The objective of this study was to determine phosphorus leaching of diets supplemented with various inorganic phosphorus sources [mono basic sodium phosphate (MSP), mono basic calcium phosphate (MCP), a 3 : 1 mixture of mono and dibasic calcium phosphate (MDCP), dibasic calcium phosphate (DCP)], and the apparent phosphorus digestibility of these sources in Haliotis midae. A trend of increased dietary phosphorus leaching from diet pellets with increased water solubility of sources was observed. MSP presented the highest (P < 0.05) phosphorus leaching (58.8%), while a value of 14.9% was obtained with DCP. Unexpectedly high phosphorus leaching (48.7% maximum) was obtained for a reference diet consisting of commercial feed ingredients (fish meal, soya bean meal, cottonseed meal) without any phosphorus supplementation. DCP presented a lower (P < 0.05) apparent phosphorus digestibility (27.9%) than MSP (66.5%), MCP (72.6%) and MDCP (66.3%). When dietary phosphorus leaching and apparent phosphorus digestibility were take into account, MDCP seems to be the most promising inorganic phosphorus source for inclusion in abalone diets. Further research should concentrate on minimizing dietary phosphorus leaching through feed preparation techniques.  相似文献

Six isonitrogenous (320 g kg?1) and isolipidic (60 g kg?1) diets were formulated with graded levels (0, 5, 10 and 15 g kg?1) of dicalcium phosphate (DCP) and fungal phytase (750 and 1500 FTU kg?1 diet). Tra catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus), 9.6 g, were fed the diets for 12 weeks. Each experimental diet was fed to eight replicates of fish to apparent satiation. At the end of the trial, fish fed the diets containing 15 g kg?1 DCP, 750 and 1500 FTU kg?1 phytase had higher growth performances, protein efficiency ratio and phosphorus retention than those fed the control diet, 5 g kg?1 DCP and 10 g kg?1 DCP diets (P < 0.05). Whole body ash and phosphorus concentration of fish fed the 10 g kg?1 DCP and 15 g kg?1 DCP diets were significantly higher than those of fish fed the control diet. Higher apparent digestibility coefficient of phosphorus was observed in fish fed the phytase supplemented diets. The present results indicate that supplementation of phytase at 750 FTU kg?1 and 1500 FTU kg?1 improves growth performances, feed and phosphorus utilization. The supplementation can completely replace dicalcium phosphate or other phosphorus sources in tra catfish feed and reduce the phosphorus discharge into environment.  相似文献

以鱼粉、豆粕、菜粕等为蛋白原料设计配方, 磷酸二氢钙的添加量分别为1.5%1.0%0.5%0(对应的饲料组为P1.5PP1.0PP0.5PP0), 其中PP1.0PP0.5PP0组中均添加200 mg/kg的中性植酸酶, 开展为期8周的黑鲷(Acanthopagrus schlegelii)养殖实验, 以探讨中性植酸酶替代磷酸二氢钙对黑鲷生长和磷利用的影响。结果显示, 黑鲷摄食实验饲料8周后, 各组间成活率无显著差异(P>0.05); 摄食饲料PP1.0PP0.5和对照组(P1.5)实验鱼的增重率无显著差异(P>0.05), 但均显著高于PP0处理组, 饲料系数则显著低于PP0处理组(P<0.05)。摄食不同饲料的黑鲷全鱼中蛋白质、脂肪、灰分及钙磷含量在不同组间均无显著差异(P>0.05)。添加植酸酶的各组鱼磷的表观消化率均显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。随着磷酸二氢钙添加量的降低, 黑鲷对干物质和蛋白质的表观消化率呈升高的趋势, 当饲料中磷酸二氢钙的添加量降到0, 黑鲷对干物质和蛋白质的表观消化率显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。以上结果说明, 在本研究配方下, 黑鲷正常生长对饲料有效磷的需求量0.51%; 磷酸二氢钙可部分被植酸酶替代, 当黑鲷饲料中含有20%鱼粉、32%豆粕和12%菜粕, 且植酸酶添加量为200 mg/kg, 与饲料中添加1%的磷酸二氢钙相当; 在不影响黑鲷生长的前提下, 植酸酶部分替代磷酸二氢钙不仅可降低无机磷的添加, 同时可提高饲料中磷的利用率, 降低磷排放。

