分娩后奶牛发生子宫炎症的概率高达40%,子宫炎引发的不孕症是制约奶牛业生产效率的主要因素之一,造成了巨大经济损失。对于子宫炎的治疗主要有传统的子宫内灌注给药和系统给药方法。近年来,气囊子宫冲洗法逐渐被应用,其利用专用子宫冲洗管,将气囊置于奶牛子宫,注入液体冲洗子宫后,人工把液体及炎性物质全部排出,冲洗干净后投药。本研究利用323头被诊断为子宫炎的奶牛,进行气囊法与常规法治疗效果、气囊所放位置和冲洗用药对治疗效果的影响研究。结果表明,与常规法相比,气囊子宫体冲洗法提高了子宫炎奶牛的配种率,气囊法配种率达60%以上,而常规法配种率仅为35%左右。气囊子宫体冲洗法治疗效果明显优于子宫角放置法,气囊子宫体冲洗法配种率达60%以上,而气囊子宫角冲洗法治疗后其配种率仅为40%左右,且子宫体冲洗法节省时间、易于操作,安全系数高。3种药物组合都取得明显效果,生理盐水+土霉素子宫注射剂法的配种率达70%以上,露它净+宫得康法的配种率达60%以上,只用生理盐水冲洗的配种率也达55%以上。因此,与子宫内灌注给药、气囊子宫角放置冲洗等方法相比,气囊子宫体冲洗法显著提高了子宫炎奶牛的配种率,适用于在规模化生产中进行应用。这一新方法的推广对提高奶牛生产效率具有重要意义。  相似文献

子宫内膜炎是奶牛中一种常见的产科疾病,它可引起奶牛不孕,给奶牛养殖带来严重经济损失。引起奶牛子宫内膜炎的主要原因可概括为理化性和生物性二类,病原菌的侵入可通过上行性感染和下行性感染的途径造成子宫炎的发生,主要致病菌有葡萄球菌、大肠埃希菌、链球菌等。直肠检查和内窥镜检查仍是奶牛子宫内膜炎的常规的诊断方法,但仍有待于探索简便准确的新诊断方法。恢复子宫张力,促进子宫血液循环和炎性分泌物排出,抑制或消除子宫内感染病菌是子宫内膜炎的主要治疗原则,常用的治疗方法有冲洗子宫,全身疗法,抗生素和激素疗法以及中药治疗等。创建新的治疗和诊断方法,开发疗效好的药物将是提高奶牛子宫内膜炎诊疗水平的努力方向。  相似文献

子宫内膜炎是奶牛产后普遍发生的一种生殖疾病,可导致奶牛产犊间期延长、产奶量降低、淘汰率增加、治疗期间奶源废弃、管理及治疗成本增加,也是导致奶牛不孕症的重要原因之一。目前国内外防治奶牛子宫内膜炎的诊断技术和治疗方法众多,主要有阴道镜检查、Metricheck装置评估、子宫细胞学检查、抗生素疗法、中药疗法、中西医结合疗法、激素疗法、臭氧新型疗法等诊疗技术。阴道镜检查是一种可视化检查方法,利用内窥镜直观评估奶牛阴道内分泌物性状确定子宫内膜炎严重程度;Metricheck装置是根据阴道内分泌物含量和性状,设置不同评分值评估产后奶牛子宫内膜炎和繁殖性能;子宫细胞学检查通过子宫细胞刷、灌洗或活检技术确定子宫内膜细胞和中性粒细胞(PMN)的比例,设定奶牛产后不同时期PMN最佳阈值诊断子宫内膜炎;抗生素疗法通过宫内灌注、皮下注射、静脉注射抗生素等途径治疗奶牛子宫内膜炎,治疗成本低,见效快,是目前治疗奶牛临床子宫内膜炎最常用的疗法;中药疗法筛选不同组分的中药复方制剂,通过调节奶牛机体免疫系统,改善子宫内血液循环,抑制致病菌繁殖,促进子宫恢复正常生理机能;中西医结合疗法兼具中药辩证治疗的优点和西药见效快的特点,临床治疗奶牛子宫内膜炎具有广泛应用价值;激素疗法中前列腺素通过诱导黄体溶解,消除黄体酮产生和免疫抑制,刺激子宫复旧,降低产后奶牛长期子宫感染和炎症的风险;臭氧新型疗法是将臭氧制作成泡沫制剂、油制剂等产品通过宫内灌注杀灭病原菌。这些诊疗技术在治疗奶牛子宫内膜炎的过程中均取得了不同程度的效果,对评估产后奶牛繁殖性能和生产性能具有良好的指导作用。文章通过介绍这些诊疗技术在奶牛子宫内膜炎中应用的研究进展,以期为该病的防治提供参考。  相似文献

