉用西门塔尔牛与和牛杂交群体的肉品质分析   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
本研究旨在对肉用西门塔尔牛与杂交和牛两试验群体进行肉质性状比较,以期为肉品质性状遗传机制剖析及优质肉牛培育提供理论指导。收集肉用西门塔尔牛与杂交和牛两试验群体肉质性状表型数据,包括眼肌面积、剪切力、系水力、pH、肉色、脂肪颜色和大理石花纹等指标,进行相关性及差异性分析,从而综合评价两群体的肉品质。结果显示,两群体的脂肪颜色、系水力及剪切力呈现两两正相关;肉色与脂肪颜色、pH呈正相关,且肉色与pH呈显著相关(P < 0.05),而系水力与pH、肉色和大理石花纹呈负相关。在两试验群体间,和牛杂交群体的大理石花纹、眼肌面积、pH性状表现为极显著优于肉用西门塔尔牛(P < 0.01)。从性别比较来看,肉用西门塔尔牛母牛在大理石花纹、pH、剪切力等性状上极显著或显著优于公牛(P < 0.01;P < 0.05);而和牛杂交群体母牛的肉色和剪切力性状表现为显著或极显著高于公牛(P < 0.05;P < 0.01)。总体而言,和牛杂交群体的肉质性能优于肉用西门塔尔牛;群体内比较表明,肉用西门塔尔牛群体母牛肉质性能优于公牛,而和牛杂交群体母牛肉质性能低于公牛。  相似文献

以40 ̄90kg6个体重阶段莱芜猪和新莱芜猪为试验对象(n=6),研究肌肉脂肪酸组成的发育性变化及其与肉质特性的关系。结果表明:①随着体重的增大,莱芜猪肌肉总脂含量显著(P<0.01)增加;饱和脂肪酸(SFA)总量的比例有下降的趋势,不饱和脂肪酸(UFA)总量有增加的趋势,但差异不显著;在UFA中,多不饱和脂肪酸(PUFA)总量及亚油酸的比例显著(P<0.01)下降,油酸比例显著(P<0.01)增加;②总体上,莱芜猪肌肉中的SFA+单不饱和脂肪酸总量、总脂、棕榈酸、棕榈烯酸的比例显著高于新莱芜猪,而PUFA总量、硬脂酸、亚油酸、花生烯酸的比例显著(P<0.01)低于新莱芜猪。各体重阶段2个品种间的脂肪酸组成也存在着较大的差异;③莱芜猪肌肉中的PUFA总量与总脂、水分、失水率、大理石纹评分相关显著;总脂与水分、大理石纹相关极显著(P<0.01);SFA、UFA总量与大理石纹呈显著(P<0.05)相关。  相似文献

利用PCR-RFLPs方法分析牛DGAT2基因第5、6和7内含子内部的MspI和TaqI等11种酶切多态性,并在第6内含子检测到MspI-RFLPs和TaqI-RFLPs 2个多态位点。分析表明,该MspI-RFLPs普遍存在于鲁西牛、晋南牛、秦川牛、利木赞×鲁西牛、西门塔尔×延边牛、夏洛来×延边牛、安格斯×延边牛和三河牛、中国荷斯坦牛等9个试验群体中,TaqI-RFLPs只在鲁西牛、晋南牛和秦川牛3个地方品种和利木赞与鲁西牛的杂交群体中检测到,而且等位基因B(T碱基)在除鲁西牛外的群体中分布频率很低。统计分析表明,MspI-RFLPs与肉牛的体脂没有相关,但显著影响屠宰率,AA型个体的屠宰率显著高于AB和BB型(P<0.05)。DGAT2基因第6内含子MspI酶切多态性与三河牛群体平均乳脂率和平均干物质含量有极显著或显著的相关性(P<0.01和P<0.05),AA型个体的平均乳脂率和平均干物质含量均高于BB型个体的均值,但在荷斯坦牛群体中却没有得到相同的结果。研究分析了鲁西牛中TaqI-RFLPs的AA型与AB型个体之间屠宰性能的差异,结果表明这2种基因型与鲁西牛的屠宰性能没有显著的相关(P>0.05),有待在更大的鲁西牛群体中检验TaqI-RFLPs是否影响屠宰性状。  相似文献

