Plant production under salinity requires increased capacity for K+ homeostasis. For this purpose, supplementary K2SO4 in the nutrient solution and grafting on a tolerant rootstock were employed in two experiments to test whether grafting, potassium and their interactions can alleviate salinity stress in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.). In Exp-ion, plants were cultivated for 122 days to compare different ionic compositions: EC 9 dS m−1 in ECall (by macro-nutrients) and in ECNaCl (by 64.2 mM NaCl), EC 12 dS m−1 in ECK (ECNaCl + 25.8 mM K+). Exp-K+ was established to compare K+ concentrations of 6, 16 and 36 mM at 150 mM NaCl. In both Experiments, ‘ZS-5’, selected as a salt sensitive cultivar, was either self-grafted or grafted onto the cultivar ‘Edkawi’, reported as salt tolerant. Yield and growth, minerals, gas exchange, soluble sugars, and proline were analyzed. Different ionic treatments affected almost all characteristics considered while differences between rootstocks were rarely observed. No pronounced differences were found in shoot growth, yield and gas exchange between ECall and ECNaCl. ECK did not show any salinity alleviative effects but inhibited even growth compared with the other treatments. In Exp-K+, 16 mM K+ increased plant growth, leaf soluble sugars and proline concentrations. 36 mM K+ did not further reduce upper leaf Na+ although leaf K+ concentration increased significantly. The results indicated that the response of tomato plant to NaCl stress was principally attributed to the osmotic component in Exp-ion, excessive K+ showed no mitigating effect on fruit yield and shoot growth. However, 16 mM K+ in the root environment enhanced the salt adaptive capacity of plants stressed at 150 mM NaCl. The use of the tolerant rootstock resulted in no ameliorative effects, owing to its susceptibility to blossom-end rot, failure in enhancing photosynthesis, and ineffectiveness of restraining the long-distance transport of Na+.  相似文献

To investigate the feasibility of using salt tolerant rootstock to increase fruit yield and quality of cucumber under NaCl stress, a greenhouse experiment was carried out to determine fruit yield, leaf relative water content, fruit quality, and mineral composition of cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L. cv. Jinchun No. 2), either self-grafted or grafted onto the commercial salt tolerant rootstock Figleaf Gourd (Cucurbita ficifolia Bouche) and Chaofeng Kangshengwang (Lagenaria siceraria Standl). Plants were grown in a substrate culture (peat:vermiculite:perlite = 1:1:1, v/v) and irrigated with half-strength Hoagland solutions containing 0, 30, or 60 mM NaCl. The results showed that salinity significantly reduced fruit yield of cucumber owing to a decrease both in mean fruit weight and fruit number. Rootstock had no significant effect on leaf relative water content. Plants grafted onto Figleaf Gourd and Chaofeng Kangshengwang had higher fruit number, marketable and total fruit yield than those of self-grafted plants under 0, 30, and 60 mM NaCl, which could be attributed to, at least in part, the higher K+ but lower Na+ and/or Cl contents in the leaves. Salinity improved fruit quality by increasing fruit dry matter, soluble sugar, and titratable acidity contents of all the plants, but had no significant effect on vitamin C content. In comparison to the self-grafted plants, plants grafted onto Figleaf Gourd and Chaofeng Kangshengwang had an overall improved fruit quality under NaCl stress owing to an increase in contents of soluble sugar, titratable acidity, and vitamin C, and a decrease in the percentage of non-marketable fruit and Na+ and/or Cl contents of fruits in comparison to the self-grafted plants, mainly under 60 mM NaCl. Overall, it is suggested that the use of salt tolerant rootstock could provide a useful tool to improve fruit yield and quality of cucumber under NaCl stress.  相似文献