Subacute ruminal acidosis in dairy cows occurs when ruminal pH is below about 5.5. However, the exact threshold level of ruminal pH affecting cow health is still in debate. This investigation was carried out in 505 cows within 31 farms. The postpartum disorders, including dystocia, retained placenta, anestrus, cystic ovary, metritis, clinical mastitis and lameness, were analyzed. Ruminal pH, serum beta‐hydroxy butyrate (SBHB), serum urea nitrogen and body condition score (BCS) were measured once during the 3 to 6 weeks postpartum, while BCS was determined once more at 1 week before calving. Ruminal pH was determinded by ruminocentesis technique. The ruminal pH was evaluated to study the association with BCS, SBHB and postpartum disorders using linear regression in a generalized linear mixed model with farm as a random effect. The results show that low ruminal pH was associated with dystocia, metritis and lameness. Moreover, a low ruminal pH can be found in cows with a high loss of BCS after calving and also in cows with low SBHB postpartum. These findings confirmed the feasibility of the ruminocentesis technique and the association of low ruminal pH on various postpartum disorders at the individual cow level. However, the consequences of low ruminal pH on dairy cow health still needs more exploration for a better understanding of the physiological mechanisms.  相似文献

重组溶葡萄球菌酶对奶牛子宫内膜炎的疗效研究   总被引:3,自引:2,他引:1  
为研究重组溶葡萄球菌酶对奶牛子宫内膜炎的疗效,以青霉素钠、土霉素为对照药物,子宫内灌注给药,分别在河北、内蒙古、广州、上海奶牛场试验,共治疗急、慢性子宫内膜炎病例359头,抽检249头奶牛子宫分泌物进行细菌学分离鉴定与统计分析。结果表明,大肠杆菌、金黄色葡萄球菌、链球菌、化脓棒状杆菌是4种检出率较高的病原菌。重组溶葡萄球菌酶治疗组与土霉素、青霉素钠比较,按400、800、1200U/次的三个浓度剂量治疗,隔日投药1次,连续用药3次,800、1200U/次的浓度剂量显效率超过80%,显著优于青霉素钠的疗效(P〈0.01),与土霉素注射液组相当。追加用药次数可进一步提高奶牛子宫内膜炎的痊愈率。重组溶葡萄球菌酶能有效治疗由金黄色葡菌球菌、链球菌、化脓棒状杆菌等革兰氏阳性菌感染的子宫内膜炎,治愈后受孕率在70%左右。尤其是对抗生素治疗无效的慢性子宫内膜炎同样具有很好的疗效。因此,用重组溶葡萄球菌酶治疗奶牛子宫内膜炎安全、高效。  相似文献

This paper reviews the causes, impact, treatment, and prevention of retained placenta (RP), metritis, and endometritis in dairy cows. The occurrence of each of these diseases largely depends on immune function in the transition period. Retained placenta affects 5-10% of calvings and greatly increases the risk of metritis and endometritis. More field studies are needed to validate criteria for treatment of metritis, but cows with at least two of RP, fever, dullness, and fetid uterine discharge appear to merit treatment with systemic antibiotics. Clinical endometritis affects 15-20% of cows at 4-6 weeks postpartum; an additional 30-35% have subclinical endometritis between 4 and 9 weeks postpartum. Under specific conditions, treatment of cows with endometritis improved pregnancy rate. Systematic use of prostaglandin F(2alpha) at 5 and 7 weeks postpartum may improve pregnancy rate. The economic benefit of efforts to identify and treat endometritis is herd-specific.  相似文献

对农七师123团奶牛场16头诊断为不孕症的奶牛用常规方法进行了治疗,其中11头奶牛患子宫内膜炎,另外5头患卵巢静止。对石河子大学动物科技学院试验站4头诊断为不孕症的奶牛在采用常规子宫注射中药同时进行了电针辅助治疗,其中2头奶牛为子宫内膜炎,另外2头为卵巢静止。对这两组奶牛进行了治疗效果的对比。结果表明,采用电针辅助治疗的4头患不孕症的奶牛全部有效,受胎率是75%。而只采用常规治疗方法组的总有效率为75%,受胎率是62.5%。两者比较差异不显著(P〉0.05),但是前者的疗程较短。  相似文献

