Magellan probes Venus' surface by 12.6-cm-wavelength vertical and oblique radar scattering and measures microwave thermal emission. Emissivity and root-meansquare slope maps between 330 degrees and 30 degrees E and 90 degrees N and 80 degrees S are dissimilar, although some local features are exceptions. Inferred surface emissivities typically are approximately 0.85, but vary from approximately 0.35 at Maxwell to approximately 0.95 northeast of Gula Mons and other locations. Lowest emissivities appear in topographically high areas; this relation suggests that a phase change or differences in chemical weathering occur at about 6055-kilometer radius. Initial results indicate that there are significant variations in the surface scattering function.  相似文献

Selected observations made with the Viking infrared thermal mapper after the first landing are reported. Atmospheric temperatures measured at the latitude of the Viking 2 landing site (48 degrees N) over most of a martian day reveal a diurnal variation of at least 15 K, with peak temperatures occurring near 2.2 hours after noon, implying significant absorption of sunlight in the lower 30 km of the atmosphere by entrained dust. The summit temperature of Arsia Mons varies by a factor of nearly two each day; large diurnal temperature variation is characteristic of the south Tharsis upland and implies the presence of low thermal inertia material. The thermal inertia of material on the floors of several typical large craters is found to be higher than for the surrounding terrain; this suggests that craters are somehow effective in sorting aeolian material. Brightness temperatures of the Viking 1 landing area decrease at large emission angles; the intensity of reflected sunlight shows a more complex dependence on geometry than expected, implying atmospheric as well as surface scattering.  相似文献

A new high-resolution radar image of Beta Regio, a Venus highland area, confirms the presence of a major tectonic rift system and associated volcanic activity. The lack of identifiable impact craters, together with the apparent superposition of the Theia Mons volcanic structure on the rift system, suggest that at least some of the volcanic activity occurred in relatively recent geologic time. The presence of topographically similar highland areas elsewhere on Venus (Aphrodite Terra, Dali Chasma, and Diana Chasma) suggests that rifting and volcanism are significant processes on Venus.  相似文献

Observations of thermal radio emission from the surface of Venus, made by the Pioneer Venus radar mapper at a wavelength of 17 centimeters, show variations that are dominated by changes in surface emissivity. The regions of lowest emissivity (0.54 +/- 0.05 for the highland areas of Aphrodite Terra and Theia Mons) correspond closely to regions of high radar reflectivity reported earlier. These results support the inference of inclusions of material with high electrical conductivity in the surface rock of these areas.  相似文献

Observations of the surface of Venus, carried out by the Pioneer Venus radar mapper at a wavelength of 17 centimeters, reveal a global mean reflectivity at normal incidence of 0.13 +/- 0.03. Over the surface, variations from a low of 0.03 +/- 0.01 to a high of 0.4 +/- 0.1 are found, with Theia Mons, previously identified as possibly volcanic, showing a value of 0.28 +/- 0.07. Regions of high reflectivity may consist of rocks with substantial inclusions of highly conductive sulfides.  相似文献

Measurements of light-scattering made with an integrating nephelometer at Point Barrow, Alaska, and Mount Olympus, Washington, are in agreement in magnitude, and both sets of measurements also are in agreement with other measurements of light-scattering and turbidity made in remote locations. The Magellan Venus orbiter carries only one scientific instrument: a 12.6-centimeter wavelength radar system shared among three data-taking modes. The synthetic-aperture mode images radar echoes from the Venus surface at a resolution of between 120 and 300 meters, depending on spacecraft altitude. In the altimetric mode, relative height measurement accuracies may approach 5 meters, depending on the terrain's roughness, although orbital uncertainties place a floor of about 50 meters on the absolute uncertainty. In areas of extremely rough topography, accuracy is limited by the inherent line-of-sight radar resolution of about 88 meters. The maximum elevation observed to date, corresponding to a planetary radius of 6062 kilometers, lies within Maxwell Mons. When used as a thermal emission radiometer, the system can determine surface emissivities to an absolute accuracy of about 0.02. Mosaicked and archival digital data products will be released in compact disk (CDROM) format.  相似文献

