【目的】 研究催乳素(PRL)对内蒙古绒山羊初级毛囊和次级毛囊体外生长及形态变化的影响。【方法】 机械法结合切割法分离内蒙古绒山羊的初级毛囊和次级毛囊,在初级毛囊培养液中分别添加0、5、10、50、100 ng/mL催乳素进行体外培养,每组24根,共培养5 d,每天在显微镜下观察其形态并拍照,统计其生长长度、生长速度和存活率,筛选出最适催乳素处理浓度。然后将初级毛囊与次级毛囊分别分为初级毛囊对照组(PF-K)、初级毛囊试验组(PF-PRL)、次级毛囊对照组(SF-K)、次级毛囊试验组(SF-PRL),每组24根,对照组用基础培养液培养,试验组在基础培养液中添加最适浓度的催乳素,培养5 d,每天观察毛囊的形态并拍照,同时测量各组毛囊的生长长度。【结果】 10 ng/mL催乳素组毛囊的平均日生长长度均极显著高于其他浓度组(P<0.01),最终生长长度和存活率均最高,因此,后续试验选择10 ng/mL催乳素处理毛囊。试验组和对照组初/次级毛囊的毛干与根鞘部位同时伸长,随着培养时间的增加均出现不同程度的弯曲。PF-PRL、SF-PRL组毛囊在2~5 d的总长度分别极显著高于PF-K、SF-K组(P<0.01)。PF-K组除第1天与第0天差异不显著外,1~5 d毛囊的总长度依次显著增加(P<0.05);PF-PRL组0~5 d毛囊的总长度依次显著增加(P<0.05)。SF-K组毛囊第5天的总长度显著高于0~4 d (P<0.05);SF-PRL组第4、5天毛囊的总长度均显著高于0~3 d (P<0.05),第3天毛囊的总长度显著高于0~2 d (P<0.05)。PF-PRL、SF-PRL组毛囊在2~5 d的平均日生长长度分别极显著高于PF-K、SF-K组(P<0.01)。【结论】 10 ng/mL催乳素是体外促进毛囊生长的最适浓度,10 ng/mL催乳素对体外培养的内蒙古绒山羊的初级毛囊和次级毛囊均有极显著的促生长作用。  相似文献

Agroforestry in the management of sloping lands in Asia and the Pacific   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:2  
Steeply sloping lands are widespread in the tropics. An estimated 500 million people practice subsistence agriculture in these marginal areas. Continued population growth has led to the intensified cultivation of large areas of the sloping lands, exacerbating the problem of soil erosion. Although research shows that alley cropping and other contour agroforestry systems can stabilize the sloping lands, these systems have not been widely adopted by farmers. The Framework for Evaluating Sustainable Land Management (FESLM) has been tested in sloping land areas in the Philippines. Sustainable land management must be productive, stable, viable, and acceptable to farmers, while protecting soil and water resources. Farms on which contour hedgerow intercropping has been adopted meet the multifaceted requirements of FESLM, whereas the farmers' current practice does not. Appropriate land management measures for particular locations depend on a complex suite of social, economic, and biophysical factors, and need to be developed in participation with farmers. The role of agroforestry in sustainable management of sloping lands is the subject of networks coordinated by the International Board for Soil Research and Management (IBSRAM) in seven countries in Asia (ASIALAND) and four countries in the Pacific (PACIFICLAND). We review selected outcomes from a wealth of network data. From these results the following conclusions about the sustainability of various agroforestry systems for sloping lands can be drawn: • In the Pacific, soil loss from sloping lands due to water erosion under farmers' current practices is episodic, unpredictable, and possibly not severe; • Agroforestry systems that utilize legume shrubs, fruit trees, coffee (Coffea spp.) or rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) provide useful economic returns, but are not an essential component in terms of soil protection because grass or pineapple (Ananas comosus) planted on the contour are equally effective in reducing erosion; • Agricultural intensification will lead to nutrient mining, reduction of aboveground biomass, declining yields, and less soil protection unless external sources of nutrients are used; • nitrogen can be effectively supplied using legumes; • Cash derived from hedgerow trees and/or shrubs may providean incentive for their adoption by farmers, as well as funds to purchase external inputs such as fertilizers; • Labor may be a major constraint to the adoption of complex agroforestry systems. We also discuss the information management systems required to effectively manage and utilize the extensive sets of experimental and indigenous data being accumulated. We believe such information systems can facilitate technology transfer across and between regions, and improve the efficiency of research into agroforestry and other land-management approaches. The well-developed defense barriers of the CNS and the expense of drug therapy limit the pharmacologic options for the treatment of neurologic diseases in horses. New approaches to controlling inflammation in the CNS are improving the outcomes of bacterial meningitis. The appropriate treatment of EPM remains controversial. More research is needed to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs in the CNS of the horse. Behavioral pharmacology has become fashionable in human and small animal medicine, but it needs to be evaluated for the potential of unethical use in performance horses.  相似文献

The variable degree of success obtained with sod-seeded lucerne in the north-eastern United States had been attributed to slug and insect activity, although the evidence was circumstantial. Our aims were to examine the effects of a molluscicide (methiocarb) and an insecticide (carbofuran), and their interaction with level of vegetative cover on response of sod-seeded lucerne plants (establishment and damage) and slug numbers and to determine what relationship (if any) there was between slug numbers and plant response. Results are based on six field experiments seeded in mid-August and early September 1980 at Ithaca, NY. Removal of vegetation and application of pesticides reduced seedling losses and damage and generally reduced slug numbers, but response to the pesticides varied according to presence or absence of vegetative cover and whether the experimental site carried a ‘high’ or ‘low’ slug activity. As reflected by increased seedling numbers and reduced damage, the main response to molluscicide (and insecticide) occurred in the presence of cover at ‘low’ activity sites. However, at the site with a ‘high’ slug activity, slug numbers were reduced by the molluscicide only where cover had been removed. It was concluded that insects and slugs, particularly the latter, can seriously limit establishment of sod-seeded lucerne in the north-eastern United States.  相似文献

At varying environmental temperatures, measurements of body temperatures and gas exchange of a female Indian python (Python molurus bivittatus) show that during the brooding period this animal can regulate its body temperature by physiological means analogous to those in endotherms. Ambient temperatures below 33 degrees C result in spasmodic contractions of the body musculature with a consequent increase in metabolism and body temperature.  相似文献
