The results of a growth experiment are explained which was carried out as basis for the control slaughtering method and for N-balance experiments with hybrid fattening lambs of both sexes and of three different genetic constructions in comparison with male merino mutton lambs. The animals were kept individually on perforated floor and received pelleted fattening feed for lambs ad libitum. In the live weight range between 15 and 30 kg the male hybrid lambs reached significantly higher live weight gains than the merino mutton sheep, the former tending towards higher feed intake and lower energy expenditure. The male hybrid lambs showed a significantly higher live weight gain and a significantly lower energy expenditure than the female animals of equal live weight whereas there were no differences between the sexes in feed intake.  相似文献

A total of 90 lambs (fattening hybrids of either sex of three different genetic constructions and male merino meat sheep) were butchered at the beginning (9...16 kg live weight) or at the end (29...33 kg live weight) of a growth experiment. Total body and the meat of carcass, cutlet and loin were analysed. Significant differences between the genotypes could only proved in the crude ash content. The female animals showed a significantly higher content of fat, dry matter and energy as well as a significantly lower content of crude ash--at the end of the experiment also of protein--in the total body than the male animals. The content of nutrients and energy in the total body could be much more precisely derived regressively from the corresponding content values in the meat of the carcass than from the values of cutlet and loin.  相似文献

In a developmental study of lambs, the following question was investigated: What is the influence of gender, bodyweight, and feeding intensity on the nutritional value of the carcass as well as the body tissues? This study was conducted with 108 lambs (50% males and 50% females) of the merino breed. The animals were fattened according to three feeding intensity levels ("high","medium", and "low") using varied feed concentrates and hay in their daily rations. They were slaughtered at body weights of 30, 45 or 55 kg. Six male and six female lambs were slaughtered at a bodyweight of 18 kg which was the initial weight of the fattening lambs. The left half of the slaughtered animal was carved according to the guidelines provided by the DLG (German Agricultural Society). For each cut, an examination of the meat(muscle), fatty tissue and bone/tendons was carried out and the percentages of these tissue components were determined for the whole joint. The samples of the tissues as well as the cuts were analysed for dry matter, crude protein, total fat level and crude ash. The carcasses of the male lambs showed higher protein content and lower fat levels. With increasing feeding intensity level and bodyweight, the differences in these nutritional components between the sexes rose. The muscle tissue (meat) of the lamb carcasses at the usual slaughter weight of 45 kg showed relatively low fat content (less than 10%). Six animals each out of 12 female fattening hybrids (150 X (L X E] were given rations containing 17 or 45% crude protein resp. 4 periods of growth feeding alternated with 5 periods of maintenance feeding in the live weight range between 33 and 146 kg. The feeding level did not have an influence on the level of digestibility. From the experiments with 17% crude protein in the ration 1004 and from those with 45% crude protein 947, on average 977 kJ metabolizable energy per kg LW0.62 in the maintenance periods and 980 in the growth periods were derived as maintenance requirement of metabolizable energy. These values for maintenance requirement are by 50% higher than those in previous experiments of our work team. In contrast to expectations, energy maintenance requirement did not grow due to the increase of the protein content of the rations. The utilization of metabolizable energy for retention was 73% for rations with a normal protein content and 66% for those with a high protein content. The partial utilization of metabolizable energy for fat retention was ascertained as 83% and as 49% for protein retention by means of multiply regressive evaluation.  相似文献

Six fattening boars each, hybrids of line 150(150 X (L X E] received rations with 17 and 45% crude protein. In the live weight range of 36 to 167 kg, 5 periods of growth feeding alternated with 4 periods of maintenance feeding. Compared with maintenance level the nutrition level of 2.7 did not have an influence on digestibility. Nitrogen retention was only insignificantly influenced by the level of protein supply. The maintenance requirement of the animals used was by 50% higher than in previous experiments made by our work team. On average it amounted to 1,017 KJ metabolizable energy per kg LW0.62, i.e. to 1,063 for those animals fed with rations containing 17% crude protein and to 986 for those animals receiving 45% crude protein in their rations. The utilization of metabolizable energy for energy retention amounted to 75% for rations with 17% crude protein and to 70% for rations with 45% crude protein. The partial utilization of metabolizable energy for fat retention was ascertained as 90% and for protein retention as 53% by means of multiply regressive assessment.  相似文献