During the last few years, leaf water potential has been a useful tool in controlling vine water status. However, the time of measurement that could best explain short- and long-term vine responses remains a matter of discussion. The objectives of this work were to study the relationship between vine water status and vine performance and to determine what time of day leaf water potential is best correlated to physiological performance and agronomic vine response. The assay was conducted in Madrid, Spain. Plant material was Cabernet-Sauvignon (Vitis vinifera L.) grafted onto SO4. Three irrigation treatments were established: T1 was non-irrigated, and T2 and T3 were irrigated with a constant fraction of the ETo, k = 0.45 and 0.2, respectively. Vine water status was monitored through predawn, midmorning and noon leaf water potential. Their relationships with net CO2 assimilation rate, vegetative growth rate, yield components and must composition at harvest were studied for 3 consecutive years. Shoot growth rate and net CO2 assimilation rate were better correlated with midmorning and noon leaf water potentials – Ψm and Ψn – than predawn leaf water potential – Ψpd – but all of them were significant. Shoot growth rate was zero for Ψpd = −0.48, Ψm = −1.12 and Ψn = −1.18 MPa. Berry size was better correlated with the water stress integral for predawn (SΨpdSΨpd) although the water stress integral for midmorning (SΨmSΨm) and noon (SΨnSΨn) performed quite well. No relationship was found between the water stress integral and TSS, total acidity or pH. Leaf water potential performed as a good parameter for determining both vine water status and agronomic response, but not for evaluating must composition.  相似文献

Exposure of Satsuma mandarin (Citrus unshiu Marc.) and Navel orange (Citrus sinensis Osbeck) plants to high temperature (38 °C) led to reductions of the net photosynthetic rate (Pn), the photorespiration rate (Pr), the quantum efficiency CO2 assimilation (ΦCO2ΦCO2), the maximal photochemical efficiency of PS2 (Fv/Fm), the photochemical quenching (qP) and the quantum efficiency of PS2 photochemistry (ΦPS2), whereas the minimal fluorescence yield (Fo) and the non-photochemical quenching (qN) increased. Increase in the value of Pr/Pn and ΦPS2/ΦCO2ΦPS2/ΦCO2 was attributed to the greater decrease in Pn and ΦCO2ΦCO2 than Pr and ΦPS2. In addition, the superoxide radical (O2) production, the H2O2 concentration and the activities of antioxidant enzymes such as the superoxide dismutase (SOD, EC 1.15.1.1), the ascorbate peroxidase (APX, EC 1.11.1.11), the dehydroascorbate reductase (DHAR, EC 1.8.5.1) and the catalase (CAT, EC 1.11.1.6) were raised. On the other hand, the chlorophyll concentration in leaves decreased during high temperature stress. These results suggest that decline in Pn related to inactivation of PS2 reaction centers may be due to the enhanced number of active oxygen species in the citrus leaves. The water–water cycle may play a role in limiting the degree of photodamage caused by high temperature. Lower O2 production rate, the H2O2 concentration and the antioxidant enzymes activity were observed in high temperature tolerant species of citrus. The exogenous active oxygen scavenger ascorbic acid (Asc) enhanced the ability to clear the O2 in citrus plants, and quicken the recovery of photosynthetic apparatus.  相似文献

In this study we evaluated the influence of rootstocks and scions on physiological disturbances that are induced by salinity in cashew (Anacardium occidentale) plantlets. Two cashew genotypes, CCP 09 and BRS 226, were utilized as rootstocks and scions, resulting in four scion/rootstock combinations by reciprocal grafting. The plantlets were irrigated in absence (control) or in presence of 50 or 200 mM NaCl for 15 days under greenhouse conditions. The plantlets with BRS 226 as rootstocks demonstrated higher transpiration and greater accumulations of Na+ and Cl, proline and free amino acids in leaves compared to plantlets that having CCP 09 as rootstocks. The K+ content in roots and leaves of all four combinations was not influenced by salinity or by different scion/rootstock combinations. The self-grafting of the BRS 226 genotype showed the highest stability for chlorophyll and Rubisco, exhibiting the highest tolerance to salinity. The scion genotype did not affect any of the studied physiological parameters. The studied physiological disturbances induced by salinity in cashew plantlets were more influenced by rootstock than by scion and these changes were also dependent on compatibility between scion and rootstock.  相似文献