The objectives of the study were to evaluate allelic frequencies and to test the association of polymorphisms in the calpastatin (CAST) and μ-calpain (CAPN1) genes with meat tenderness in 3 French beef breeds. A total of 1,114 Charolais, 1,254 Limousin, and 981 Blonde d'Aquitaine purebred young bulls were genotyped for 3 SNP in the CAST gene and 4 SNP in the CAPN1 gene. Two of these markers, 1 in each gene, can be found in Australian or American commercial genetic tests. Others have previously been reported in American studies or are newly evidenced SNP. The quantitative traits studied were Warner-Bratzler shear force and a tenderness score evaluated by trained sensory panels. All the SNP were informative in the 3 breeds. Associations of individual markers or haplotypes with traits were analyzed. The results differed in the 3 breeds. The G allele of a CAST marker (position 97574679 on Btau4.0) was found to exert a significant effect on the shear force (+0.18 phenotypic SD; RSD) and tenderness score (-0.22 RSD) in the Blonde d'Aquitaine breed. In the same breed, this marker was associated with another CAST SNP (position 97576054 on Btau4.0) such that the GA haplotype appeared to be associated with tougher meat. Two CAPN1 markers (positions 45221250 and 45241089 on Btau4.0) had a significant effect on both traits in the Charolais breed (from |0.11| to |0.25| RSD). In the same breed, these markers were associated with another CAPN1 SNP (position 45219395 on Btau4.0) such that the ACA and AGG haplotypes appeared to be associated with a tender meat and a tougher meat, respectively. Consequently, the present results indicate that the effects of the markers studied are breed-specific and cannot be extended to all Bos taurus breeds. Further studies are also required to identify other more appropriate markers for French beef breeds.  相似文献

 研究过氧化物酶体增殖激活受体α (PPARα) 基因第7外显子SNP位点与牛的部分胴体、肉质性状的相关性。以6个牛品种(秦川牛、南阳牛、郏县红牛、鲁西牛、安格斯、夏南牛) 共计717个个体为研究对象,采用PCR SSCP结合DNA测序方法对PPARα基因第7外显子进行SNP检测,并该SNP位点与108头秦川牛的部分胴体、肉质性状的相关性进行分析。结果发现在PPARα基因第7外显子的184位检测到C→T突变,在南阳牛、秦川牛、郏县红牛、安格斯、鲁西牛、夏南牛这6个群体中等位基因E/F的频率分别是0.225/0.775,0.151/0.849,0.125/0.875,0.123/0.877,0.070/0.930, 0.157/0.783;遗传学指标结果显示:秦川牛、郏县红牛、安格斯、鲁西牛和夏南牛这5个群体属于低度多态(PIC<0.25),南阳牛为中度多态(PIC=0.288);相关分析结果显示:该位点与秦川牛的背膘厚和胴体长两个性状显著相关,表现为FF基因型个体在背膘厚性状方面显著高于EE和EF基因型个体(P<0.05),FF基因型个体的胴体长显著高于EE基因型个体(P<0.05)。这一位点可能是影响牛背膘厚和胴体长的主效QTN或与之紧密连锁,可做为肉牛选育的候选分子标记。  相似文献