A feeding trial was conducted to study the effect of partial replacement of dietary monocalcium phosphate (MCP) with neutral phytase on growth performance and phosphorus digestibility in gibel carp, Carassius auratus gibelio (Bloch). Control diet was prepared with 2% MCP but without phytase (P0). Other three experimental diets were prepared by replacement of MCP by 25%, 50% and 75% respectively in comparison with control with supplementation of neutral phytase at 500 U kg?1 diet in each and designated as P25, P50 and P75 respectively. Gibel carp (initial body weight of 30.22 ± 1.98 g) were reared in twelve 300‐L cylindrical fibreglass tanks provided with filtered flow‐through tap water at 26–28°C. After 8‐week experiment, gibel carp fed with P50 had no obvious differences from the control group on weight gain (WG), specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion ratio (FCR), protein efficiency rate (PER) and survival rate. Phytase supplementation did not affect body compositions or muscle compositions. Crude protein and phosphorus (P) contents in the faeces of fish fed with the phytase‐supplemented diets were significantly lower than those of the control group. The apparent digestibility coefficients (ADCs) of crude protein and P in gibel carp were increased when fish fed with the diets in which MCP was replaced by neutral phytase. This study suggested that partial replacement of dietary MCP at 50% with neutral phytase was considered as a recommended dietary supplemental level and increased dietary P and protein availability.  相似文献

This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of citric acid (CA) and amino acid chelated trace elements (AA) on the growth, phosphorus (P) utilization efficiency and loading in rainbow trout fed a diet formulated with a low‐fish meal (FM) concentration. A low‐FM basal diet with or without monocalcium phosphate supplementation served as positive and negative control correspondingly. Dietary treatments consisted of the basal diet supplemented either with 1% CA, AA (equivalent to 40 Zn, 20 Mn, and 4 Cu mg/Kg of diet instead of inorganic trace element mix) or a combination of both. Duplicate groups of 35 fish (13.2 g) were fed until apparent satiation during 12 wk. Group of fish fed diets supplemented with 1% CA or AA had a final growth and feed utilization similar to that observed in fish fed the positive control diet (P > 0.05). P absorption was increased with the addition of CA or AA. P retention efficiency rates for these diets were higher in comparison with the rest of the treatments consequently showing the lowest P loading values (P < 0.05). The results indicate that addition of 1% CA or AA, to a low‐FM diet without inorganic P supplementation enhanced fish growth, P retention, and decreased P load to the environment.  相似文献

ABSTRACT:   In order to verify methods for minimizing waste output of phosphorus (P) into the water and preserve an adequate growth rate in rainbow trout, a succession of two feeding trials were performed employing three test diets that were formulated with a low proportion of fish meal (FM), low-P ingredients (defatted soybean meal, corn gluten meal, feather meal, and blood meal), and varying levels of monocalcium phosphate (MCP) as a P supplement (0, 0.5 and 1% of diet which represent 0, 1 and 2 mg/g of available P, respectively). Total P concentrations achieved were 6.2, 8.7 and 9.6 mg/g, respectively. A control diet was formulated with FM as the main protein source and without MCP (total P content was 17.0 mg/g). Diets were fed until apparent satiation to duplicate groups of 50 (1.5 g) and 15 fish (147.8 g) during 24 and 14 weeks, respectively. In both cases, the lowest growth was observed in fish fed the basal diet without MCP. The test diet supplemented with 0.5% MCP provided growth and feed performance comparable to that obtained in fish fed the control diet. These results suggest that diets formulated with low-P ingredients should be supplemented with an adequate amount of P in order to meet the fish requirements and reduced diet-related P loading.  相似文献