In the framework of two rearing experiments with female merino meat sheep, measurings of the consumption and ruminating behaviour were carried out. Animals raised with a lot of roughage ruminated longer both in their lamb and young sheep periods. An increased quota of roughage in the ration increased both the ruminating time and the number of chewing moves and cycles significantly for young sheep. The dry matter intake capacity of animals raised with high quotas of roughage was by 14 and 8% resp. higher in the lamb period and by 26 and 18% resp. higher in the young sheep period. Rations with 24% chopped and dried green fodder and 11 ... 14% resp. crude fibre brought about a period of more than 6 hours ruminating and a minimum of 22,000 ruminating movements per day for lambs. Young sheep raised with high quotas of roughage showed an increased ruminating activity in subsequent periods of sole feeding with roughage.  相似文献

The main objective of this study was to investigate the relationships between changes in plasma leptin concentration and feed intake or bodyweight in female and castrated male lambs with fattening. Four female and four castrated male lambs were used and were fed roughage and concentrate supplemented with beef tallow ad libitum for 28 weeks. Although the feed intake and bodyweight increased with fattening in both the castrated male and female lambs, they decreased at 24–28 weeks in the female lambs. At the end of fattening, the crude fat content in the muscle (loin) of the female lambs was significantly higher than in the castrated male lambs (P < 0.05), while the crude protein content in the loin and fillet meat was higher in the castrated male than in the female lambs (P < 0.05). The plasma leptin concentration showed high values at a later stage of fattening (P < 0.05). In the female lambs the plasma insulin concentration increased at a later stage of fattening (P < 0.05) and was positively correlated (P < 0.0001, r = 0.78) with plasma leptin. Plasma metabolites (glucose, nonesterified fatty acid, total cholesterol and triglyceride) concentrations were also changed with fattening. Plasma total cholesterol was positively related to plasma leptin, more closely in the female than in the castrated male lambs (in females, r = 0.63, P < 0.001; in males, r = 0.38, P < 0.01). The accumulation of body fat was probably accelerated by the consumption of a lot of concentrate feed supplemented with treated beef tallow and by the stimulation of insulin with fattening. Consequently, the plasma leptin concentration increased, especially toward the end of the fattening period. The decrease in feed intake and bodyweight after the 24th week of fattening was possibly caused by an increase in leptin that is involved in the homeostatic regulation of body energy by regulating appetite.  相似文献

Energy retention was measured alternately at 12 barrows, fattening hybrids of line 150 (150 X (L X E], at maintenance level (4 periods) and growth feeding (5 periods) in the live weight range between 32 and 134 kg, 6 animals each received rations with 17 and 45% crude protein resp. during the complete experimental period. The nutrition level did not have a significant influence on the digestibility level of the feed. The experiments carried out at maintenance level showed that the maintenance requirement of metabolizable energy in the experiments with 17% crude protein in the ration was 941, in the experiments with 45% crude protein in the ration 913kJ ME/kg LW0.62 and on average 927 kJ ME/kg LW0.62. Including the experiments with growth feeding one can conclude from a regression analysis, largely in agreement with the measured values, that 955 kJ ME/kg LW0.62 is the energy maintenance requirement. These values of maintenance requirement are by 50% higher than those derived from previous measurings. In contrast to expectations, the increase of protein concentration in the ration did not result in a higher energy maintenance requirement. The utilization of metabolizable energy for retention amounted to 74% for rations with a normal protein content and to 65% for those with a high protein content. The multiply regressive evaluation showed a utilization of metabolizable energy for fat retention of 79% and for protein retention of 53%.  相似文献

Subsequent to a growth experiment with intensively fattened lambs the value of the carcasses of 4 animals each from 7 groups was determined. The control groups with mixed fattening feed for lambs and the groups with wheat and barley mixtures containing urea showed higher carcass yields, net gains, fat percentage and padding, dry matter and fat content of the carcass and lower quotas of important cuts as well as a lower crude protein content in the carcass than groups with grain without urea and groups with straw. This is due to the higher weight gains of the first-mentioned groups. There were no significant differences in the carcass characteristics between the animals of the control group and the grain-urea groups. The carcass quality of the male lambs was better than that of the female ones.  相似文献