One hundred thirty-one pigs representing seven different breed groups (Minnesota No. 1 [M], Pietrain [P], Yorkshire [Y], and crosses PY, P[PY], P[NP], and P[YP]P) and three halothane gene genotypes (NN, Nn, and nn) were tested for breed, sex, and halothane gene (HAL) effects on growth and carcass performance. Breed effects were significant for all traits measured. Sex effect was significant for most traits except for meat scores. The HAL-locus linkage group explained 20 to 30% of the total variation for meat quality scores and 1 to 10% for meat quantity and growth traits. Pietrain x Yorkshire was the fastest growing breed group and had relatively good carcass quality. Pietrain and its related crosses had the most lean muscle but the lowest meat quality. The HN (HAL negative, genotype Nn) individuals within the PPY and PNP groups grew more quickly and had higher meat quality scores and less muscling than HP (HAL positive, genotype nn) individuals. A second experiment with 40 pigs showed significant differences in fat concentration in the loin muscle between breeds (M, Y, and P) and between genotypes within the NP population (NP[HP] and NP[HN]). The phenotypic correlation between fat percentage and marbling was .59 (P less than .01). The NP(HP) had higher water percentage in lean than the NP(HN). The water percentage was negatively correlated with meat quality scores of color, firmness, and marbling with phenotypic correlations of -.10, -.23, and -.57 (P less than .01), respectively.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

利用PCR-SSCP技术,对甘南牦牛、大通牦牛和天祝白牦牛的FASN基因第3内含子进行SNPs筛选,并将筛选到的突变位点与牦牛部分肉质性状进行相关性分析.结果发现,3个牦牛群体在第3内含子检测到g.5477 C→T的突变,由此产生3种基因型:HH、HG、GG.相关性分析表明,HH基因型和HG基因型个体的脂肪含量显著高于GG基因型个体(P<0.05).HH、HG、GG 3种基因型对失水率、熟肉率、pH24值和剪切力的影响差异不显著(P>0.05).  相似文献

Impact of MYOD family genes on pork traits in Large White and Landrace pigs   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Summary Porcine myogenic differentiation genes ( MYOD ) family play a key role in growth and muscle development and are therefore considered as candidate genes for meat production traits. The objective of the study was to investigate the polymorphisms at four loci belonging to the MYOD genes family and analyse their associations with variation in meat production traits in Czech pig breeds. To verify the associations between the polymorphisms and the selected meat traits, altogether 254 pigs, including full- and half-sibs, of Large White and Landrace breeds were tested. The studied meat characteristics were weight of neck, loin, shoulder and ham, lean meat content (LMC), backfat thickness, intramuscular fat (IMF), remission, dry matter content and test daily gain. Statistically significant associations were observed between MYOG gene and fat and neck weight, and between MYF5 gene and IMF and LMC. High significant differences were observed between genotypes AA and AB of MYOD1 in IMF and between genotypes AB and BB of MYF5 in loin weight.  相似文献

The bovine growth hormone gene (bGH) possesses three haplotypes, A, B and C, that differ by amino acid mutations at positions 127 and 172 in the fifth exon: (leucine 127, threonine 172), (valine 127, threonine 172) and (valine 127, methionine 172) respectively. The correlation between meat quality or carcass weight and these haplotypes was investigated in Japanese black cattle. Altogether, 940 bGH haplotypes were compared with respect to six carcass traits: carcass weight, longissimus muscle area, rib thickness, subcutaneous fat thickness, beef marbling score and beef colour. The frequency of the B haplotype was higher (0.421) than that of A (0.269) and C (0.311). High carcass weight and low beef marbling were associated with haplotype A (p < 0.05 and p < 0.01 respectively), whereas beef marbling was increased by haplotype C (p < 0.05). Estimated regression coefficient of the A haplotype substitution effect for carcass weight and beef marbling score were 5.55 (13.1% of the phenotypic SD) and -0.31 (17.0%) respectively. That of the C haplotype for beef marbling score was 0.20 (11.0%). The other traits showed no relationship to the haplotypes examined. The results of this investigation suggest that information pertaining to bGH polymorphisms in Japanese black cattle could be used to improve the selection of meat traits.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to compare the certain carcass and meat quality traits and also fatty acid composition of goat kids from indigenous breeds (Gokceada and Hair Goat) and dairy breeds (Saanen and Maltese). A total 40 male kids from Saanen, Gokceada, Maltese and Hair Goat breeds were collected from commercial farms after weaning. Kids were finished for 56 days with grower concentrate and alfalfa hay in the sheepfold until slaughter. Higher mean values were found for Saanen kids in terms of slaughter weight, hot carcass weight and real dressing compared with Maltese, Hair Goat and Gokceada kids under the same intensive conditions. On the other hand, there were no significant differences between breeds in terms of instrumental meat quality traits, except meat colour. Meat from Gokceada and Hair Goat kids had higher lightness and Hue angle values than Saanen kids after 24 h of blooming. High meat redness values were observed for Saanen kids after 0 and 1 h of blooming. Panellist appreciated cooked meat from Saanen and Maltese kids in overall acceptability. If the fatty acid composition of meat was taken into consideration, kids from Saanen and Gokceada breeds displayed better values, because of the lower ?SFA percentage and higher desirable fatty acids (C18:0?+?ΣMUFA?+?ΣPUFA) percentage than Maltese and Hair Goat kids. Our results indicate that male kids for Saanen which is dairy breed could be assessable for quality goat meat production.  相似文献