Based on information from USDA National Animal Health Reporting System early State pilot studies and more recent national studies, the cost of reproductive diseases and conditions was estimated for beef and dairy cattle. We estimate the total yearly cost of female infertility, abortions/stillbirths, dystocia, retained placentas, and metritis/pyometra to be $441 to $502 million for beef producers and $473 to $484 million for dairy producers with an aggregate national total of approximately $1 billion annually. This loss is over six times more costly than that resulting from respiratory diseases. Three-fourths of the cost for reproductive diseases and conditions can be attributed to female infertility and dystocia and the failure to produce a healthy calf that will survive the first 24 h of life. Aggregate national costs are roughly evenly divided between beef and dairy; per cow costs are more than three times greater for dairy cows ($52.60) than for beef cows ($14.00). Approximately equal national costs are attained because there are more than three times more beef cows than dairy cows. One factor contributing to the greater cost for dairy cows is lost milk production associated with dystocia and retained placentas. Lost milk production accounts for one-third of the costs associated with reproductive diseases and conditions in dairy cattle. We conclude from this review and our resulting estimates that focusing on developing strategies to increase the probability of conception, minimize dystocia, and produce a healthy calf that survives beyond the first 24 h of birth must continue to receive high priority in both dairy and beef cattle management and research.  相似文献

Delayed conception is defined as an interval of greater than 90 days postpartum before a cow becomes pregnant again. In this study, the risk factors for delayed conception in Korean dairy herds were determined by evaluating several reproductive factors in individual cows. The following data was recorded from 1,012 pregnancies in eight dairy herds (designated A-H) from July 2001 to June 2006: herd, cow parity, repeated animal (cows included 2, 3, or more times), calving season, calving condition (abnormal partus), postpartum disorders (retained placenta, metabolic disorders, metritis and ovarian cysts) and conception. Logistic regression was used to evaluate the effects of these factors on delayed conception. A stepwise procedure was used to obtain the appropriate model (α = 0.05), which revealed the herd, metritis and ovarian cysts to be significant risk factors for delayed conception. The odds ratio showed that the likelihood of delayed conception increased by 3.3 and 2.0 fold for each incidence of metritis and ovarian cysts, respectively. Delayed conception was significantly more likely in 2 herds, in herd A by 2.0 fold and in herd B by 2.4 fold, compared with herd H. These results suggest that the prevention of postpartum metritis and ovarian cysts, as well as improved herd management, will be needed to maintain a short interval between calving and conception in Korean dairy herds.  相似文献

AIM: To describe the gross pathology, bacteriology and histopathology of the reproductive tracts of dairy cows that failed to conceive or maintain pregnancy. METHODS: The reproductive tracts of 105 cows that were not pregnant at the end of the seasonal breeding programme were retrieved following slaughter. The tracts were examined grossly, both horns of the uterine lumen were swabbed for bacteriology, and tissue was collected from each horn and the body of the uterus for histopathology. Grossly enlarged uteri and tracts containing purulent vaginal content were excluded. Histopathology was performed on three sections of uterine tissue from each of three cows in which no gross pathological changes were detected and from which no bacteria were isolated, from three cows in which no gross pathology was detected but from which bacteria were isolated, and from three cows in which gross pathological changes were detected but from which no bacteria were isolated. RESULTS: Thirty-six (34%) cows had one or more gross lesions which involved the ovary, uterine tube, uterus or vagina. Bacteria were isolated from the uteri of 22 (21%) cows. Isolates included Arcanobacterium pyogenes (n = 1), Escherichia coli (n = 1), Fusobacterium spp (n = 1), Haemophilus somnus (n = 5), Streptococcus acidominimus (n = 12), S. bovis (n = 2), S. uberis (n = 1) and S. salivarious (n = 1). In only five cows were both gross pathology and bacteria detected. There was no relationship between the isolation of bacteria and the diagnosis of gross pathology of the uterus. There were no differences in the degree of histopathological changes in the uteri from the three groups of cows examined, and lesions present were minor. CONCLUSIONS: Gross pathological changes and intra-uterine bacteria were found in 34% and 20% of cows, respectively, but the correlation between the two was poor. Histopathological changes were unremarkable, suggesting the bacteriological findings were coincidental, that causative agents of infertility were not present at the time of examination, or that unrelated causes such as nutritional anoestrus may have been responsible for the failure of some cows to conceive.  相似文献

