The study investigated the potential effect of the microbial fermented feed utilization on physicochemical traits, antioxidant enzyme and trace mineral analysis in rabbit meat. A total of 72 six-week-old male rabbits were weighed and randomly divided into four groups (1) (SRKC) control; (2) (SRKP) Lactobacillus plantarum 1 × 106 cfu/g fresh weight (FW); (3) (SRKG) Pediococcus acidilactici 1 × 106cfu/g FW and (4) (SRKPG) P. acidilactici + L. plantarum 1 × 106 cfu/g FW. Performance characteristic, weekly body weight, was positively (p < .05) enhanced, while daily feed intake (DFI) and feed convention ratio (FCR) were not influenced in treatments group as compared to untreated. The water, protein, water holding capacity (WHC) and dry matter (DM) concentration were positively (p < .05) influenced, while ash, pH, lightness, redness and yellowness were not influenced in treated group as compared to untreated. The concentration of glutathione peroxidase (Gpx), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) was positively (p < .05) influenced in treatments group as compared to control. Regarding trace minerals, copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn) and zinc (Zn) were positively (p > .05) reduced in treated group as compared to untreated. It is concluded that the addition of lactic acid bacteria (L. plantarum and P. acidilactici) in Hybrid pennisetum silage had a constructive influence on rabbit health performance and meat biochemistry.  相似文献

The rice cultivars carrying dep1 (dense and erect panicle 1) have the potential to achieve both high grain yield and high nitrogen use efficiency (NUE).  However, few studies have focused on the agronomic and physiological performance of those cultivars associated with high yield and high NUE under field conditions.  Therefore, we evaluated the yield performance and NUE of two near-isogenic lines (NILs) carrying DEP1 (NIL-DEP1) and dep1-1 (NIL-dep1) genes under the Nanjing 6 background at 0 and 120 kg N ha–1.  Grain yield and NUE for grain production (NUEg) were 25.5 and 21.9% higher in NIL-dep1 compared to NIL-DEP1 averaged across N treatments and planting years, respectively.  The yield advantage of NIL-dep1 over NIL-DEP1 was mainly due to larger sink size (i.e., higher total spikelet number), grain-filling percentage, total dry matter production, and harvest index.  N utilization rather than N uptake contributed to the high yield of NIL-dep1.  Significantly higher NUEg in NIL-dep1 was associated with higher N and dry matter translocation efficiency, lower leaf and stem N concentration at maturity, and higher glutamine synthetase (GS) activity in leaves.  In conclusion, dep1 improved grain yield and NUE by increasing N and dry matter transport due to higher leaf GS activity under field conditions during the grain-filling period.  相似文献

A feeding trial using five semi-purified diets (50% crude protein) was conducted to investigate the effects of different dietary amino acid patterns on growth and body composition of juvenile Japanese flounder. The control diet contained casein and gelatin as intact protein sources and four other diets contained 30% casein–gelatin (2:1, w/w) and 20% crystalline amino acids (CAA). CAA were added to the diets to simulate the amino acid pattern found in red sea bream egg protein (REP), Japanese flounder larvae whole body protein (FLP), Japanese flounder juvenile whole body protein (FJP), and brown fish meal protein (BFP), respectively. The test diets were fed to triplicate groups of juveniles (2.75±0.05 g) twice a day for 40 days to evaluate weight gain, survival, feed conversion efficiency (FCE), protein efficiency ratio (PER), and apparent protein utilization (APU). The apparent retention of total dietary amino acids in the whole body and A/E ratios of the whole body were also evaluated. The highest weight gain was observed in fish fed the diet containing the dietary amino acid pattern of BFP followed by fish fed the control, FJP, FLP and the REP diets. Percent survival, FCE, PER and APU were also significantly (P<0.05) affected by the amino acid pattern in the diets, indicating the highest value in fish fed the BFP diet. Except for a few amino acids, the amino acid composition of the whole body did not show marked differences with different dietary amino acid pattern. Results suggest that BFP could be more suitable as a reference amino acid pattern in the diet of juvenile Japanese flounder compared to the amino acid pattern of FLP, FJP or REP.  相似文献