试验证明,直接荧光诊断法是诊断柑桔黄龙病的一种快速、简便、准确的方法。 将健叶和黄龙病叶叶柄用保险刀片徒手切片,在透射式荧光显微镜下检查,可看到健叶叶柄的木质部导管细胞壁发黄色荧光,韧皮纤维细胞发绿色荧光,而病叶叶柄韧皮部中有1~多个鲜明的黄色或黄绿色荧光团块。这种特异性的荧光,在健叶柄韧皮部中是没有的,其它由病毒、类病毒、细菌、真菌等病原引起的病叶柄韧皮部中亦没有此种特异性荧光。  相似文献

用无色指甲油印迹法,对4种经济林树种叶片下表皮的气孔分布进行观察,借助Olympus DP71光学显微镜呈像。结果表明,4种经济林树种的气孔类型不一致,文冠果树的气孔明显不同于其他3种经济林的气孔,枣树、核桃树和山桃树的气孔类型相似,密度存在差异。  相似文献

一种基于图像分析提取作物冠层生物学参数的方法与验证   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
利用图像分析方法,通过准确识别冠层和背景像素进行棉花冠层生物学产量和叶面积系数估测。采用Olympus C740 Ultra Zoom数码相机拍摄棉花不同生育期冠层图像,在棉花冠层数码照片特征分析的基础上提出了棉花冠层图片计算机自动判读的方法,即混合采用图像色度(H)、绿光(G)、红光(R)灰度值构造提取条件,通过多重判断识别棉花冠层和背景,并编写了相应的计算机程序。利用该程序分析棉花不同施氮量下、不同生育期提取地面覆盖度参数与棉花生物学产量、叶面积系数间的关系,发现棉花冠层地面覆盖度指标可以有效预测棉花生物学产量和叶面积系数,二者间指数相关系数达到r=0.97以上,为极显著相关。  相似文献

试验研究了寒地粳稻(DS2#)成熟胚为受体的JQ700型基因枪转化,寒地粳稻(DS3#)下胚轴愈伤悬浮细胞与细胞团为受体的农杆菌LBA4404共培养转化,以及寒地粳稻(DS2GG#)未受精胚囊为受体的花粉管通道等转化途径的初步尝试。结果首先在基因枪转化途径上得到突破——成功地将NPTⅡ基因、GUS基因及抗虫基因(B.t)的DNA片段导入寒地粳稻(DS2#)成熟胚。以GUS基因组织化学法检测外源基因的表达,结果转化水稻细胞的短暂表达为阳性。经过一系列组织培养过程,诱导获得了绿色转基因水稻植株,取其叶片进行外源基因的稳定遗传与表达检测,结果GUS基因组织化学检测亦为阳性,Olympus倒置显微镜镜检结果——转基因水稻(DS2#)植株叶片的叶脉等维管组织中GUS基因表达更强烈。本文只是对转化途径进行研究,关于B.t基因的整合与表达的检测工作正在进行中  相似文献

将120羽1日龄固始鸡随机分为对照组和试验组,在饮水中添加硼,添加量分别为04、00 mg.L-1,试验期6周,研究硼中毒对固始鸡肾脏组织结构的影响.每周末每组取鸡10羽,颈动、静脉放血致死,立即解剖取肾脏,制成石蜡切片,HE染色,Olympus显微摄影系统观察并摄影.结果显示,试验组1-4周龄肾脏组织结构病理变化明显,血管球萎缩,结构模糊,甚至碎解,肾小囊腔变大,肾小管受损明显;5周龄起,试验组肾脏的组织结构呈现一定恢复状态,但仍可见一定数量结构受损的肾小体、肾小管和集合小管.结果表明,饮水添加400 mg.L-1硼对固始鸡肾脏的组织结构与功能具有明显的损伤和毒性作用.  相似文献

