In this study was analyzed the effect of crop year and harvesting time on the fatty acid composition of cv. Picual virgin olive oil. The study was carried out during the fruit ripening period for three crop seasons. The mean fatty acid composition of Picual oils was determined. The oils contained palmitic acid (11.9%), oleic acid (79.3%), and linoleic acid (2.95%). The content of palmitic acid and saturated fatty acids decreased during fruit ripening while oleic and linoleic acids increased. The amount of stearic and linolenic acids decreased. The amount of saturated acids, palmitic and stearic, and the polyunsaturated acids linoleic and linolenic was dependent on the time of harvest, whereas the amount of oleic acid varied with the crop year. The differences observed between crop years for both palmitic and linoleic acid may be explained by the differences in the temperature during oil biosynthesis and by the amount of summer rainfall for oleic acid content. A significant relationship was observed between the MUFA/PUFA ratio and the oxidative stability measured by the Rancimat method.  相似文献

Effects of foliar applications of some micro- and macro-nutrients on mineral nutrient content of tomato leaves and fruits were investigated in an aquaponic system in comparison with a hydroponic system. Fourteen days old tomatoes seedlings were transplanted on to growth bed of aquaponic and hydroponic systems. Foliar nutrients application began 30 days after transplantation. Eight treatments were used, untreated control and foliar application at the rate of 250 mL plant?1 with 0.5 g L?1 potassium sulfate (K2SO4), magnesium sulfate (MgSO4 7H2O), ferrous (Fe)- ethylenediamine-N,N′-bis (EDDHA), manganese sulfate (MnSO4 H2O), boric acid (H3BO3), zinc chloride (ZnCl2), and copper sulfate (CuSO4 5H2O). Foliar application of potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), and copper (Cu) increased their corresponding concentrations in the leaves of aquaponic-treated plants. On the other hand, foliar spray of K, Fe, Mn, Zn, and Cu caused a significant increment of applied element concentrations in the fruits of hydroponic-grown plants. These findings indicated that foliar application of some elements can effectively alleviate nutrient deficiencies in the leaves of tomatoes grown on aquaponics.  相似文献

The paper assess the variability of fat content and fatty acids profiles in seeds of a white lupin (Lupinus albus L.) domestic collection. The initial material comprised 371 accessions originated from 30 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, North- and South America and Australia. According to data given by accession donors the material is divided into four classes of origin: wild lines, landraces, lines created by man and cultivars. Variability of fat content and fatty acids composition were estimated in seeds of each accession. The average fat content for analyzed collection is 9.81%. The broadest range of fat content was noticed for landraces and cultivars as compared to narrowest represented by lines created by man. Fat content ranged from 6.9% (induced mutant Wt 95497) to 14.1% (Polish cultivar Wt 95420 and the landrace Wt 95212 from Jordan). From a dietetic point of view, oil quality is more important than oil quantity in lupin seeds. On average the fatty acid (FA) in examined accessions ranked in following order of abundance: oleic acid (C18:1) > linoleic acid (C18:2) > linolenic acid (C18:3) > palmitic acid (C16:0) > eicosenoic acid (C20:1) > stearic acid (C18:0) ≈ erucic acid (C22:1). In respect to unsaturated fatty acid (UFA), monounsaturated oleic acid in each of estimated classes of accessions was predominant and most abundant (55.7%) in broad range of minimum–maximum values from 41.2 to 66.2%. The second examined monounsaturated fatty acid was erucic acid (1.74%) found in seeds of almost all studied accessions. An exception were four accessions defined similarly to rapeseeds as “zero erucic” forms. In seeds of few accessions a content of erucic acid exceeded 3%. Among polyunsaturated fatty acids linoleic FA (ω?6) dominated followed by linolenic FA (ω?3). Both FA were in the range 13.7–33.2% and 5.6–12.8% with mean values on the level 19.6 and 10.1%, respectively. As a consequence, the examined white lupin seeds showed a very favourable ω?3/ω?6 FA ratio (0.51), ranging from 0.21 to 0.87, much higher than that of most vegetable oils. Fat content was positively correlated with stearic and oleic fatty acids and negatively with palmitic, linoleic, linolenic and erucic acid.  相似文献