A 6‐wk feeding trial was conducted to reevaluate the phosphorus (P) requirement of juvenile olive flounder and the bioavailability of various inorganic phosphorus sources (IPS). Eight experimental diets were prepared such that all diets contained the same amount of calories, nitrogen, and calcium. Each diet included 0.33% total phosphorus (TP) and 0.60 % total calcium supplied by the basal diet. The eight experimental diets were: the basal diet without P supplementation (BD), three diets consisting of the BD supplemented with NaH,PO4.2H2O (NaP0.45 NaP0.57 or NaP1.14) to supply 0.45, 0.57 or 1.14% TP, and four diets consisting of the BD supplemented with K2HPO4 (KP0.57), Ca(H2PO4);H2O (Cap0.57), CaH2PO4;2H2O (CaHP0.57) or flounder bone meal (FBP0.57) to supply 0.57% TP. Fish (N = 480)averaging 4.02 ± 0.03 g (Mean ± SD) were distributed randomly into 24 aquaria (20 fish per aquarium), and were fed one of the eight experimental diets in triplicate groups. The weight gain (WG), specific growth rate (SGR), protein efficiency ratio (PER) and feed efficiency (FE) of fish fed the NaP0.57 diet were significantly higher than those of fish fed the BD, NaP1.14, KP0.57, CaHP0.57 and FBP0.57 diets (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in WG, SGR, PER, and FER among fish fed the Nap0.45, NaP0.57 and Cap0.57, diets. Whole body P retention (WBPret) in fish fed the Nap0.57 diet was significantly higher than in fish fed the BD, NaP1.14, KP0.57 CaHP0.57 and FBP0.57diets (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in WBPret among fish fed the NaP0.47, NaP0.57, and CaP0.57, diets. The ability of the fish to digest the phosphorus in the NaP0.45, Nap0.57, NaP1.14, and CaP0.57 diets was significantly better than that of fish fed the other diets (P > 0.05). These results indicated that the dietary P requirement for juvenile olive flounder could be 0.45457%. Also, NaH,PO; 2H2O and Ca(H2PO4);H2O appeared to have a better bioavailability than the other P sources in juvenile olive flounder.  相似文献

ABSTRACT:   An 8-week feeding trial was conducted to determine the optimum dietary phosphorus level of juvenile Japanese flounder Paralichthys olivaceus reared in the recirculating system. The basal diet containing 0.33% total phosphorus (TP) was supplemented with NaH2PO4·H2O to provide 0.33, 0.51, 0.71, 0.94, 1.10 and 2.12% TP for the experimental diets. Fish averaging 2.0 ± 0.04 g (mean ± SD) were fed in triplicate groups with the experimental diets for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, fish fed the 0.51% TP diet showed significantly higher weight gain (WG), feed efficiency (FE), specific growth rate (SGR), and protein efficiency ratio (PER) than those fed the 0.33% and 2.12% TP diets ( P  < 0.05). Meanwhile, no difference was observed in WG, FE, SGR and PER of fish fed the 0.51, 0.71, 0.94 and 1.10% TP diets. Fish fed the 0.33% TP diet showed phosphorus deficiency symptoms such as poor growth and a deformed head by the end of 8 weeks. Ash and phosphorus contents of bone increased with the increase of dietary phosphorus concentrations. anova test, the quadratic regression analysis, and the broken line analysis suggested that the optimum dietary phosphorus level could be between 0.45 and 0.51% TP for maximum WG in juvenile Japanese flounder.  相似文献