The responses of two rose rootstocks Rosa chinensis ‘Major’ and R. rubiginosa were investigated under salt stress. The distribution of chloride and sodium ions in all plant parts was determined. The salt treatments were applied through irrigation water containing 0, 5, 10, 20 and 30 mM NaCl. Necrosis on the leaves as a result of the NaCl treatments was observed with in rootstocks after two months. Leaf injury was more pronounced in R. chinensis ‘Major’ than R. rubiginosa. The rootstock R. rubiginosa showed a higher tolerance to the NaCl stress than R. chinensis ‘Major’. The survival of the plants under increased NaCl stress as well as the extent of leaf injury could be used in the determination of tolerance of the rose genotypes. The lower older leaves contained higher concentrations of Cl than the young upper leaves. Leaf samples had higher concentrations of Cl than stem samples taken from the same positions. The roots contained higher amounts of Cl than the stem samples. The plants accumulated higher amounts of Cl in comparison with Na+. The lower leaves of R. chinensis ‘Major’ had higher amounts of Na+ than in all other parts whereas R. rubiginosa had higher concentrations of Na+ in the roots than in all other parts.  相似文献

The Andean seed crop quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) is traditionally grown under drought and other adverse conditions that constrain crop production in the Andes, and it is regarded as having considerable tolerance to soil drying. The objective of this research was to study how chemical and hydraulic signalling from the root system controlled gas exchange in a drying soil in quinoa. It was observed that during soil drying, relative gs and photosynthesis Amax (drought stressed/fully watered plants) equalled 1, until the fraction of transpirable soil water (FTSW) decreased to 0.82 ± 0.152 and 0.33 ± 0.061, respectively, at bud formation, indicating that photosynthesis was maintained after stomata closure. The relationship between relative gs and relative Amax at bud formation was represented by a logarithmic function (r2 = 0.79), which resulted in a photosynthetic water use efficiency WUEAmax/gsWUEAmax/gs of 1 when FTSW > 0.8, and increased by 50% with soil drying to FTSW 0.7–0.4. Mild soil drying slightly increased ABA in the xylem. It is concluded that during soil drying, quinoa plants have a sensitive stomatal closure, by which the plants are able to maintain leaf water potential (ψl) and Amax, resulting in an increase of WUE. Root originated ABA plays a role in stomata performance during soil drying. ABA regulation seems to be one of the mechanisms utilised by quinoa when facing drought inducing decrease of turgor of stomata guard cells.  相似文献

Effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) alone or in combination with bacterial consortium (AMF+BC) inoculation prior to induced salinity (NaCl @ 150 or 250 mM) were studied on root growth; plant biomass; leaf area; Na+ and K+ contents; leaf water potential (Ψw); osmotic potential (Ψπ); photosynthesis rate (Pn); and contents of chlorophyll, phytohormones, and polyamines in the grape rootstock ‘Dogridge’, popular among Indian vine growers. AMF inoculation in the NaCl untreated rootstocks plants increased root growth, root and shoot biomass, and leaf area and improved leaf Ψw, Ψπ, Pn, and chlorophyll content, and also countered the stress-induced decline in the NaCl treated plants. The abscisic acid (ABA), cytokinins, and polyamine-spermidine and spermine contents in the leaves of NaCl untreated or treated were significantly increased by the AMF inoculation. Among the treatments, AMF with BC was relatively more effective than AMF alone with respect to changes in above morpho-physiological characters. The results depicted that AMF (AMF alone or AMF+BC) inoculation significantly improved salinity tolerance of grape rootstock and tolerance is induced by improvements in plant water balance, K+:Na+ ratio, and Pn, besides distinct accumulations in ABA and polyamines-spermine and spermidine. The above findings have potential in suggesting the AMF usefulness in improving the efficacy of ‘Dogridge’ rootstock in grape cultivation under salt affected soils.  相似文献

Summary

We investigated the ability of interstocks to increase salt tolerance in lemon trees. We compared 2-year-old ‘Verna’ lemon trees [Citrus limon (L.) Burm.; VL] grafted on Sour Orange (C. aurantium L.; SO) rootstock either without an interstock (VL/SO), or interstocked with ‘Valencia’ orange (C. sinensis Osbeck; VL/V/SO), or with ‘Castellano’ orange (C. sinensis Osbeck; VL/C/SO). Trees were grown under greenhouse conditions and supplied with nutrient solutions containing 0, 30, or 60 mM NaCl. Reductions in leaf growth caused by salt treatment were greatest in non-interstocked (VL/SO) trees, followed by VL/C/SO trees, and were the least in VL/V/SO trees. Although the levels of Cl? and Na+ ions in the roots and stems were not affected by either interstock, leaf concentrations of Cl? and Na+ were higher in VL/SO trees than in VL/C/SO or VL/V/SO trees, suggesting that an interstock in Citrus trees could limit the uptake and transport of such ions to the shoots. Saline-treated VL/SO trees also tended to have the lowest shoot:root (S:R) ratios; so, overall, there was a negative relationship between S:R ratio and leaf Cl- ion concentration. Leaf transpiration (Eleaf) may also be involved in the reduction in leaf Cl? concentration, as interstocked trees had lower Eleaf values at mid-day than non-interstocked trees. Salinity increased leaf concentrations of Ca2+ in VL/C/SO trees and increased both leaf K+ and N concentrations in all trees, regardless of interstock. Salinity reduced leaf water potentials and osmotic potentials, such that leaf turgor was increased in all trees.  相似文献