Crude fat and fatty acid profile of 35 foxtail millets including seven varieties planted in five different regions of China were studied. The fat content ranged from 3.38 to 6.49% (averaging 4.51%). The major fatty acid in foxtail millets was linoleic acid (averaging 66.68%), followed by oleic acid (averaging 16.11%), palmitic acid (averaging 7.42%), stearic acid (averaging 6.84%), and linolenic acid (averaging 2.48%). Two‐way ANOVA showed that fat content was significantly affected by millet variety and cultivation area (P < 0.05). Fatty acids including linoleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and linolenic acid varied significantly in different foxtail millet varieties (P < 0.05), except oleic acid (P > 0.05). Fatty acids including linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid did not change significantly in foxtail millets from different regions (P > 0.05), except linolenic acid (P < 0.05). Correlation analysis indicated that oleic acid was negatively correlated with palmitic acid and linoleic acid (P < 0.05), and linolenic acid was positively correlated with palmitic acid and linoleic acid but negatively correlated with stearic acid (P < 0.05). The research showed that millets with good fat composition can be obtained through breeding techniques or cultivation management.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

To select and introduce the best rapeseed genotypes under withholding irrigation, two field experiments were carried out in seasons 2015–2016 and 2016–2017 in Iran. Factorial arrangement of treatments was set up as RCBD with three replications. The experiment factors were two irrigation treatments (normal irrigation during the growing season and withholding irrigation from silique setting stage until the end of the growing season) and 17 genotypes of rapeseed. Grain yield, oil content and fatty acid contents were measured. The results revealed that oleic acid (62.15%) was the highest followed by linoleic (19.28%), linolenic (5.65%), palmitic (5.24%) and stearic acids (2.44%). ODR (oleic desaturation ratio) and LDR (linoleic desaturation ratio) were significantly affected by genotypes and irrigation treatments. The biosynthetic pathway of fatty acids affected by drought stress. This means that linoleic acid increases under withholding irrigation condition, while linolenic acid decreases in such a water deficit stress condition. The highest performance of qualitative and quantitative was detected in HL3721 genotype due to high values of grain yield (3892.45 kg ha?1), oil content (437.05 g kg?1), unsaturated fatty acids (87.63%) and low values of saturated fatty acids (7.98%), and it could be used under withholding irrigation in arid and semi-arid climates.  相似文献

Five rates of water application were applied in a 4 year study on olive (Olea europaea) varieties 'Barnea' and 'Souri'. Increased irrigation lead to increased tree-scale oil yields, lower polyphenol content, and, frequently, higher oil acidity. These effects were predominant in "off" years. The fatty acid profile was influenced primarily by bearing level and variety and secondarily by irrigation rate. The saturated to unsaturated fatty acid ratio was higher in "off" than in "on" years, and the monounsaturated fatty acid to polyunsaturated fatty acid ratio was higher in "on" years as a result of the fact that oleic and stearic acids were higher in "on" years, while palmitic, palmitoleic, and linoleic acids were greater in "off" years. Squalene was higher in 'Souri' than in 'Barnea' oils, was not affected by bearing cycle, and was consistently lower in oil from trees receiving the lowest irrigation level.  相似文献

Abstract

We investigated the effect of foliar application of potassium nitrate (KNO3) and zinc sulfate (ZnSO4) on the fruit quality of pomegranate (Punica granatum L. cv. Malas-E–Torsh in Saveh). Potassium was applied as KNO3 at concentrations of 0%, 0.25%, and 0.5% and zinc was applied as ZnSO4 at concentrations of 0%, 0.5%, and 1% in a completely randomized block design. To determine the effect of the treatments on fruit quality, we measured fruit weight, peel thickness, aril diameter, phenol content of the juice, pH, total soluble solids (TSS), titratable acidity (TA), and antioxidant capacity. Foliar application of KNO3 significantly increased fruit weight, 100 aril weight, peel weight, peel thickness, TTS, and antioxidant capacity. In contrast, pH, TA, TSS/TA, and phenol content of the juice were not influenced by foliar application of KNO3. ZnSO4 significantly increased fruit weight, aril diameter, and phenol content of the juice. KNO3 1% and ZnSO4 0.5% were identified as the most appropriate treatments in improving quality and quantity of pomegranate. The fatty acid profile of the pomegranate oil was primarily composed of punicic acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid.  相似文献

采用二因素裂区试验,研究了不同种植密度和施肥水平对高油大豆品质性状的影响。结果表明,高油大豆的油脂含量随着种植密度的降低和施肥水平的升高而升高,蛋白质含量则相反; 不同品种间以农大15751油脂含量最高。中等种植密度处理硬脂酸和油酸含量较高,而高密度处理下亚油酸和亚麻酸含量较高,棕榈酸含量差异不显著。不同施肥水平对高油大豆脂肪酸含量影响较大,棕榈酸、硬脂酸和油酸含量在高肥处理下较高,亚油酸和亚麻酸在低肥处理下含量较高。  相似文献