Two 8‐wk studies were conducted to evaluate the effects of neutral phytase supplementation on hemato‐biochemical status, liver biochemical parameter, and intestinal digestive enzyme activity of grass carp, Ctenopharyngodon idellus, and gibel carp, Carassius auratus gibelio, fed with different levels of monocalcium phosphate (MCP). The control diet was prepared with 2% MCP but without phytase (P2.0). The other three experimental diets were prepared with the addition of 1.5, 1.0, and 0.5% MCP, respectively, when supplemented with 500 U/kg neutral phytase in each diet and designated as PP1.5, PP1.0, and PP0.5, respectively. The results indicated that the serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP), alanine transaminase (ALT), and aspartate transaminase (AST) activities, as well as the albumin (ALB) content were increased in grass carp (P < 0.05) and gibel carp (P > 0.05) fed with phytase‐supplemented diets. Meanwhile, the serum cholesterol, high‐density lipoprotein, and total protein contents of the two species of fish were increased in comparison to the control. In addition, dietary phytase inclusion did not significantly affect hepatic ALP, ALT, and AST activities in the two species of carp fed with different levels of MCP. Amylase activity increased in foregut and hindgut of both species when fed with the phytase‐supplemented diets while lipase activity was reduced in the foregut and hindgut in both fish. This study suggests that neutral phytase supplementation increases serum ALP, ALT, and AST activities but does not notably affect these enzyme activities in the liver of the two species of carp when fed different levels of MCP. On the other hand, amylase activity increased while lipase activity was reduced in the intestine of the species of carp fed with phytase‐supplemented diets.  相似文献

Abstract.– Juvenile channel catfish Ictalurus punctatus (initial weight: 6.8 g/fish) were fed four practical diets containing 0, 250, 500, and 750 units of microbial phytase/kg and a diet containing 1% feed grade dicalcium phosphate (but no microbial phytase) under laboratory conditions for 12 wk. Fish fed the diets containing 250 units of microbial phytase/kg and above consumed more feed, gained more weight, and had a lower feed conversion ratio (FCR) in comparison to fish fed the basal diet containing no microbial phytase. Fish fed the diet containing dicalcium phosphate had intermediate weight gain and feed conversion ratio as compared to fish fed the basal diet and diets containing microbial phytase. Bone ash and phosphorus concentrations were lower for fish fed the basal diet than for fish fed other diets. No differences in weight gain, feed consumption, FCR, bone ash and bone phosphorus were observed among fish fed the diets containing various levels of microbial phytase. Fish fed the diet containing dicalcium phosphate had a lower bone phosphorus concentration than fish fed diets containing microbial phytase. Fecal phosphorus concentrations were lower for fish fed the diets containing microbial phytase than for fish fed the basal diet and the diet containing dicalcium phosphate. Results from the present study indicated that addition of 250 units of microbial phytase/kg to practical diets can effectively improve bioavailability of phytate phosphorus to channel catfish and may possibly eliminate the use of an inorganic phosphorus supplement in channel catfish diets. However, these data must be verified in trials conducted in ponds, prior to recommending removal of supplemental phosphorus from channel catfish diets.  相似文献

A growth experiment was conducted to determine the effect of supplementing dietary calcium in fish meal‐based diets on the growth of cultured soft‐shelled turtle Pelodiscus sinensis. Juvenile soft‐shelled turtles of 4.1 g mean body weight were fed nine diets containing two levels of phosphorus (2.7% or 3.0%) and analysed calcium levels ranging from 4.7% to 6.6% for 10 weeks. The growth of the turtles was enhanced when inorganic calcium was added to the diets. The weight gain of the turtles fed the control diet containing calcium solely from fish meal was the lowest among the test groups, and was significantly lower than those fed the diet containing 5.7% calcium at the 3.0% phosphorus level (P<0.05). Feed conversion and protein efficiency ratios were not affected by different dietary treatments. Whole‐body moisture and crude protein contents of turtles were not affected by different dietary treatments. The body ash of turtles fed 3.0% phosphorus diets tended to be higher than turtles fed 2.7% phosphorus diets. The body calcium to phosphorus ratio of turtles fed 3.0% phosphorus diets was greater than that of turtles fed diets containing 2.7% phosphorus. Supplementation of Ca in a fish meal‐based practical diet is required for the optimum growth of soft‐shelled turtles.  相似文献