通过对牛生长性状、肉质性状和胴体性状指标的研究,分析3组性状组内及组间的相关性,揭示牛不同类型性状间的相互影响。测量记录327头牛3组性状的表型值,利用简单相关分析和典型相关分析对3组性状相关性进行深入研究。17个性状间共有74对存在极显著简单相关(P0.01),多数相关系数低于0.5。典型相关分析结果表明,3组性状间第一、第二和第三典型相关系数均达到极显著水平(P0.001),其中生长性状与肉质性状间、生长性状与胴体性状间、肉质性状与胴体性状间的第一和第二典型相关系数分别为0.525和0.350、0.993和0.623、0.698和0.394。结果显示,典型相关分析比简单相关能更准确、全面反映3组性状间的相关关系,为肉牛的选育提供科学依据。  相似文献

贵州地方猪种UCP3基因多态性与肉质性状的相关性分析   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
解耦联蛋白3(uncoupling protein 3,UCP3)是调节能量和脂肪代谢的重要因子。以商品猪(杂交猪)为对照,采用SSCP方法对贵州地方猪品种糯谷猪和萝卜猪的UCP3基因进行了多态性分析。结果表明:3个猪群体中,都检测到了3种基因型(AA、BB、AB),χ2独立性检验结果显示,3种基因型在3个群体间的分布不一致,糯谷猪和萝卜猪以AB基因型为主,杂交猪以BB基因型占优势,杂交猪与地方猪种之间的差异显著(P<0.01);对纯合基因型的UCP3基因片段进行克隆测序,证实AA基因型中UCP3基因外显子6编码区第842位碱基发生了单碱基突变(T→C),导致编码的氨基酸从苏氨酸突变为甲硫氨酸。进一步分析3种基因型与胴体和肉质性状之间的相关性,证明AB基因型个体的肉质最优,贵州地方猪种的大理石纹、肌内脂肪含量和嫩度3项指标显著优于商品猪(P<0.01),因此推测UCP3基因与贵州地方猪种的肉质性状具有相关性,可能是贵州地方猪种肉质性状的候选基因。  相似文献