The effect of the micronutrient manganese (Mn) on the physiological performance of green gram [Vigna radiata (L.) R. Wilczek] under saline condition was studied in the present work. Green gram was grown under controlled conditions and treated with different concentrations of sodium chloride (NaCl): 100, 200, and 300 mM. The plant samples were analyzed from 25 to 65 days of plant growth at every 10-day interval. Significant difference was observed in leaf area index, membrane stability index, nitrate reductase enzyme activity, total chlorophyll, and carotenoid content in treated plants. A drastic reduction was recorded at 200 and 300 mM NaCl treated plants in the parameters. The concentration 100 mM resulted in a slight increase of the parameters. Foliar application of Mn as manganese chloride (MnCl2) was found to improve the physiological parameters in green gram at 200 and 300 mM salinity level and was useful in alleviating the detrimental effects of NaCl.  相似文献

The variation in the seed shape, colour and yield, and content, yield and fatty acid composition of seed oil of 109 accessions of opium poppy Papaver somniferum, (majority of them Indian land races), was investigated. The seeds were white, pale yellow or light brown in colour, reniform or round in shape and varied in size up to three fold. The oil content, seed and the oil yield varied between 26 to 52%, 1.0 to 7.4 g/plant and 0.4 to 2.7 g/plant, respectively. The % content of palmitic, oleic and linoleic acid in the seed oil ranged between 9.3 to 40.0%, 7.5 to 58.4% and 0.7 to 72.7%, respectively. On average basis, the levels of major fatty acids in the seed oil were: oleic (37.1%) > palmitic (27.3%) > linoleic acid (17.2%). The palmitoleic, stearic and linolenic acids were present in the oils of only some of the accessions. Two of the accessions yielded linoleic acid rich seed oil of about the same quality as soybean and maize oils, and in four accessions, the proportion of palmitic, oleic and linoleic acids was roughly equal. The palmitic acid was relatively less and linoleic acid more in the seed oil from accessions rich in oil content. The oil that contained higher amount of oleic acid also contained higher amount of palmitic acid and relatively lower amount of linoleic acid. The correlation analyses revealed a strong positive relationship between seed yield and oil yield (r = +0.81), oil yield and oil content (r = +0.54) and oleic acid and palmitic acid content in the seed oil (r = +0.49), and a weak positive relationship between oil content and linoleic acid content of oil (r = +0.24), and a negative correlation was observed between oil content and palmitic acid content (r = –0.32), palmitic acid and linoleic acid (r = –0.55) and oleic acid and linoleic acid contents of oil (r = –0.68). The observations have permitted selection of accessions that are high seed and oil yielding and/or rich in linoleic, palmitic and oleic acids or containing palmitic, oleic and linoleic acids in about equal amounts.  相似文献

Although lipids and fatty acids (FA) represent only 1–3% of the grain weight, they can play an important role in regulating, modulating, and determining several chemical and physical properties of the grain and corresponding malts. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationships between the content of FA in grain, malt, and wort with malt quality characteristics such as hot water extract (HWE) and apparent attenuation limit (AAL) in different commercial malting barley varieties. High and positive correlations were found between myristic acid and HWE (r = 0.71) and between stearic acid and AAL (r = 0.76), with intermediate correlations between palmitic, oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acids and AAL (r = >0.50) in grain. High and negative correlations were found between stearic acid and HWE (r = –0.66), and high and negative correlations were found between palmitic (r = −0.74) and linoleic (r = −0.60) acids and AAL in the wort. Results from this study showed that lipids, as well as the combination of unsaturated and saturated FA, might play a role in determining differences in HWE and AAL between the barley varieties analyzed. No clear evidence on HWE was observed when grain and malt samples from the same variety were compared. These results indicated that lipids and FA should be considered together with starch properties to explain differences between HWE and AAL.  相似文献

This study was carried out in order to determine the effect of various manganese fertilizers [manganese sulfate (MnSO4.3H2O) (MS), 27% manganese (Mn) and manganese ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (Mn-EDTA) (ME), 12% Mn], their doses (0, 6, 9, 12 mg Mn kg?1 for the soil and 0, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4% for the leaf) on yield and net return of dwarf bean. Field experiments were conducted in the randomized blocks split plot design with four replications under Konya ecological conditions in Turkey. Soil applications were made on bands as a single application at sowing whereas foliar applications (FA) were made at two times. Results of the field experiments showed the highest bean yields were significantly obtained by the fertilizer of ME-FA sprayed (243.80 and 257.74 kg da?1). For both years, the lowest yields were obtained by the MS-SA applications (166.97 and 180.60 kg da?1). The maximum net income was US $104.16 da?1 and US $156.06 da?1 by years.  相似文献