Drought and salinity are two of the most important factors limiting the lemon yield in south-eastern Spain. The effects of drought and salt stress, applied independently, on water relations, osmotic adjustment and gas exchange in the highest evapotranspiration period were studied to compare the tolerance and adaptive mechanisms of 13-year-old ‘Fino 49’ lemon trees, in immature and mature leaves. The study was carried out in an experimental orchard located in Torre Pacheco (Murcia). Three treatments were applied: Control, well-irrigated; drought-stress (DS), non-irrigated from 15th May to 7th July and salinity, irrigated with 30 mM NaCl from 1st March to 7th July. At the end of the experiment, only DS trees showed a decreased leaf stem water potential (Ψmd). Under DS conditions, both types of leaf lost turgor and did not show any osmotic or elastic mechanism to maintain leaf turgor. Osmotic adjustment was the main tolerance mechanism for maintenance of turgor under salt stress, and was achieved by the uptake of Cl ions. Gas-exchange parameters were reduced by DS but not by salinity, stomatal closure being the main adaptive mechanism for avoidance of water loss and maintenance of leaf turgor. Salinity gave rise to greater Cl accumulation in mature than in immature leaves. The increase of proline in immature leaves due to DS indicates greater damage than in mature leaves.  相似文献

Changes caused by NaCl-induced salinity on several growth parameters and ions accumulation have been measured in five olive (Olea europaea L.) cultivars (‘Chemlali’, ‘Chetoui’, ‘Koroneiki’, ‘Arbequina I18’, and ‘Arbosana I43’) growing in a greenhouse in nutrient solution pot experiment. One-year-old plants were transplanted to sand–perlite (1:1) culture, and were irrigated with half-strength Hoagland nutrient solution containing NaCl at various levels (0.5, 50, 100 and 200 mM). Salinity induced significant decrease in growth parameters, but to a different extent in each cultivar. Leaf growth and total leaf area per plant were significantly affected by all salinity treatments in all studied cultivars, being ‘Arbequina I18’ the most sensitive cultivar. Leaf drop phenomenon was observed from 60 days after salt application at high salinity treatments, mainly in Arbequina I18. Contrary to leaf area, leaf thickness increased progressively during the experiment. ‘Chemlali’ developed thicker leaves at the two highest salinity treatments when compared to the other cultivars. Na+ and Cl concentrations were higher in roots than in shoots and leaves in most of the cultivars investigated. The effectiveness of Na+ exclusion mechanism in the roots differed significantly among studied cultivars, working effectively in ‘Chemlali’ (by inhibiting translocation of Na+ to the aerial part) and being much less efficient in ‘Arbequina I18’. Furthermore, leaf abscission can be considered as an additional tolerance mechanism of olive cultivars allowing the elimination of leaves that had accumulated Na+ and Cl ions. Tolerance to salinity stress was as follows: ‘Chemlali’ > ‘Chetoui’ > ‘Arbosana I43’ > ‘Koroneiki’ > ‘Arbequina I18’. This order of salt tolerance was indicated by lower reduction in plant growth parameters (shoot elongation, trunk diameter, total plant dry weight, internodes length, and total leaf area), the increase of leaf thickness, and by the effectiveness of the exclusion mechanism of Na+ and Cl in the root system.  相似文献