In order to verify the fattening performance, slaughter and carcass characteristics and to investigate the changes in some meat quality traits of Karayaka lambs weaned at 3 months of age, 39 lambs (23 males and 16 females) were used as experimental animals. The lambs were fed a concentrate mixture and alfalfa hay (120 and 168 g crude protein and 2,700 and 1,951 ME/kg, respectively) for a period of 60 days of fattening period. Male lambs were superior (p < 0.05) to female lambs in terms of daily weight gain (270.4 vs. 205.4 g; SEM = 9.46), hot and cold carcass weights (16.7 and 16.0 vs. 14.1 and 13.4 kg, respectively; SEM = 0.35), intra-muscular fat ratios (1.9% vs. 2.5%; SEM = 0.12) and dripping loss of semitendinosus muscle 3 days postmortem (8.1% vs. 10.2%; SEM = 0.36). The relative weights of some organs, the meat quality traits (pH, cooking loss, shear force, CIELab colour characteristics) and proximate analyses (dry matter, protein and ash) of longissimus dorsi and semitendinosus muscle samples from lambs were not affected by sex (p > 0.05). Dripping loss, pH and colour characteristics were affected by storage time (p < 0.05). These results provide a basic understanding of performance and meat quality of Karayaka sheep which may have potentials in improving sheep production using an indigenous sheep breed in Turkey.  相似文献

为了评价杜泊羊与巴彦淖尔多胎羊杂交后代的肉品质,以杜泊羊×巴彦淖尔多胎羊杂交F1代羔羊和新疆维吾尔自治区库尔勒市当地绵羊羔羊为研究对象,采用常规方法测定2种羔羊肌肉组织的理化指标、营养成分含量以及矿物质含量,利用统计学方法比较二者相关指标的差异。结果表明,杜泊羊×巴彦淖尔多胎羊杂交F1代羔羊肌肉组织的pH45 min值和熟肉率显著高于当地绵羊羔羊(P<0.05),剪切力和失水率显著低于当地绵羊羔羊(P<0.05);杂交F1代羔羊肌肉中的粗灰分含量显著低于当地绵羊羔羊(P<0.05),粗蛋白和粗脂肪含量均显著高于当地绵羊羔羊(P<0.05);杂交F1代羔羊肌肉中的铁含量极显著高于当地绵羊羔羊(P<0.01),且铜、锰、镁、钙、锌含量均显著高于当地绵羊羔羊(P<0.05)。综上表明,杜泊羊×巴彦淖尔多胎羊杂交F1代羔羊的肉品质优于当地绵羊羔羊。  相似文献

本试验表明,湖羊具有一母哺双、三羔的潜力,以60日龄断奶窝重测量,哺三羔(40.88公斤)、哺双羔(29.50公斤)分别是哺单羔(15.62公斤)的2.62倍和1.89倍。断奶后继续肥育120天,增重速度、屠宰率、净肉率和眼肌面积都是公羔优于母羔。全期试验表明湖羊多羔肥育可获得较高的经济效益。肉质分析指出,湖羊肥羔肉含高蛋白、低脂肪,氨基酸齐全,总含量高,婴儿必需氨基酸、成人必需氨基酸及赖氨酸占总含量的百分率分别高达50.89%、37.35%和11.85%。  相似文献