To increase iron (Fe) concentration in edible portions of staple food crops, an agronomic approach via foliar Fe-containing solutions might be sustainable and economical strategy; however, little information is available in the literature. So the present work was carried out to examine the effects of Fe in association with boron (B) foliar fertilization on Fe biofortification and the nutritional quality of rice (Oryza sativa L.) grain. The work was conducted in 2006 at the research experiment station at Zhejiang University on japonica rice ‘Bing 98110’ planted on a silty loam soil in pots. The following spray treatments were performed at rice anthesis: (1) control (the deionized water spray); (2) 0.1% (w/v) FeSO4 · 7H2O; (3) 0.1% (w/v) Fe(II)-AA (Complex of 0.1% FeSO4 · 7H2O and 0.4% compound amino acids; 18.6% N); (4) 0.2% (w/v) H3BO3 (boric acid, 17.5% B); (5) combined spray of 0.1% (w/v) FeSO4 · 7H2O and 0.2% (w/v) H3BO3; (6) combined spray of 0.1% (w/v) Fe(II)-AA and 0.2% (w/v) H3BO3. Foliar Fe and B complex application did biofortify Fe concentration and other measured nutritive values in polished rice. Compared to the control, Fe concentration in seed increased significantly 18.9% with the combination of foliar Fe(II)-AA and B, Zn content increased significantly 26.7%, and protein and total 16 amino acids, such as lysine, threonine, and arginine that were essential for human nutrition as well as glutamic acid, aspartic acid, valine, leucine, and phenylalanine, etc., also increased markedly by 30.9% and by 37.0%, respectively.  相似文献

为优化水酶法提取山核桃油脂工艺,以山核桃为原料,采用水酶法提取油脂,在单因素试验基础上,采用响应面法研究木瓜蛋白酶用量、酶解时间、pH值、酶解温度和料液比对山核桃油提取率的影响;采用气相色谱-质谱联用技术分析提取油脂的脂肪酸组成,并对比了压榨法、溶剂法和水酶法3种方式对油脂理化性质的影响。结果表明,水酶法提取山核桃油脂工艺的最佳条件为:木瓜蛋白酶量0.17%,酶解时间150 min,pH值6.34,酶解温度54.43℃、料液比1∶5,在此条件下山核桃中油脂提取率为81.32%。采用气相色谱-质谱联用技术对提取油脂的脂肪酸组成进行分析,共测出12种脂肪酸,棕榈酸、油酸、亚油酸、亚麻酸是4种主要脂肪酸,其中饱和脂肪酸(SFA)占7.61%,单不饱和脂肪酸(MUFA)占69.10%,多不饱和脂肪酸(PUFA)占23.29%。对比3种提油方式发现,水酶法是一种较为理想的油脂提取方法。本研究结果为水酶法提取山核桃油脂生产提供了理论依据。  相似文献

Proximate composition and fatty acid profile, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) isomers included, were determined in separable lean of raw and cooked lamb rib loins. The cooking methods compared, which were also investigated for cooking yields and true nutrient retention values, were dry heating of fat-on cuts and moist heating of fat-off cuts; the latter method was tested as a sort of dietetic approach against the more traditional former type. With significantly (P < 0.05) lower cooking losses, dry heating of fat-on rib-loins produced slightly (although only rarely significantly) higher retention values for all of the nutrients considered, including CLA isomers. On the basis of the retention values obtained, both techniques led to a minimum migration of lipids into the separable lean, which was higher (P < 0.05) in dry heating than in moist heating, and was characterized by the prevalence of saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids. On the whole, the response to cooking of the class of CLA isomers (including that of the nutritionally most important isomer cis-9,trans-11) was more similar to that of the monounsaturated than the polyunsaturated fatty acids.  相似文献

Sunflower mutant lines with high saturated fatty acid content (palmitic or stearic) in the oil have a completely different set of triacylglycerols (TAG), some of which were not found in standard sunflowers. For optimum seed germination, all of these new TAG species must be effectively catabolized. The behavior of the TAG composition during germination in cotyledons of all these mutant lines showed two different phases: an initial phase (between 0 and 2 days after sowing) with a higher catalytic activity and a preference for TAG containing at least two oleic acid molecules and a second phase with lower TAG degradation rate and a low preference for TAG containing two saturated fatty acids usually accompanied by linoleic acid. Despite the elevated content of saturated fatty acids in some TAG species, the total TAG degradation rate and germination process were similar in these lines, suggesting that sunflower seed lipases do not show a marked preference for any TAG species.  相似文献