Nutrient dense diets not only challenge the physiological capabilities of fish but also result in discharge of excess amounts into the environment, causing eutrophication of the receiving water. This study investigated the effect of dietary levels of citric acid (CA) and/or amino acid-chelated trace element (AA-CTE) on growth and nutrient retention in red sea bream and loading of phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N). Six practical diets were formulated, the control being a fish meal-based diet (F0) without addition of P, CA and AA-CTE. Diet F1 was supplemented with 1% mono calcium phosphate (0.25% P). In diets C1 and C2 fishmeal was replaced with alternate plant protein ingredients and supplemented with 1% and 2% CA, respectively. Diets A1 and A2 were akin to diets C1 and C2, respectively but contained AA-CTE instead of the inorganic trace element. Fish weighing around 12 g were offered the respective diets to satiation during the 12-week trial. Growth and feed performance were lowest for fish fed F0 diet, but significant improvement (P < 0.05) was noticed among those fed diets supplemented with P, CA or AA-CTE. The F1 group had the best growth (final body weight 85.02 g) while A1 group had the best FCR (1). Absorption of P was significantly higher (P < 0.01) for fish that received CA and/or AA-CTE (C1, C2, A1 and A2) compared to group that did not receive them (F0 and F1). The P and nitrogen (N) retention values in fish fed diets with CA and/or AA-CTE were significantly (P < 0.01) greater compared to the rest and this facilitated a reduction in excretion rates. The diet supplemented with 1% CA to an alternate plant protein sources diet without inorganic P supplementation had better performance compared to the diets supplemented with 2% CA, 1% CA + AA-CTE, and 2% CA + AA-CTE. Thus, without addition of inorganic P, 1% CA supplementation to alternate plant protein sources diets significantly improved fish growth, FCR and nutrient retention, besides lowering N and P loading. An efficient level of CA is suggested to be 1% or less in alternative plant protein source diets (containing 35% fish meal). These findings would contribute to the pursuit of environment-friendly feed for red sea bream.  相似文献

ABSTRACT:   A feeding experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of various organic acids and supplements on the growth, phosphorus (P) utilization, and environmental loading of nitrogen (N) and P in red sea bream Pagrus major. Seven diets designated as PA (0.5% inorganic P as Ca[H2PO4]2), PO (no inorganic P), CA (1% citric acid), MA (1% malic acid), LA (1% lactic acid), MHA (1% methionine hydroxy analog) and LTE (1% liquid trace elements) were formulated. Duplicate groups of 25 fish were fed four times daily to near satiation for 75 days. Fish fed CA and LTE diets showed significantly better weight gain and feed conversion ratio compared to fish fed diet PO. Absorption of P was significantly improved in all organic acid-supplemented groups compared to the PA and PO groups. The P retention in CA and LTE groups were significantly higher compared to PA and PO diets. The P excretion was also significantly decreased in all organic acid-supplemented groups. Thus, use of organic acids, in particular CA and LTE, in red sea bream diets can reduce the use of inorganic phosphorus and contribute to the development of much-desired eco-friendly diets.  相似文献

Effects of dietary phytase, amino acid (AA), and inorganic phosphorus (P) in soybean meal (SBM) diets on the growth, feed utilization, and P waste of Australian catfish, Tandanus tandanus, were evaluated. In Experiment 1, SBM replaced 30% of fishmeal (FM) protein in the four test diets, supplemented with phytase (1000–3000 FTU/kg). In Experiment 2, SBM replaced 45% of FM protein in the four test diets, supplemented with phytase, AAs, inorganic P, or their combinations. Inclusion of 3000 FTU/kg significantly improved growth performance and feed utilization of catfish. Ortho‐P waste was significantly lower in fish fed with SBM diets. At 30% FM protein replacement, dietary SBM did not reduce the total P waste of catfish while dietary phytase significantly did. At 45% FM protein replacement, phytase alone did not significantly improve the growth and feed utilization of catfish fed with SBM diets while significantly better results were obtained when both phytase and AAs were supplemented. Dietary inclusion of inorganic P significantly decreased P utilization and increased P waste of the fish. Dietary phytase significantly improved P utilization of catfish in both experiments.  相似文献