获得田间的玉米植株数量对于优化不同玉米品种的种植密度有重要意义,玉米植株数量也是计算新玉米品种平均每株产量的重要参数。为了减轻人工获得玉米植株数量的劳动强度,提高数据的准确率,该文利用基于机器视觉的图像处理技术来获得玉米植株数量。被留高茬玉米收获机作业之后的地块,有一定高度的玉米秸秆站立在地表,摄录这样的图像信息可以大大简化图像处理的难度,提高结果的精确度,所以将图像采集装置安装在留高茬玉米收获机之后来获得视频流。后处理过程中,将视频文件分解为图片文件,然后将真彩色的RGB图片文件转化成灰度图像进行图片的配准,再将灰度图像转化为二值图像进行图像分割与边界提取,最后找到玉米秸秆断面的几何中心并进行标记,统计标记结果即获得玉米植株数量。试验结果显示,人工播种与机械播种在图像识别的误差上没有显著差异(P0.05);机器视觉识别出来的玉米植株数量与实际数量也没有显著差异(P0.05),其平均误差为6.7%;并且该误差不会随着图像中玉米植株数量的增加而产生积累。该文的设计可以降低机器视觉在识别玉米植株数量过程中的难度,提高图像识别的准确度,更好地服务生产实际问题。  相似文献

The need to identify microbial community parameters that predict microbial activity is becoming more urgent, due to the desire to manage microbial communities for ecosystem services as well as the desire to incorporate microbial community parameters within ecosystem models. In dryland agroecosystems, microbial biomass C (MBC) can be increased by adopting alternative management strategies that increase crop residue retention, nutrient reserves, improve soil structure and result in greater water retention. Changes in MBC could subsequently affect microbial activities related to decomposition, C stabilization and sequestration. We hypothesized that MBC and potential microbial activities that broadly relate to decomposition (basal and substrate-induced respiration, N mineralization, and β-glucosidase and arylsulfatase enzyme activities) would be similarly affected by no-till, dryland winter wheat rotations distributed along a potential evapotranspiration (PET) gradient in eastern Colorado. Microbial biomass was smaller in March 2004 than in November 2003 (417 vs. 231 μg g−1 soil), and consistently smaller in soils from the high PET soil (191 μg g−1) than in the medium and low PET soils (379 and 398 μg g−1, respectively). Among treatments, MBC was largest under perennial grass (398 μg g−1). Potential microbial activities did not consistently follow the same trends as MBC, and the only activities significantly correlated with MBC were β-glucosidase (r = 0.61) and substrate-induced respiration (r = 0.27). In contrast to MBC, specific microbial activities (expressed on a per MBC basis) were greatest in the high PET soils. Specific but not total activities were correlated with microbial community structure, which was determined in a previous study. High specific activity in low biomass, high PET soils may be due to higher microbial maintenance requirements, as well as to the unique microbial community structure (lower bacterial-to-fungal fatty acid ratio and lower 17:0 cy-to-16:1ω7c stress ratio) associated with these soils. In conclusion, microbial biomass should not be utilized as the sole predictor of microbial activity when comparing soils with different community structures and levels of physiological stress, due to the influence of these factors on specific activity.  相似文献

Pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) can reach soil and aquatic environments through land application of wastewater effluent and agricultural runoff. The objective of this research was to assess the fate of PPCPs at field scale. PPCPs were measured systematically in a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), and in soil and groundwater receiving treated effluent from the WWTP. A land application site in West Texas was used as the study site; it has received treated wastewater effluent from the WWTP for more than 70 years in order to remove additional nutrients and irrigate non-edible crops. Target compounds (estrone, 17??-estradiol, estriol, 17??-ethynylestradiol, triclosan, caffeine, ibuprofen, and ciprofloxacin) in wastewater, sewage sludge, soil, and groundwater were determined using HPLC/UV with qualitative confirmatory analyses using GC/MS. Samples were collected quarterly over 12 months for wastewater and sludge samples and over 9 months for soil and groundwater samples. Results indicated that concentrations of PPCPs in wastewater influent, effluent, sludge solid phase, and sludge liquid phase were in the range of non-detected (ND)-183 ??g/L, ND-83 ??g/L, ND-19 ??g/g, and ND-50 ??g/L, respectively. Concentrations in soil and groundwater samples were in the range of ND-319 ng/g and ND-1,745 ??g/L, respectively. GC/MS confirmation data were consistent with the results of HPLC/UV analyses. Overall, data indicate that PPCPs in the wastewater effluent from the WWTP transport both vertically and horizontally in the soil, and eventually reach groundwater following land application of the effluent.  相似文献