Fourteen Hereford steers were used to compare carcass traits, meat quality, and fatty acid composition of beef from cattle grazing tall fescue infected with either wild-type (E+; n = 6) or novel, nil ergot alkaloid (AR542; n = 8) endophyte for 209 d. Average daily gain, live weight, and HCW were greater (P < 0.05) for AR542 cattle than for E+. No differences in LM color or pH were observed between AR542 and E+. Steaks from E+ cattle tended (P = 0.10) to have higher L* and b* than those from AR542 cattle at 0 d of display. Ground beef from E+ cattle also had higher (P < 0.05) L* than AR542 cattle, with no differences in a* or b* at 0 d of display. Color changes during display did not differ for both steaks and ground beef from E+ and AR542. Lipid oxidation levels increased (P < 0.05) during simulated retail display, but they did not differ between endophyte treatments. Adipose tissues from E+ cattle had a higher (P < 0.05) percentage of SFA, and a lower (P < 0.05) percentage of MUFA than adipose from AR542 cattle. Ground beef and i.m. fat had higher (P < 0.05) concentrations of SFA, MUFA, and cis-9, trans-11 isomer of conjugated linoleic acid, and lower (P < 0.05) concentrations of PUFA and PUFA:SFA ratio than s.c. fat. The n-6:n-3 fatty acid ratio did not differ among fat depots. Ergot-alkaloids were detected in s.c. adipose tissues, and alkaloid concentration was greater (P < 0.05) for E+ than AR542. Warner-Bratzler shear force values did not differ between endophyte types, but it decreased (P < 0.01) across the postmortem aging period. Conversely, sensory panel evaluation detected greater (P < 0.01) chewiness and lower (P < 0.05) juiciness for AR542 than for E+ steaks aged for 14 d. Although grazing cattle on tall fescue pastures infected with nil ergot alkaloid endophyte improved cattle performance, these results suggest that endophyte type has minor effects on carcass traits and meat quality of pasture-fed beef. Moreover, finishing cattle on tall fescue pastures showed the potential to enhance the fatty acid profile of beef from a human health perspective. Alkaloid concentration was greater (P < 0.05) in s.c. fat from E+ than AR542 (2.81 vs. 0.92 ppb; fresh-tissue basis). This is the first published report demonstrating the presence of alkaloids in beef tissues.  相似文献

The lipid content and fatty acid (FA) profile have an important impact in human health as well as in the technological transformation and nutritional and organoleptic quality of meat. A genome-wide association study (GWAS) on 144 backcross pigs (25% Iberian × 75% Landrace) was performed for 32 traits associated with intramuscular FA composition and indices of FA metabolism. The GWAS was carried out using Qxpak 5.0 and the genotyping information obtained from the Porcine SNP60K BeadChip (Illumina Inc., San Diego, CA). Signals of significant association considering a false- discovery rate (q-value < 0.05) were observed in 15 of the 32 analyzed traits, and a total of 813 trait-associated SNP (TAS), distributed in 43 chromosomal intervals on almost all autosomes, were annotated. According to the clustering analysis based on functional classification, several of the annotated genes are related to FA composition and lipid metabolism. Some interesting positional concordances among TAS and previously reported QTL for FA compositions and/or other lipid traits were also found. These common genomic regions for different traits suggest pleiotropic effects for FA composition and were found primarily on SSC4, SSC8, and SSC16. These results contribute to our understanding of the complex genetic basis of FA composition and FA metabolism.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to determine the influence of beef LM nutrient components on beef palatability traits and evaluate the impact of USDA quality grade on beef palatability. Longissimus muscle samples from related Angus cattle (n = 1,737) were obtained and fabricated into steaks for trained sensory panel, Warner-Bratzler shear force (WBSF), lipid oxidation measured by thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS), fatty acid, and mineral composition analysis. Pearson phenotypic correlations were obtained by the correlation procedure of SAS. Beef palatability data were analyzed by the GLM procedure of SAS with USDA quality grade as the main effect. Specific mineral concentrations did not demonstrate strong correlations with WBSF or sensory traits (r = -0.14 to 0.16). However, minerals appeared to have a stronger relationship with flavor; all minerals evaluated except Ca and Mn were positively correlated (P < 0.05) with beef flavor. Stearic acid (C18:0), C18:2, C20:4, and PUFA were negatively correlated (P < 0.05) with all 3 panelist tenderness traits (r = -0.09 to -0.22) and were positively correlated (P < 0.05) with WBSF (r = 0.09 to 0.15). The MUFA were positively correlated (P < 0.05) with panelist tenderness ratings (r = 0.07 to 0.10) and negatively associated (P < 0.05) with WBSF (r = -0.11). The strongest correlations with juiciness were negative relationships (P < 0.05) with C18:2, C18:3, C20:4, and PUFA (r = -0.08 to -0.20). Correlations with beef flavor were weak, but the strongest was a positive relationship with MUFA (r = 0.13). Quality grade affected (P < 0.05) WBSF, TBARS, and all trained sensory panel traits, except livery/metallic flavor. As quality grade increased, steaks were more tender (P < 0.05), as evidenced by both WBSF and sensory panel tenderness ratings. Prime steaks were rated juiciest (P < 0.05) by panelists, whereas Select and Low Choice were similarly rated below Top Choice for sustained juiciness. Quality grade influenced (P < 0.05) beef flavor, but not in a linear fashion. Although there were significant correlations, these results indicate tenderness, juiciness, and flavor are not strongly influenced by individual nutrient components in beef LM. Furthermore, the positive linear relationships between USDA quality grade and beef palatability traits suggest quality grade is still one of the most valuable tools available to predict beef tenderness.  相似文献

