以引进俄罗斯欧洲垂枝桦不同种源种子为材料,对不同种源种子形态及其萌发特性进行研究的结果表明:不同种源种子吸水量没有显著差异,而在种长、种宽、种厚、翅长、翅宽、千粒重、含水率、生活力、发芽率、发芽势和发芽指数存在显著差异;新西伯利亚种源种子最大、质量最重、发育最好、有生活力种子高达82.75%;采用混雪冷藏处理种子萌发能力最强,新西伯利亚种源种子发芽率、发芽势、发芽指数分别达到67.63%、55.41%、27.19;而对照种源采用低温冷藏处理种子萌发效果最差,其发芽率、发芽势、发芽指数分别为38.51%、32.42%、11.89。 相似文献

Seeds of Juniperus procera collected from five provenances across its geographic range in Ethiopia were subjected to cold-moist stratification at 5°C
or 10°C for 6–12 weeks. The effect of aqueous smoke solution in overcoming the light requirement for germination, and the
potential of visible (VIS) and near infrared reflectance (NIR) spectroscopy for sorting sound and insect-damaged seeds were
also investigated. Highly significant differences in germination were detected among provenances (P < 0.0001) and stratification periods (P < 0.0001), but not between temperature regimes (P=0.111). Seeds from the south and southeast distribution ranges had higher percentage germination after 6 weeks of stratification
than seeds collected from north, northwest and central ranges of distribution. The smoke treatment did not affect germination
regardless of whether the seeds were exposed to light. Exposure to light increased germination capacity three fold. Sound
and damaged seeds were distinguished with 90% accuracy using VIS + NIR spectroscopy. It can be concluded that dormancy in
juniper seeds varies with provenances, and cold stratification for 6 weeks alleviates dormancy in some seed lots. Tentatively,
smoke treatment seems ineffective in overcoming photo-dormancy in juniper seeds. VIS + NIR spectroscopy has demonstrated a
great potential for sorting damaged seeds, thereby upgrading seed lot purity. 相似文献

Effects of drought stresses induced by polyethylene glycol (PEG) (0.0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30%, with four replicates)
on germination of Mongolian pine (Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica) seeds produced in plantations (southern Keerqin sandy land) and natural forests (Hulunbeier sandy plain) were observed.
The results indicated that the seeds from both provenances did not germinate when PEG concentration was more than 25%. The
time of initial germination and that of its completion of stressed seeds from both provenances were delayed when compared
with the unstressed seeds. The germination capacity and germination rate of natural seeds were significantly higher than those
of plantation seeds for all treatment levels (P < 0.05). The mean growth rates of radicle and hypocotyl from natural seeds were significantly higher than those from plantation
seeds at all treatment levels below 20% PEG treatment (P < 0.05). The ratios of radicle to hypocotyl of 20% PEG treatment were significant higher than those of the corresponding
controls for both provenances (P < 0.05). These results suggested that Mongolian pine seeds/seedlings had stronger resistance to PEG drought stresses; 10%
PGE stress did not significantly influence germination. Natural seeds exhibited more resistance to PEG stress than plantation
seeds. It was concluded that drought stress on seed germination might be one cause of obstructed natural regeneration of Mongolian
pine plantations on sandy land. It is recommended that natural seeds be used for afforestation, and light drought stress (e.g.,
10% PEG stress) may be useful in improving seed germination and the growth of radicles and hypocotyls. 相似文献

Variations in seed germination of Hippophae salicifolia with different presoaking treatments 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Mature seeds of H. salicifolia, collected from five provenances (i.e. Hanuman Chatti, Helang, Lata, Rambara and Janggal Chatti) in west Himalaya, India,
were treated with stratification (at 4°C for 15, 30 and 60 days) and in different concentrations of GA3 (5, 10, 20 mM), KNO3 (50, 100, 200 mM) and Thiourea (50, 100, 200 mM) solution to determine the variations in seed germination. Results reveal
that the germination rates of seeds from different provenances under different pre-sowing treatments are significantly increased
compared to those in control (24%–30%). The seeds treated with Thiourea (100 mM) have highest germination rate (76%–83% for
different seed sources), followed by those (63%–71% for different seed sources) pretreated with stratification (4°C, 30 days).
GA3 treatment significantly shortens the mean germination time (MGT) and improves seed germination percentage. Considering
the practical applicability and cost effectiveness, thiourea (100 mM) and stratification (at 4°C) treatments for seed germination
are recommended for mass multiplication through seeds of H. salicifolia in village/forest nurseries of the west Himalaya, India. 相似文献