由于土壤中锰的有效性随pH和Eh的变化而变化,利用土壤测试方法得到的锰素营养丰缺指标,通常难以代表田间锰素营养的实际状况.然而,在应用土壤pH和氧化锰溶解度的关系时,某些文献的不确切解释,引起一些误解.本实验研究了在浓HCl、HNO3和H2SO4及其稀溶液的不同浓度情况下对二氧化锰-水钠锰矿(MnO2)的溶解能力和机理,以及三种卤素还原剂(KCl、KBr和KI)在两种pH值条件下对MnO2的还原能力,从实验上和理论上进一步阐明了pH和Eh对MnO2溶解度的影响.实验结果表明,在浓HCl中,MnO2能被Cl-迅速还原而溶解.而在浓HNO3和H2SO4溶液中,MnO2不能被酸所直接溶解,只能被酸中的H2O缓慢还原,放置两年后反应仍未到达终点.在稀酸溶液中,当H+强度小于0.5 mol L-1(pH>1.0)时,三种强酸对MnO2都无明显的溶解能力;当H+强度>1.0 mol L-1时,HCl对MnO2的溶解能力显著地高于HNO3和H2SO4.三种卤盐溶液对MnO2的还原能力为KI>KBr>KCl,并随pH的降低和浓度的升高而增强.当pH>3时,KCl对MnO2的还原能力极弱;而无论pH高低(pH3或pH5),KI在很低浓度(0.001 mol L-1)时都能有效地还原MnO2.上述结果说明,如果二氧化锰不被还原,仅改变pH则很难被溶解.然而,在较高pH条件下,如有强还原剂存在,也有相当量的MnO2被还原.低Eh和pH条件下最有利于MnO2的还原.  相似文献

Seasonal variations of fatty acids in various Korean shellfish were investigated in relation to the changes in total fatty acids contents, the ratio of polyunsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids (P/S), and that of n-3 fatty acids to n-6 fatty acids (n-3/n-6). A distinct seasonal pattern was found in total fatty acids contents with maximal values in early summer and minimal values in late summer. The percentage of monounsaturated fatty acids was lowest in most species throughout the year. In summer months, the proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids decreased while that of saturated fatty acids increased. The major contributing factor to the seasonal variation of polyunsaturated fatty acids was n-3 fatty acids. These results led to the lowest levels of P/S and n-3/n-6 in summer. Nevertheless, the data suggest that bivalve shellfish would be excellent sources of n-3 fatty acids, especially eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid.  相似文献

Experiments were conducted in 2009–2010 at the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center of Yazd, Iran, to study the effect of nitrogen levels and plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) containing Azotobacter sp. and Azospirillum sp. on seed yield, its components and quality traits of sesame cultivars. Treatments were arranged in a factorial experiment based on randomized complete block design with nitrogen rates (0 (control), 25 and 50 kg N ha?1), cultivars (Darab-14, GL-13 and local) and N-fixing bacteria levels (non-inoculation and inoculation) were applied with three replications. Nitrogen fertilizer significantly increased yield and yield components, but reduced oil content in 2010. Inoculating seeds with PGPR increased yield and yield components of sesame cultivars compared to the control treatment. Seed yield in PGPR inoculation with half a rate of N fertilizer treatment was more than seed yield in the full rate of N fertilizer without a PGPR inoculation treatment. N fertilizer and PGPR application significantly decreased saturated fatty acids (palmitic and stearic acid) while it significantly increased unsaturated fatty acids (oleic and linoleic acid). Oleic acid had a significant negative correlation with linoleic acid (r = ?0.79). The result showed that an application of PGPR could be usefully applied to reduce use of chemical fertilizer.  相似文献

Twelve pumpkin cultivars (Cucurbita maxima D.), cultivated in Iowa, were studied for their seed oil content, fatty acid composition, and tocopherol content. Oil content ranged from 10.9 to 30.9%. Total unsaturated fatty acid content ranged from 73.1 to 80.5%. The predominant fatty acids present were linoleic, oleic, palmitic, and stearic. Significant differences were observed among the cultivars for stearic, oleic, linoleic, and gadoleic acid content of oil. Low linolenic acid levels were observed (<1%). The tocopherol content of the oils ranged from 27.1 to 75.1 microg/g of oil for alpha-tocopherol, from 74.9 to 492.8 microg/g for gamma-tocopherol, and from 35.3 to 1109.7 microg/g for delta-tocopherol. The study showed potential for pumpkin seed oil from all 12 cultivars to have high oxidative stability that would be suitable for food and industrial applications, as well as high unsaturation and tocopherol content that could potentially improve the nutrition of human diets.  相似文献