本研究以湖羊和澳湖F1代羔羊(澳洲白绵羊♂ × 湖羊♀)为研究对象,对其生长性能、屠宰性能、体组成和肌肉品质进行比较分析,综合评估湖羊与澳湖F1代羔羊育肥效果.随机选择湖羊和澳湖杂交F1代羔羊各61只,在相同的饲养环境和日粮下进行育肥和性能测定.饲养试验结束后立即屠宰,对试验羊只的生长性能、屠宰性能、体组成和肌肉品质等指标进行系统测定和比较.结果显示,湖羊和澳湖F1羔羊育肥期初始体重(0 d)、末期体重(60 d)无显著差异(P>0.05),全期平均日增重(ADG)、平均日采食量(ADFI)无显著差异(P>0.05),但在育肥前期(0~20 d)湖羊的ADG极显著高于澳湖F1代羔羊(P<0.01),而在育肥中期(20~40 d)和后期(40~60 d)澳湖F1代羔羊的ADG均显著高于湖羊(P<0.05).澳湖F1代羔羊的胴体胸围、臀围和眼肌面积显著大于湖羊(P<0.05).澳湖F1代羔羊的心脏重、肝脏重、肺脏重及其相对重(宰前活重)均极显著高于湖羊(P<0.01),但皮毛重、肾周脂重、肠系膜重、尾脂重及其相对重(宰前活重)均极显著低于湖羊羔羊(P<0.01).湖羊的熟肉率和屠宰结束后45 min肌肉pH极显著大于澳湖F1代羔羊(P<0.01),但澳湖F1代羔羊肌肉失水率、屠宰结束后24 h肉色b*2值和l*2值极显著优于湖羊(P<0.05).总体上来看,湖羊早期生长发育较快,但澳湖F1代羔羊后期生长潜力较大,且胴体性能优于湖羊,胴体脂肪沉积比湖羊少,肉用性能明显提高.  相似文献

旨在研究杜泊羊与巴彦淖尔多胎羊杂交F1代的生产性能,为新疆库尔勒地区引进巴彦淖尔多胎羊进行肥羔生产和肉羊杂交利用提供依据。试验比较了2017年与2018年同一饲养管理水平下杜泊羊(父本)与巴彦淖尔多胎羊(母本)杂交后代(杜×巴F1代)和新疆库尔勒地区本地绵羊自然交配所生产的羔羊(对照组羔羊)之间在生长性能、屠宰性能等方面的差异,同时对巴彦淖尔多胎母羊和当地母羊的繁殖性能进行了对比分析。结果表明,2017年与2018年,杜×巴F1代羔羊的3月龄及6月龄体重极显著(P<0.01)高于对照组羔羊,日增重显著(P<0.05)高于对照组羔羊;除2018年6月龄杜×巴F1代羔羊体长、胸宽极显著(P<0.01)高于对照组羔羊外,2017年与2018年6月龄屠宰时杜×巴F1代羔羊的体高、胸深、胸围、管围等体尺指标均显著(P<0.05)高于对照组羔羊;2017年和2018年,杜×巴F1代羔羊的胴体重分别比对照组羔羊提高了21.07%和22.90%,差异均极显著(P<0.01);2017年与2018年,杜×巴F1代羔羊的净肉重、净肉率极显著(P<0.01)大于对照组羔羊;巴彦淖尔多胎母羊的难产率极显著(P<0.01)高于本地绵羊,羔羊成活率极显著(P<0.01)低于本地绵羊,但其受胎率显著(P<0.05)高于本地绵羊,产羔率、双羔率分别比本地绵羊提高了24.72%和3.41倍,差异均极显著(P<0.01)。综合以上结果可以得出,杜×巴F1代羔羊的生长性能、屠宰性能均优于对照组羔羊,继承了父本杜泊羊优良的生长发育性能;母本巴彦淖尔多胎羊保持了对环境的良好适应性和多胎性。在该地区引入巴彦淖尔多胎母羊,并与杜泊公羊进行杂交,充分利用杜×巴F1代羔羊的杂种优势,将明显提高该地区肉羊养殖的经济效益。  相似文献

In an individual feeding experiment (150-500 kg live weight) the influence of the polyether antibiotic Monensin on the fattening, slaughtering and retention performances of crossbreeding dairy bulls (genotype 31) and fattening hybrids (genotype 61) was ascertained. The supplementation of the polyether antibiotic on average resulted in a decrease by approximately equal to 11% of the dry matter and energy expenditure per kg weight gain due to a lower feed intake and a higher live weight gain. The slaughtering parameter investigated and the chemical composition of the empty body remained uninfluenced. The daily nutrient retention values were positively influenced by the Monensin supplementation since the fattening bulls of the test group required 30 days less to achieve the attempted fattening weight. The additional retention of protein, fat and energy per animal and day in the dairy bulls approximately equal to 10.9; 13.5 and 16.4% and in the fattening hybrids 1.9; 3.2 and 2.6%. Due to a higher energy retention at a lower level of feed and energy intake after Monensin supplementation an average of approximately equal to 11.3 and 15.4% resp. more of the consumed digestible protein and the digestible energy resp. were retained in the empty bodies. One can conclude that Monensin improved the utilisation of feed energy; obviously the effect of the polyether antibiotic is due to its influence on processes in the rumen or directly or indirectly on metabolism.  相似文献