[目的]探讨不同种源家系岭南槭种子形态、种子萌发与幼苗生长的特性,分析它们与种源地地理气候因子之间的关系。[方法]对广东省岭南槭天然分布区的3个种源18个家系的种子表型性状、发芽特征、幼苗生长性状和叶色表现进行方差分析和相关性分析。[结果]表明:肇庆黑石顶(HSD)种源的种子最厚、最宽,深圳七娘山(QNS)种源的种子最薄、最窄,惠州南昆山(NKS)种源的种子最长,种子千粒质量最高;翅长与翅宽呈极显著正相关(P0.01),种子千粒质量与发芽率显著正相关(P0.05);岭南槭1年生幼苗地径与苗高成正比,幼苗生长受种源地的地理气候因子影响;在色彩表现方面,QNS3、QNS13家系的明度L*值较大,QNS13色相b*值显著高于其他家系,NKS14家系幼苗的色相a*值最大。[结论]种子千粒质量越高,发芽率越高;幼苗的地径苗高生长受种源地的地理气候因子影响。NKS14家系幼苗红叶特征最明显,色彩表现较好。 相似文献

为了确定不同浸种处理对柳叶沙棘种子萌发变异性影响,印度西部五个种源(Hanurnan Chatti,Helang,Lata,Rambara和Janggal Chatti)的成熟的柳叶沙棘种子分别浸在不同浓度的赤霉素(GA3,50、100、200mM)和硫代尿素(50、100、200mM))溶液中,进行冷层积(4℃)处理15,30和60天。结果表明:被预处理的种子萌发率比对照的提高24.66%~35.34%。经硫代尿素(100mM)和冷层积(4℃)处理30天的预处理后,种子萌发率最高,分别为63%~71%和76%~83%。赤霉素(GA3)可以明显缩短种子萌发率时间。鉴于考虑到实际操作和费用问题,经硫代尿素(100mM)和冷层积处理(4℃)是最好的组合处理之一,可促进柳叶沙棘种子繁殖,并可应用于印度西部的喜马拉雅地区的林木育种。 相似文献

Imbibitions, energy test and accelerated ageing in primed and non-primed seeds of Peltophorum dubium

Peltophorum dubium seeds were set to imbibe with four treatments, soaked with solution Captan 0.2% under 10and 27℃,PEG 6000 -1.0 MPa under 10 and 27℃. For each treatment there were four replicates with 40 seeds incubated in 9-cm Petri dishes with double filter paper moistened with testing solution. The imbibition curves showed that the final weight increase were from 70% to 150% in the treatments when imbibition entered a lag phase. Seeds were tested for effects on germination of five treatments: control group (nonprimed), primed with PEG6000 -1.0 MPa at 10 and 27℃, primed with Captan 0.2% at 10 and 27℃. For each treatment, there were three sub-treatments: seeds were soaked in distilled water for 12, 24 and 36h before the energy test. Germination percentages of nonprimed seeds and primed in PEG 27℃ soaked in distilled water during 12 h were the highest, reaching 100%. The lowest germination percentage occurred primed seeds with PEG6000 27℃ and soaked in distilled water during 36 h, which was only 52%. Germination mean time of primed seeds in PEG at 10℃, soaked 24 h was 1.08 days, mean time of primed seeds in PEG at 27℃ soaked 12 h was 2.42 days. Accelerated ageing results showed low or no germination after ageing 72 h. Control group had a higher germination percentage and seeds were more resistant to deterioration than those in primed groups, both in Petri dish (27℃) and vermiculate (room temperature). 相似文献

We examined the effect of thermal treatment at two temperatures (60 s of 90°C dry heat and 60 min in 40°C hot water) versus control conditions on the germination of oriental spruce (Picea orientalis (L.) Link.) seeds originating from different subalpine provenances. Cutting test results showed that there was wide variation (between 10% and 90%) in filled seed rates. The results revealed that highest germination yield was attained via the hot water treatment. The maximum germination percentages were observed in seeds from “tree 3” in the first tree collective of provenances 1 (85.33 ± 5.77 control; 88.67 ± 7.02 via the hot water treatment; 82.00 ± 10.58 via the dry heat treatment) and 3 (70.67 ± 17.24 control; 88.00 ± 4.00 via the hot water treatment; 86.67 ± 11.37 via the dry heat treatment). The mean germination percentages were significantly different (p-value < .05): percentage values were 32.57% in provenance 1, 23.22% in provenance 3, 12.25% in provenance 4, and 2.82% in provenance 2. Mean germination time of seeds from different provenances and experiencing various pretreatments showed significant variation. 以6处不同种源的南方红豆杉种子为研究对象,对种子千粒重、优良度、生活力、发芽率和发芽势进行比较分析的结果表明:不同种源的南方红豆杉种子千粒重范围为86.0—90.25g、优良度为85.0%-90.0%、有生活力的平均值为80.2%;发芽率的范围为64.6%-79.4%、发芽势的平均天数为15.17天;综合分析可知,九江市和桑植县的发芽特性最好,采用40%温水浸种20min,0.5g/kg赤霉素溶液浸种24h后,翌春播种后发芽率最高,为89.33%。 相似文献