Water streams through the conducting systems in spurs of ‘Bartlett’ pear trees were modelled in piped water-streams or electric currents, and measured by a heat-pulse method. Water-potential measurements showed that water potentials of stems (ψs), leaves (ψl) and fruits (ψf) were highest, lowest and intermediate, respectively, at mid-day throughout fruit growth. Retaining this condition (ψs >ψf >ψl), a model was constructed where streams of water through pipes connecting 3 tanks with different water-levels was analogous to water streams among 3 organs of a spur. It was then possible to estimate the possibility of water flowing from the fruit into the leaf against a reverse gradient of water-potential between the stem and the fruit. Another model used electric currents passing through 3 connected electric cells with different voltages. As the electric resistances of the 3 paths were equal, the voltage gradients toward each cell in the circuit were calculated using Kirchhoff's law. Replacing voltages by water potentials allowed the gradients of water potential toward each organ to be estimated, 23ψl ? 13s + ψf) toward the leaf, 23ψf ? 13s + ψl) toward the fruit and 23ψs ? 13l + ψf) toward the stem of the spur. Adverse water fluxes from fruits (for instance, ?0.5 ml peduncle?1 h?1 at the maximum rate) were determined by a heat-pulse method at mid-day in early August. Demonstrations of water fluxes through the peduncles and the petioles by this method gave close agreement with results from the 2 models in relation to the diurnal shifts of direction of the water streams. The gradients of water potential estimated by the electric current model was closely related to water fluxes during the day (r = ?0.9832 for peduncles, r = ?0.9604 for petioles). Two pea (Pisum sativum L.) cultivars were compared: cv Lincoln and cv Douce de Provence. Seedlings grown for 14 d on standard medium were challenged for 21 d with salt using a split-root system. This protocol allowed salt-treated plants to absorb nutrients through a part of their root system maintained in control medium (C), the other part of the root system being placed in medium added with 75 mM NaCl (S). Full salt treatment (S/S) resulted in severe but non-lethal growth inhibition, high concentration of Na+ and Cl in leaves, and decrease in leaf K+ and chlorophyll contents. The two latter effects were more pronounced in Lincoln than in D. Provence. Growth inhibition was partially (Lincoln) or totally (D. Provence) alleviated in S/C configuration, and K+ content was less diminished than in full salt treatment. S/C treatment mitigated Na+ and Cl accumulation in Lincoln, but not in D. Provence. Thus, in the latter cultivar, growth inhibition by salt in S/S condition likely did not result from excessive Na+ and Cl accumulation in leaves. Increased electrolyte leakage from leaf tissues evidenced damages to leaf cell plasma membrane of both cultivars in S/S condition. However, damages to chloroplasts, as inferred from chlorophyll loss, were much pronounced in Lincoln than in D. Provence. Antioxidant enzymic activities in leaves were measured as proxies for oxidative stress. Catalase activity was stimulated by S/S treatment in both cultivars, but superoxide dismutase (Fe and Cu/Zn isoforms) and gaiacol peroxidase activities were augmented only in Lincoln. The absence of superoxide dismutase activity stimulation by salt in D. Provence could signify either that constitutive activity was sufficient to ensure protection against oxidative stress, or that intrinsic salt tolerance of this cultivar mitigated cellular oxidative stress. Thus, intraspecific variability for salt response exists between pea cultivars presenting similar growth sensitivity to salt.  相似文献

‘Swingle’ citrumelo [Citrus paradisi MacFaden × Poncirus trifoliata (L.) Raf.] has been extensively used as a rootstock in several citrus growing regions of the World, including Southern Brazil where ‘Rangpur’ lime (Citrus limonia Osbeck) is still the predominant variety despite being affected by several important pathogens. In this case, ‘Swingle’ citrumelo is used to produce nursery trees to establish new orchards or to be inarched in adult and healthy groves in order to change the rootstock. We report herein a system to produce trees on ‘Swingle’ citrumelo more rapidly by budding onto non-rooted cuttings, as well as assessing potential to rapidly multiply ‘Swingle’ through rooting of non-budded cuttings. Therefore, two potential products are described: budded trees and rooted rootstock cuttings. ‘Valencia’ sweet orange [Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck] was budded at different heights on cuttings derived from eight-month old rootstocks. Grafted and additional non-budded cuttings were then treated with indole-3-butyric acid (500 mg L−1) or left untreated before rooting. Three types of cuttings were evaluated: softwood, semi-hardwood and hardwood. The use of nursery trees derived from pre-budded hardwood cuttings of ‘Swingle’ citrumelo is an alternative grafting method on this cultivar. Softwood cuttings with one leaf pair were considered the most adequate material for rapid multiplication of ‘Swingle’ citrumelo by cutting. This could be particularly useful for inarching production or conventional budding after transplant of cutting-derived rootstocks.  相似文献

