The biochemical and serological characteristics of 486 P. haemolytica and 31 P. trehalosi strains (517 in total) isolated from different lesions of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry were examined. A total of 476 P. haemolytica strains (97.9%) showed the characteristics typical of the former biotype A of P. haemolytica, while 10 isolates (2.1%), all from poultry, could not be biotyped. A total of 481 strains (93.0%) could be assigned to one of the 17 serotypes of P. haemolytica-P. trehalosi and 36 strains (7.0%) could not. The majority (83.6%) of the cattle isolates were serotypes A1 and A2. Among strains isolated from sheep all serotypes of P. haemolytica could be identified with the exception of A14, but serotypes A1, A2, A6, A8 and A5 were the most frequent. The overwhelming majority (94%) of the caprine isolates were A2, other serotypes occurred only sporadically. The pig isolates, which could be isolated only very rarely, represented different serotypes, while none of the 10 strains isolated from poultry could be biotyped or serotyped. 相似文献

This work proposes the use of a diisocyanate as curing agent for novolac-type lignin–phenol–formaldehyde (LPF) resins, instead of typical hexamethylene–tetraamine (HMTA), with the aim of overcoming the loss of reactivity of lignophenolic resins resulting from the introduction of lignin. Curing LPF resins with methylene–diisocyanate (MDI) and HMTA has been investigated through Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and rheological analysis. The analysis of experimental results shows that the proposed curing reaction with MDI gives similar results to those for HMTA-cured systems. A collaborative study for the determination of sodium saccharin, sodium benzoate, and caffeine in 3 types of soda beverage, cola, grape, and lemon-lime, has been completed using reverse phase high pressure liquid chromatography with a muC18 column and acetic acid mobile phase. Recoveries for sodium saccharin were 98.6, 98.0, and 99.1%; for sodium benzoate, 100.6, 102.6, and 100.6%; and for caffeine, 100.8, 101.4, and 101.1%, respectively. Urban soils (Urbic Technosols) formed within or near the industrial sites removed of service show a considerable excess over the regional background in the content of Pb, Zn, Cu, Mn, Cr, Ni, as well as over the average content of W, Mo, Pb, Sb, Cr, Cu, Sn, Ni, Zn, and Mn in urban soils. Microelements are concentrated for the most part in the soil fine earth, and above all, in the fraction with particle size <0.1 mm. Surface films (on quartz and feldspar grains) of quartz–feldspar–muscovite (partially with tremolite and chlorite) composition and undifferentiated dispersed mixture of quartz, albite, microcline, muscovite and organomineral soil substance are the strongest concentrators of heavy metals and metalloids. Pb and Sn are partially present in soils as oxides, and a part of Zn and Pb, in the form of substantial admixtures to technogenic chemical compounds. As a whole, distribution of elements in the studied soils is controlled by the specifics and type of contamination, resistance of coarser grains to weathering under the given physicochemical conditions, and by predominantly mineral (quartz–feldspar) composition of the solids in soil layers and the features of elements proper. 相似文献

A fast HPLC method for the determination of the oxygen heterocyclic compounds of citrus essential oils was developed. Five different oils were analyzed under identical conditions, by reversed-phase HPLC with photodiode array detector, for a direct comparison of the composition of their oxygen heterocyclic fraction. Analysis time was 7 min. The oils analyzed were lemon, bergamot, mandarin, sweet orange, and bitter orange. The method developed is good for rapid screening or fingerprinting of these essential oils; a slightly slower method is recommended for higher resolution and better quantitative results. 相似文献