The epidemiology and genetic variability of the most common reproductive diseases were examined. The data set consisted of the lactation records of 70,775 Finnish Ayrshire dairy cows. Each cow was under observation for 2 days before for 305 days after calving. Lactation incidence rates (%) were: dystocia (DYST) 0.9, retained placenta (RTPL) 4.5, metritis (METR) 2.3, anoestrus and suboe&trus (ESTR) 5.2, and ovulatory dysfunction (CYST) 7.0. These diseases formed 33 % of all first treatmetns by veterinarians during farm visits. The occurrence of DYST, RTPL and METR was lowest in parity 2. ESTR decreased and CYST increased with parity. Cows calving during the dark season (September-February) had a higher risk of ESTR, METR and CYST (odds ratios (OR) 2.2–1.1) and a lower risk of RTPL (OR 0.9) than those calving during the light season (March-August). The increase in herd milk yield was positively associated with the occurrence of reproductive disorders. The cows with a history of parturient paresis had a higher risk of contracting CYST, RTPL and METR (OR 6.6–1.8), the cows with retained placenta of contracting metritis (OR 5.1), the cows with metritis of contracting ESTR and CYST (OR 1.5–1.7), the cows with mastitis of contracting METR and ESTR (OR 2.0–1.3) and the cows with ketosis of contracting METR, ESTR and CYST (OR 2.7–1.6). Heretabilities were determined for 5 diseases and for infertility in general. Heritability estimates for parity 2 were: DYST 2 %, RTPL 3 %, METR 7 %, ESTR 12 %, CYST 12 %, and infertility in general 5 %. While the global use of in vitro-produced embryos in dairy cattle is on the rise, several technical aspects of embryo transfer procedures have not yet been optimized. This study compares the effects of inducing ovulation using human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) versus gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) at the end of a 5-day progesterone(P4)-based protocol for oestrous synchronization on the pregnancy rate of lactating dairy cow recipients of in vitro-produced embryos. Fresh embryos were transferred on Day-seven post-oestrus to ovulating cows receiving GnRH or hCG (groups GnRH and hCG, n = 60 each). Pregnancy was diagnosed by ultrasound on Day 28 post-oestrus. Forty-nine cows became pregnant: 16 in GnRH (26.7%) and 33 in hCG (55%). Taking GnRH-treated cows as reference, the odds ratio for pregnancy of hCG-treated cows was 3.3 (p = .002). In conclusion, hCG treatment given at the end of a 5-day P4-based protocol for oestrous synchronization improved the pregnancy rate in lactating dairy cows receiving an in vitro-produced embryo.  相似文献

Haemophilus somnus was consistently isolated from vaginal discharges of dairy cows submitted from field cases of vaginitis, cervicitis and/or metritis in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands during the period July 1995 - December 2000 and from the East Griqualand area in November/December 2000. The purulent vaginal discharges, red granular vaginitis and cervicitis, and pain on palpation described in these cases was very similar to that reported in outbreaks of H.somnus endometritis syndrome in Australia, Europe and North America. In all the herds involved in these outbreaks, natural breeding with bulls was employed. Although there was a good cure rate in clinically-affected animals treated with tetracyclines, culling rates for chronic infertility were unacceptably high. Employment of artificial insemination in these herds improved pregnancy rates in cows that had calved previously, but many cows that had formerly been infected failed to conceive.  相似文献

试验旨在研究中药复方健宫散治疗奶牛子宫炎对部分血液及代谢指标的影响,探讨中药复方对产后子宫炎作用机理,为早期预防奶牛子宫炎提供理论依据。选取年龄、体重和胎次相近的18头奶牛按临床症状、阴道分泌物的性状、B超检查分为3组,患病组(患子宫炎不治疗)、正常组(未患子宫炎)和治疗组(患子宫炎治疗),每组6头。治疗组灌服中药健宫散,患病组与正常组灌服生理盐水。灌药期为7 d。分别于用药前、用药中、用药后1、4、7、11、15、20 d采集血液,通过ELISA方法检测用药前后3组奶牛部分血液及代谢指标。结果表明,健宫散能显著提高血液中的红细胞数、血红蛋白含量、淋巴细胞数(P<0.05),显著降低血液中的白细胞数、粒细胞数、β-羟丁酸、尿素氮、天门冬氨酸转氨酶含量(P<0.05)。由此可见,中药健宫散能调节部分血液和代谢指标,提高机体抗炎、免疫能力,改善机体的代谢功能,更好地预防和治疗子宫炎。  相似文献