为研究豆饼有机肥对烤烟烟叶腺毛密度的影响,在山东省莒县、费县、临朐等3个地区分别用中烟100、NC55、云烟87 3个烤烟品种进行了田间对比试验。在烟叶成熟时用Olympus显微镜进行烟叶表面腺毛的观察计数并用MD30图像采集系统进行拍照。结果表明,以豆饼有机肥作基肥处理烤烟上、中、下3个部位的烟叶腺毛密度与当地常规施肥(以八福仙为基肥)处理相比均存在显著差异。腺毛密度跟烟叶品质有关,腺毛密度越大,相应产生的腺毛分泌物越多,烟叶致香物质越丰富,说明以豆饼替代八福仙做基肥的施肥方式在生产上是可取的。  相似文献

A radar interferometer was used to map unambiguously the surface reflectivity of Venus in the polarized mode at a wavelength of 70 centimeters. The observed region extended from 260 degrees to 30 degrees in longitude and from -60 degrees to 50 degrees in latitude with a surface resolution of approximately 3 degrees by 3 degrees . The result agrees well in most respects with earlier maps made elsewhere at shorter wavelengths and, in addition, discloses a number of new "features."  相似文献

At an ambient temperature of 25 degrees C, selective cooling of the area preoptica medialis to 24 degrees +/- 1 degrees C produced a significant decrease in food intake together with hyperthermia. Heating the same area to 43 degrees +/- 1 degrees C resulted in the opposite effects. At an ambient temperature of 35 degrees C, heating the area preoptica medialis to 43 degrees C resulted in a decrease in food intake despite concomitant hypothermia.  相似文献

The survival of Escherichia coli B/r WP2 (tryptophan-requiring) from ultraviolet irradiation when suspended in 0.067M phosphate buffer (pH 7) has been studied over the temperature range 22 degrees to -269 degrees C. In unfrozen suspensions there was no appreciable change in sensitivity between 22 degrees and -10 degrees C. The sensitivity in the presence of ice progressively increased by a factor of 7 when the temperature was lowered to -79 degrees C. Between -79 degrees and -196 degrees C the sensitivity decreased to less than four times the sensitivity at 22 degrees C and was not appreciably different at -269 degrees C. Evidence from experiments with bacteriophage T1 and E. coli WP2 HCR(-) (a strain unable to excise thymine dimers) indicates that a new, qualitatively different lesion, less amenable to repair, may replace the thymine dimer in E. coli irradiated at -79 degrees C.  相似文献

Radar observations of Mars with a surface resolution of 1.3 degrees in latitude and 0.8 degrees in longitude have been carried out during the opposition of 1971. With a precision in surface height measurement approaching 75 meters in regions of high reflectivity, it has been possible to measure the detailed characteristics of a number of craters. Many of these can be identified with craters shown in Mariner photographs of Mars. In addition, a scarp has been seen at 41 degrees west, 14 degrees south with an average slope of about 6 degrees extending over about 40 kilometers.  相似文献

 云南省分布的杜鹃花属常绿杜鹃亚属植物,具有较高的观赏价值。本文研究了4种常绿杜鹃亚属种子萌发特性,通过解剖镜和显微镜观察种子形态大小,用电子天平进行种子千粒重的测定,并统计了在不同光照条件和不同基质下4种杜鹃花的萌发率。结果表明:4种杜鹃花种子细小扁平,为椭圆形或长椭圆形,红褐色,种子表面具有明显纵条纹;千粒重比较:大白花杜鹃>露珠杜鹃>迷人杜鹃>马缨花杜鹃;种子萌发具有需光性,所测试种子在全光照条件和半光照条件下萌发率都很高,全黑暗下萌发率低甚至不萌发。播种基质影响种子萌发率,4种杜鹃花种子在腐叶土上的萌发率均高于混合土(山土+腐叶土)与山土,山土基质上不萌发。  相似文献

Arctic sculpins of the genus Myoxocephalus adapted to water at 5 degrees C escaped from warm water at 20 degrees , 16 degrees , and 12 degrees C when their deep-body temperatures increased from an initial 5 degrees C to about 8 degrees C. Heating parts of the forebrain with water at 25 degrees C circulating through a pair of thermodes astraddle rostral parts of the forebrain shortened the time spent in the warm water and lessened the incease in deep-body temperature before exit from the warm water. Cooling the forebrain to about -1 degrees C caused a large increase in the body temperature and sometimes suppressed the escape from the warm water.  相似文献