A series of experiments was conducted to research sensitive indicators for phosphorus status of fish using post‐juvenile rainbow trout. Fish were fed up to 24 days with semipurified diets that varied in phosphorus content. Concentrations of glucose‐6‐phosphate, ATP, creatine phosphate, glucose, total lipids and total cholesterol in blood or skeletal muscle were relatively unchanged by the 24 days of dietary phosphorus restriction. Inorganic phosphorus and ATP levels in the blood, however, correlated significantly and positively. Inorganic phosphorus levels in plasma and urine were significantly lower in fish fed phosphorus‐deficient diets than phosphorus‐supplemented diets. Urinary phosphorus excretion peaked 6–10 h after feeding fish with diets containing potassium phosphate. Fish receiving either commercial feeds or experimental diets containing phosphorus as fish bone excreted trace amounts of phosphorus in the urine. Faecal content of phosphorus significantly increased when the diet containing potassium phosphate was supplemented with calcium carbonate. Urinary phosphorus concentration was found to be a rapid and sensitive indicator for dietary intake of phosphorus and probably phosphorus status of the fish, and had an advantage over conventional response variables in estimating dietary phosphorus requirement especially with large commercial‐size fish.  相似文献

A growth trial was conducted to estimate the optimum concentration of dietary available phosphorus (P) for grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella). Triplicate groups of grass carp (5.59 ± 0.02 g) were fed diets containing graded levels (2.36, 4.27, 6.31, 8.36, 10.4 and 14.8 g kg?1) of available P for 8 weeks. Grass carp fed with the P‐supplemented diets had significantly higher specific growth rate, weight gain, protein efficiency ratio and feed efficiency than fish fed with the basal diet. In whole‐body composition, protein content increased, while lipid content decreased with the increase in P level in diet (P < 0.05). Fish fed with the P‐supplemented diets had significantly higher whole body, vertebrae and scales mineralization (P < 0.05), but Ca/P ratios were not influenced. The blood chemistry analysis showed that dietary available P had distinct effects on P, Ca and Mg contents, as well as on the contents of triacylglycerol and total cholesterol. Broken‐line analysis indicated that 8.49 g kg?1 dietary available P was required for maximal tissue storage and mineralization as well as optimal growth.  相似文献

A feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the dietary copper requirement of red drum (Sciaenops ocellatus) and compare the bioavailability of copper sulphate (CuSO4) and copper‐ethanolamine. A basal diet was formulated using semi‐purified ingredients and analysed to contain 3 mg Cu/kg. Both copper sources were supplemented to the basal diet at either 5, 10 or 20 mg Cu/kg of dry diet. No significant differences were observed in growth performance of fish fed the various diets. However, red drum fed all copper‐supplemented diets retained more copper in liver and whole‐body tissues compared to fish fed the basal diet. Within both inorganic and organic copper treatments, the highest tissue copper concentrations were observed in fish fed diets supplemented with 10 mg Cu/kg. No significant differences were detected in net copper retention regardless of the nature of the copper source; hence, the bioavailability of copper sulphate and copper‐ethanolamine complex was not different in the diets for juvenile red drum. Furthermore, the minimum copper requirement for growth performance of juvenile red drum appeared to be satisfied when fish were fed the basal diet containing 3 mg Cu/kg diet, and no detrimental effects were observed in red drum fed diets supplemented with 20 mg Cu/kg.  相似文献