采用体细胞计数(SCC)法对杨凌某奶牛场中60头不同胎次和泌乳时间奶牛隐性乳房炎进行检测,对引起乳房炎的可能诱因进行调查分析,研究该场奶牛隐性乳房炎的发病规律,为本病的防控提供参考。结果表明,受检奶牛隐性乳房炎的检出率为43.3%。1胎~2胎奶牛隐性乳房炎检出率为40.0%,3胎~4胎为46.7%,隐性乳房炎的检出率有随胎次增加而升高的趋势;泌乳时间少于200 d的泌乳牛隐性乳房炎检出率为27.6%,200 d~300 d的为36.4%,300 d~400 d的为41.7%,超过400 d的为50.0%,提示奶牛隐性乳房炎有随泌乳期升高的趋势。本调查显示,奶牛隐性乳房炎的发生与胎次和泌乳时间有显著的相关性,饲养管理和卫生条件是乳房炎发生的重要诱因。  相似文献

为了研究适用于高产奶牛的同期发情程序方案,将218头膘情良好、子宫和卵巢发育正常的不同胎次荷斯坦牛随机分成两组,试验1组为106头,试验2组为112头,分别采用两种同期程序(0.5.6.8和0.7.8.9)进行处理,测定情期受胎率,用于评价两种同期程序对高产奶牛的适用性。结果表明,试验2组情期受胎率平均为41.96%,显著高于试验1组的平均情期受胎率30.19%(P<0.01);将参与试验的218头牛根据胎次分成1胎组、2胎组和3胎及以上组,分析不同胎次对输精效果的影响,2胎情期受胎率最高为40.68%,与1胎情期受胎率存在显著差异(P<0.05),3胎及以上的情期受胎率最低为28.79%,与2胎、1胎存在极差异显著(P<0.01)。  相似文献

The recurrence risk ratios of eight periparturient and reproductive traits of dairy cows were evaluated from 8782 pairs of lactations of 5600 Israeli Holstein dairy cows. The respective crude and summary recurrence risk ratios, using the Mantel and Haenszel technique, were 2.1 and 2.0 for twinning; 16.7 and 4.4 for parturient paresis; 3.1 and 2.0 for ketonuria; 1.7 and 1.2 for retained placenta; 1.9 and 1.7 for primary metritis; 2.0 and 1.8 for inactive ovaries (P for all traits0.01). No summary recurrence risk was associated with stillbirth or with pregnancy rate to first service. The relative components of the intrinsic and extrinsic factors are evaluated from the different values of the crude and summary recurrence risk ratios.  相似文献

Arcanobacterium pyogenes is considered to be the most relevant bacterium involved in the establishment of puerperal uterine infection in cattle due to its persistence in utero, resistance to treatment and synergic action with Gram negative anaerobes. Once the infection is established, A. pyogenes is responsible for the persistence of the infection. The objective of this study was to characterize A. pyogenes field isolates recovered from the uterus of cows with either normal puerperium or clinical metritis, in an attempt to identify factors that might be associated with the establishment and persistence of the disease. This characterization was based on BOX-PCR typing and on screening of eight virulence factor genes (plo, nanP, nanH, cbpA, fimA, fimC, fimE, fimG) by conventional PCR. Finally, a relationship between clonal types, virulence factors and presence of disease was investigated. A. pyogenes clonal types identified from isolates recovered from the uterus of postpartum dairy cows differed among herds. Although some clonal types were strictly associated with the development of clinical metritis, others were identified from isolates recovered from normal puerperium and clinical metritis cows. Moreover, the presence of the eight virulence factor genes was not related with the ability to induce clinical metritis, suggesting that the type of A. pyogenes may not be a determinant factor in the development of the disease. We suggest that host intrinsic factors, the synergism between A. pyogenes and other bacteria and the differential gene expression of virulence factor genes may play a more relevant role in the establishment of puerperal uterine infections.  相似文献
