64-Channel multi-detector row CT angiographic evaluation of the micropigs for potential living donor lung transplantation

Micropigs are the most likely source animals for xenotransplantation. However, an appropriate method for evaluating the lung of micropigs had not been established. Therefore, this study was performed to evaluate the feasibility of 64-channel multi-detector row computed tomography (MDCT) to measure the diameter of the pulmonary arteries and the lung volume in micropigs. The mean diameters of the trachea, and left and right bronchi were 1.6 ± 0.17, 1.18 ± 0.14, and 1.1 ± 0.11 cm, respectively. The mean diameters of the main, right, and left pulmonary arteries were 1.38 ± 0.09, 1.07 ± 0.26, and 0.98 ± 0.13 cm and the diameters of right, left, and common inferior pulmonary veins were 0.97 ± 0.20, 0.76 ± 0.20, and 1.99 ± 0.26 cm, respectively. The mean lung volume was 820.3 ± 77.11 mL. The data presented in this study suggest that the MDCT may be a noninvasive, rapid, and accurate investigational method for pulmonary anatomy in living lung donors.  相似文献   

Haemoglobin in normal and neoplastic canine mammary glands

Four types of globins for oxygen transport are known in vertebrates, and the haemoglobin is responsible for carrying oxygen in blood. In this study, we found that haemoglobin was also expressed in canine mammary glands. Samples were taken from 26 malignant mammary tumors, 16 normal mammary glands and 10 other normal tissues. Sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), immunoblotting and mass spectrometry were used to investigate haemoglobin in mammary tissues. The results indicated that normal canine mammary glands expressed high levels of haemoglobin protein as shown by Coomassie blue staining. The identity of haemoglobin was confirmed by immunoblotting and mass spectrometry, and the mass spectrometry data revealed that both alpha-haemoglobin and beta-haemoglobin were expressed. Relative to normal mammary glands, the levels of haemoglobin expression in mammary tumors were lower. Our results also indicated that the haemoglobin was endogenously produced in mammary gland tissues and was not derived from the erythroid cells.  相似文献

东北林蛙卵蛋白含量丰富,是林蛙产业中尚待开发利用的副产品。本试验研究了东北林蛙卵蛋白的抗疲劳活性。取雄性昆明小鼠,体重18~22g,随机分为空白对照组、林蛙卵蛋白(低、中、高)剂量3组,连续灌胃35d,分别测量小鼠的体重变化情况、负重游泳力竭时间、肝糖原和血乳酸的含量。结果表明,东北林蛙卵蛋白对小鼠体重增长无显著影响,可降低运动后小鼠血乳酸含量,增加小鼠负重游泳时间及肝糖原含量。研究显示,东北林蛙卵蛋白具有增加小鼠抗疲劳的活性作用。  相似文献   

Antipruritic activity of extracts of Humulus scandens, the combinations of bioactive flavonoids

The antipruritic effects of the ethanol fractions of Humulus scandens on the 4-AP (4-aminopyridine)-induced and chloroquine-induced scratching in ICR mice were examined. The 40% ethanol fractions of H. scandens suppressed both the 4-AP- and chloroquine-induced scratching behavior, which significantly inhibited degranulation of rat peritoneal mast cell and antigen-stimulated histamine release. Further studies proved that the 40% ethanol fractions of H. scandens decreased the content of IL4 in serum of chloroquine-induced scratching ICR mice. The results suggest that the 40% ethanol fractions of H. scandens has antipruritic effects on both antihistamine-resistant and -sensitive pruritus.  相似文献

大气污染是人类面临的严重环境问题之一,植物除了可以监测大气的污染外,在近地表大气污染物的清除中起着重要作用。利用植物净化大气污染物是1种低碳、有效、非破坏型的环境污染修复方式,植物净化污染大气的思想及其技术对城市园林绿化、环境规划和生态环境建设等具有直接的指导意义和应用价值。笔者介绍了大气污染的种类、植物净化大气污染的机理、植物净化大气污染的主要过程,提出了筛选高效净化植物、开发联合修复技术、培育转基因净化植物及合理植物配置等是未来研究的主要方向。  相似文献

采用土培试验研究了河北省20个白菜主要栽培品种吸收累积重金属Cd的特征和质量安全性。试验结果表明,在土壤加入同一Cd含量（1.0、5.0 mg/kg）的条件下,不同白菜品种地上部的Cd含量、吸Cd量和对Cd的富集系数均存在明显的差异(p<0.05) ,最高相差近3-4倍。按严格的蔬菜标准GB15201—94规定蔬菜中Cd最高允许限量标准0.05 mg/kg,种植白菜新北京三号、北京小杂60、太空三号和丰抗78在土壤Cd含量达到1.0 mg/kg时生产的白菜仍能符合食品安全标准。按GB2762—2005规定的叶菜类蔬菜中Cd最高允许限量标准,即使土壤Cd含量达到5.0 mg/kg时,种植的白菜新北京三号、北京小杂60和丰抗78仍是安全的。同一白菜品种的Cd富集系数是相对稳定,可以作为白菜安全生产时品种选择的重要指标。  相似文献   

辐照处理对马铃薯粉降解作用的研究

为探明辐照对马铃薯粉的降解作用,采用不同剂量60Co-γ射线对其进行处理。结果表明,马铃薯粉经50~400 kGy剂量辐照处理后,颗粒形貌没有发生改变,但在冷水中的溶解度大大增加,其中经400 kGy剂量辐照处理后,溶解度达61%。辐照的直接糖化效率随处理剂量的加大而增加,其中以400 kGy剂量处理的最明显,糖化值（DE值）达5.1%。辐照处理的降解产物以麦芽糖和葡萄糖为主。试验证明60Co-γ射线能有效降解马铃薯粉,并可产生可发酵性糖。  相似文献