以莱芜猪(24头)、鲁莱黑猪(24头)和大约克夏猪(12头)共60头去势公猪为试验对象,研究宰后肌肉SOD活性与MDA含量的变化及其对肉质特性的影响。结果表明:①猪宰后肌肉随贮存时间的延长,肌肉SOD活性逐渐下降,MDA含量则逐渐上升;不同品种猪间的SOD活性和MDA含量,除MDA5 d差异不显著外(P0.05),其余均具有极显著的差异(P0.01),并且SOD活性始终是莱芜猪鲁莱黑猪大约克夏猪,MDA含量则是莱芜猪鲁莱黑猪大约克夏猪。②在肉质特性方面,不同品种猪间的肉色、滴水损失、系水率、烹饪损失、肌内脂肪(IMF)和多不饱和脂肪酸(PUFA)含量具有极显著的差异(P0.01),与大约克夏猪相比,莱芜猪和鲁莱黑猪肌肉具有鲜红的肉色、良好的持水性能、较丰富的IMF含量和较低的PUFA含量。③猪宰后肌肉SOD、MDA与持水性能、肉色、嫩度等重要肉质性状间存在不同程度的显著相关,证明SOD活性越高和MDA含量越低的肌肉,其系水力越高、肉色越鲜艳,并且肉质越细嫩。研究结果提示:猪宰后肌肉SOD通过消除或降低氧自由基而抑制脂质氧化,参与调控了肉质特性的形成。  相似文献

In this study,we used PCR-SCCP connect with ultrasonic vivo assay techniques, analysis of correlation between Leptin gene exon Ⅱ E2JW polymorphism and part meat quality traits of backfat thickness, eye muscle area, fat content, plot eye height in Xinjiang Brown cattle at ante-mortem, post-mortem. The results showed that Leptin gene exon Ⅱ E2JW site PIC was moderate polymorphisms (0.25 < PIC < 0.5), there were three genotypes of AA, AB and BB, AB genotype were the predominant genotype, B was the predominant allele. In addition, the forecast value of AB and AA gennotypes individual muscle fat content were inconsistent with actual value.Leptin gene exon Ⅱ E2JW was identified the theroy of a candidate gene loci of beef quality traits in Xinjiang Brown cattle.Genetic polymorphism and ultrasound measurements could not only fastly and accurately measure portion meat traits, but also as a means of marker-assisted selection.  相似文献

本试验采用PCR-SSCP与超声波活体测定相结合的方法,对Leptin基因外显子Ⅱ E2JW的SNP位点与宰前/宰后新疆褐牛背膘厚度、眼肌面积、脂肪含量、眼肌高度的部分肉质性状进行关联性分析。结果表明,外显子Ⅱ E2JW位点的PIC处于中度多态(0.25 < PIC < 0.5),E2JW多态位点存在3个基因型:AA、AB和BB,其中AB为优势基因型,B为优势等位基因。相关性结果表明,除预测值中AB、AA基因型个体的肌肉脂肪含量与实测值的分析结果不一致外,其他均表现出新疆褐牛Leptin基因外显子Ⅱ E2JW多态性与预测肉质性状和实测肉质性状关系的一致性。因此,Leptin基因外显子Ⅱ E2JW是影响新疆褐牛肉质性状的候选基因位点,基因多态性结合超声波活体测定技术不仅可以快速、准确地测量部分肉质性状,而且可作为分子标记辅助选择的一种手段。  相似文献