The extent of genetic variation in seed length, width, thickness, weight and germination percentage and seedling traits among
and within 12 African provenances of Faidherbia albida was examined. The regional provenances showed a consistent variation
in seed length, seed width and seed weight: the southern African provenances had the largest seeds and west African provenances
the smallest. Seedling height, stem collar diameter and true leaf number differed (P = 0.05) among the provenances 90 days
after germination. The seedlings from west Africa were shorter, had smaller stem collar diameter and fewer leaves. In contrast,
the southern and east African provenances had taller seedlings with bigger seedling diameter and more leaves per seedling.
Seedling traits did not show clear-cut divisions between southern and east African provenances, but the west African provenances
formed a distinct group. Positive correlations were found in some of the seed characteristics and seedling height among provenances,
which could be an important criterion for early provenance selection. Greater variation was observed for seed and seedling
traits among than within provenances suggesting that selection among provenances might result in rapid genetic gain for the
traits studied.

An investigation of seed germination and early seedling growth ofEucalyptus microtheca was based on seed collection from 10 widely separated provenances in Australia. Genetic variation of seed germination and
early seedling growth was observed among a series of provenances whose natural habitats range from different climatic condition.
In the ten provenances, both the model of seed relative germination percentage and the model of seed total germination percentage
fitted Logistic regression [y=a/(1+exp(-ex+b))]. In comparison with provenances from four high temperature (mean annual maximum
temperature >30.0 °C; mean annual minimum temperature >17.0 °C) areas, six low temperature (mean annual maximum temperature
<30.0 °C; mean annual minimum temperature <17.0 °C) areas showed the fast germination rate and the high total germination
percentage. For each provenance we have 45 seedlings equally divided into three watering levels (100%, 50%, and 25% of field
capacity), and studies on relationship between early seedling growth and climatic factors of the natural habitat of provenance.
In control treatment, height growth of the seedling has been associated with intrinsically the driest quarter precipitation
in the seed collection areas of provenance. In all the treatments, length growth of the biggest leaf of the seedling was related
to mean annual maximum temperature and mean annual minimum temperature in origin of provenance. In contrast, basal diameter
growth of the seedling was related to mean annual minimum temperature of the seed collection areas in water stress treatment.
From an ecological viewpoint, the fast germination rate and the high total germination percentage of the seed and rapid early
growth of the seedling appear to be favourable adaptations to the climatic conditions prevailing in the natural habitat of
provenance.

[目的]研究不同种源文冠果(Xanthocerassorbifolium Bunge)的种子形态特征及在山东省安丘地区苗期性状差异,了解文冠果不同种源变异特征,为文冠果在山东安丘地区引种和遗传改良提供参考。[方法]以来自山东、河南、内蒙古、辽宁、黑龙江、河北、新疆、陕西等地的27个种源的文冠果种子为研究对象,对其种子形态指标进行测定,并在山东省安丘市开展种源试验。[结果]研究发现:不同种源间文冠果表型性状均存在极显著差异(P0.01),且这些差异可以稳定遗传(遗传力均大于0.9);苗期苗高与种源地降水、年均气温及地径与降水之间呈极显著正相关(P0.01),苗高与种源地纬度、年均日照及地径与年均日照呈极显著负相关(P0.01),种子长、种子宽、种皮厚均与海拔呈极显著负相关(P0.01)。[结论]文冠果表型性状存在丰富的变异,且受较强遗传控制;文冠果苗期性状变异主要受降水、年均气温、年均日照3个环境主导因子的影响,种子性状变异主要受海拔的影响。综合种源苗期生长状况,初步筛选出山东东营、山东安丘、内蒙古库伦、辽宁关山和辽宁海城5个适合安丘地区育苗的速生种源。 相似文献

以引进欧洲垂枝桦不同种源为对象,并以本地白桦种源作为对照,研究引进欧洲垂枝桦不同种源的种子形态特征、发芽特性和在黑河地区的苗期生长表现。结果表明:引进欧洲垂枝桦不同种源在种子长度、种子宽度、种翅长度、种翅宽度、千粒重、发芽率、发芽势、发芽指数、活力指数、苗高、地径、地上生物量、地下生物量和全株生物量存在显著差异,而且引进欧洲垂枝桦不同种源这些指标都显著高于本地白桦对照种源,综合分析表明,引进欧洲垂枝桦新西伯利亚种源在种子形态特征、发芽特性和在黑河地区的苗期生长表现均优,可作为黑河地区欧洲垂枝桦育苗的首选种源。 相似文献