试验旨在研究相同营养水平日粮对不同杂交肉牛生产性能及肉品质的影响.以10月龄10头西杂、10头夏杂、6头安杂牛为试验材料,以美国NRC肉用小公牛营养需要为饲养标准,进行255 d强度育肥试验,试验后进行屠宰及肉质分析.测定三种杂交牛的日增重、胴体重、屠宰率、牛肉脂肪酸、粗蛋白质、氨基酸等含量,并进行差异比较.结果发现各分析指标在各组间虽有差异,但均未达显著水平,综合分析后认为安格斯杂交牛的育肥效果最好,其次是西门塔尔杂交牛,最后是夏洛来杂交牛.  相似文献

4 digestibility trials (4 male sheep per group) and 2 growth trials were carried out with 24 (V 1) and 32 (V 2) fattening lambs to investigate the effect of abundant oral Fe doses on the digestibility of crude nutrients in a ration of barley + dried green feed and on the results of fattening and carcass yields. Fe supplementation (less than 1400 mg per sheep/day) did not significantly change the digestibility coefficients of crude nutrients. Increasing Fe levels in the concentrates decreased the rates of liveweight increase and food consumption in both growth trials. Well-established statistical evidence was provided for the decline in absolute carcass yields resulting from the lower weight of the lambs at the end of the fattening period after Fe supplementation.  相似文献

为探讨高寒牧区杜泊、萨福克与地方品种杂种F1代羔羊育肥性能,本试验用黑头杜波、黑头萨福克羊的细管冻精授配当地高原型藏羊,在羔羊早期补饲、自由采食精料补充料的饲牧条件下,观察高寒牧区杂种F1代羔羊的适应性及育肥效果。结果表明:在同一饲牧条件下,杜×藏、萨×藏F1代羔羊比藏羊,初生重分别提高35.31%和24.33%;3、5月龄体重分别增加6.3 kg(P<0.01)、5.50 kg(P<0.01)和9.55kg(P<0.01)、8.19 kg(P<0.01);0~5月龄日增重分别增加56 g和49 g;5月龄收入分别高257.85元和221.13元,且5月龄育肥收入明显高于3月龄。以杜波、萨福克羊与当地藏羊杂交F1代适应性好,杂种优势明显。杜×藏、萨×藏是适宜当地藏羊优质商品肉羊生产的优秀杂交组合。  相似文献

In two growth experiments with 30 lambs per group the influence of urea (1-2% of the ration) and straw (20-30% of the ration) on the performance was studied under conditions of intensive fattening. The content of native crude protein in the rations varied between 10.1 and 18.4% of the DM. In experiment 1 the lambs of the two groups which received mixed feed for fattening lambs without urea on average consumed with 1.02 and 1.11 kg DM resp., 696 and 757 EFUcattle resp. and 173 and 189 g crude protein resp. per animal and day. The groups with wheat or barley and urea consumed 1.06 and 0.96 kg DM resp., 714 and 627 EFUcattle resp. and 209 and 155 g crude protein resp. Their weight gain of 247 g/animal and day was 24% and that of 230 g resp. 26% higher than that in the control groups without urea. The lowest dry matter intake (0.91 and 0.82 kg resp.) was shown by the animals of the groups which received wheat or barley without urea. In the second experiment the control group achieved an average daily weight gain of 327 g at an expenditure of 2.24 kEFUcattle/kg weight gain. Despite a partly higher dry matter intake, the daily EFUcattle intake was between 12.2 and 24.5% lower in the straw groups and energy expenditure increased between 12.0 and 27.8%. Urea supplements of between 1 and 2% improved dry matter, EFUcattle and crude protein intake and thus weight gain.  相似文献