Salt tolerance of five cultivars of Capsicum annuum L. Early Jalapeno, Golden Treasure, NuMex Sweet, NuMex Joe E. Parker, and Santa Fe Grande, two cultivars of C. chinense Jacq. Habanero and Pimienta De Chiera, and one accession of C. annuum, NMCA 10652, were evaluated in a field study. Seedlings were transplanted in late May to field raised beds containing loamy sand soils in a semi-arid environment. Plants were well irrigated throughout the experiment. Three saline solution treatments, prepared by adding NaCl, MgSO4, and CaCl2 to tap water at different amounts to create three salinity levels of 0.82 dS m−1 (control, tap water), 2.5 dS m−1, and 4.1 dS m−1 electrical conductivity (EC), were initiated on 15th June and ended in late August. Among the eight varieties, NMCA 10652 had the highest survival percentage at 100% in the 4.1 dS m−1 treatment, followed by ‘Early Jalapeno’, ‘NuMex Sweet’, ‘Pimienta De Chiera’, ‘Santa Fe Grande’, ‘Golden Treasure’, and ‘NuMex Joe E. Parker’. ‘Habanero’ had the lowest survival at 28%. Compared to control, final shoot dry weight of the plants irrigated with saline solution at 4.1 dS m−1 was reduced by 92% in ‘Habanero’, followed by ‘Golden Treasure’ at 80%. For fruit fresh weight in 4.1 dS m−1 vs. control, ‘Habanero’ had the highest reduction at 86%, followed by ‘Golden Treasure’ at 74%, while NMCA 10652 and ‘Santa Fe Grande’ had the least at 26% and 19%, respectively. NMCA 10652, the most tolerant to salinity, had the lowest leaf Na+ accumulation, while ‘Habanero’, the most sensitive to salinity, had the highest Na+ in the leaves. For leaf Cl, ‘Early Jalapeno’ had the highest, while ‘Habanero’ had the lowest Cl accumulation in the leaves. Generally, sensitive varieties accumulated more Na+ and/or Cl in leaves, except for ‘Early Jalapeno’, which was relatively tolerant to salinity but had high Na+ and Cl accumulation in leaves.  相似文献

Greenhouse-grown ‘Ives’ and ‘Delaware’ grapevines (Vitis labruscana, Bailey) were fumigated for 4-hours with ozone (O3) and/or sulfur dioxide (SO2) at 0.40 and 0.80 mg l?1. Fumigations were performed in a plexiglass chamber situated within a controlled environment walk-in growth chamber. When applied separately, both gases induced characteristic foliar injury. ‘Ives’ grapevines were much more sensitive to O3SO2 fumigations than were ‘Delaware’ grapevines. Within each cultivar, leaf necrosis and shoot growth reduction were greatest following fumigation with 0.80 mg l?1 O3 plus 0.80 mg l?1 SO2. Leaf abscission occurred only on ‘Ives’ and was related to foliar necrosis. Shoot growth following fumigation was less on vines having most foliar necrosis. Yet, ‘Delaware’ vines showing less than 1% leaf area necrosis still had significant reductions in shoot growth. All O3 and SO2 fumigations resulted in stomatal opening.  相似文献

‘Picual’ olive cuttings were grown in a greenhouse under saline conditions in 2 L plastic pots containing perlite. Plants were irrigated with a nutrient solution plus 75 mM NaCl and 0, 2.5, 10 or 40 mM CaCl2. Vegetative growth, leaf and root Na+ and Ca2+ concentrations were measured. Na+ toxicity symptoms were observed in plants non-treated with Ca2+. Shoot length was higher in Ca2+ treated plants, although shoot growth was reduced at 40 mM CaCl2, probably due to the high total ion concentration reached in the external solution. Ca2+ supply linearly increased leaf and root Ca2+ concentration and decreased leaf Na+ concentration. However, there were no differences in root Na+ concentration. Results indicate Ca2+ may take part in the Na+ exclusion mechanism, mainly preventing Na+ transport to the shoot, that may be an important ability for survival under saline conditions.  相似文献