Two experiments were conducted to determine the optimum level of dietary available phosphorus from monocalcium phosphate for juvenile Ussuri catfish Pseudobagrus ussuriensis. Experiment 1 was conducted to estimate phosphorus digestibility from monocalcium phosphate for juvenile Ussuri catfish. The apparent digestibility coefficient of phosphorus from monocalcium phosphate was 86.3%. In the experiment 2, triplicate groups of juvenile Ussuri catfish were fed diets containing graded levels of monocalcium phosphate (MCP: 0 g/kg, 8.2 g/kg, 16.4 g/kg, 24.6 g/kg, 32.8 g/kg and 41.0 g/kg) for 8 weeks. Fish fed the diet containing 16.4 g/kg MCP with available phosphorus of 4.8 g/kg showed the best weight gain (171.5%), feed conversion ratio (1.08) and protein efficiency ratio (2.06). No significant difference was observed in fish survival among the treatments. The best result in terms of phosphorus retention efficiency (46.10%) was observed in fish fed the diet containing 8.2 g/kg MCP with available phosphorus of 3.0 g/kg, which was not different (> .05) from those fed the diet containing up to 24.6 g/kg MCP, and the highest vertebrae phosphorus content (58.2 g/kg) was observed in fish fed the diet containing 24.6 g/kg MCP with available P of 6.6 g/kg. The whole‐body lipid and protein, as well as phosphorus contents, were significantly affected by dietary available phosphorus (< .05). Viscerosomatic index (VSI) and condition factor (CF) were inversely correlated with dietary phosphorus levels (< .05). This study was to assess effects of the pretreatment in all‐plant based diets with microbial phytase on phosphorous utilization and growth performance of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Pretreatment trials were conducted using phytase at graded doses to determine the optimal dose of phytase. Available phosphorus (P) levels increased significantly with the increased doses of phytase and the dose of 1000 U kg?1 was most efficient. Based on the pretreatment trials, plant based diets for Nile tilapia were formulated by pretreating with phytase at 1000 U kg?1. Experimental diets were supplemented with graded levels of mono calcium phosphate (MCP) at 25, 18.75, 12.5, 6.25 and 0 g kg ?1 diet. In addition, there were three controls: one phytase control, one inorganic P control and one pretreatment control. The results showed that diets pretreated with phytase gave better growth performance, feed conversion ratio and protein efficiency ratio of Nile tilapia compared with the phytase control diet and pretreatment control diet (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in growth performance of Nile tilapia between the inorganic control diet and phytase pretreated diets supplemented with MCP at 25, 18.75 and 12.5 g kg?1 (P > 0.05), which resulted in significantly better performance than those at 6.25 and 0 g kg?1 (P < 0.05). Dietary interaction effects of phytase were observed for phosphorus retention efficiency and phosphorus load. Apparent digestibility coefficient of P (ADCp) was improved significantly by phytase pretreatment (P < 0.05). No significant difference was detected on ADC of crude protein among all experimental diets (P > 0.05).  相似文献

An experiment with 0.2‐kg Atlantic salmon, Salmo salar in saltwater was conducted to determine if the fish could grow normally, and maintain normal nitrogen (N) and mineral balance when fed a diet with the majority of the protein (75%) derived from soy‐protein concentrate (SPC). The two diets contained 50% SPC and 15% fish meal (FM) or 60% FM as the sources of protein. No calcium phosphate was added to the diets in order to assess the availability of P from the ingredients. A second aim was to investigate if whole‐body concentrations of essential elements and growth were related in individual salmon. Growth (SGR=0.88–0.89) was similar in salmon fed the two diets, and the fish nearly doubled their body weights during the 84 days of feeding. Feed conversion was more efficient for the FM diet (0.81 kg intake kg?1 gain) than for the SPC diet (0.89 kg kg?1). The intake of N was similar, faecal loss of N was lower, while the metabolic N excretion was greater in the fish fed the FM than the SPC diet. This resulted in a total excretion of 35.4 g N kg?1 gain for the salmon fed the FM diet and 35.5 g N for the fish fed the SPC diet. Both the intake, faecal and metabolic excretion of P were higher in the fish fed the FM diet than the SPC diet, resulting in a total excretion of 10.5 g P kg?1 gain for the FM diet and 7.2 g P for the SPC diet. Whole‐body concentrations of Ca, Mg, P and Zn were lower in the fish fed the SPC diet, while the Ca–P ratio was decreased, both when compared with the fish at the start of the experiment, and the fish fed the FM diet. The differences in elemental composition were ascribed to a combination of reduced availability of elements due to phytic acid and lower concentration of elements in the SPC than in the FM. No reduction in growth of individual fish, which could be ascribed to reduced availability of essential elements, was seen.  相似文献
