The idea for an expert system approach to the computer aided design of intelligent controllers (ESCAD1C) is discussed and the idea of two step modelling of an intelligent controller is presented on the basis of emulating human control behaviours to solve complex problems. The structure, functions and characteristics of ESCADTC system , and the design procedures of intelligent controllers are gived. Frequency refining is an important spectrum analyzing tool, and is one of the main function of signal processing and the virtual instrument. This paper introduces several typical frequency refining analysis methods including DFT and multiple modulation and so on. It also probes into their advantages and disadvantages, and proposes a new frequency refining method combining subband decomposing DFT and multiple modulation, which inherits the advantages of multiple modulation, needs not to design a specific filter, reduces the amount of calculation, and is fit for real-time refining analysis. Based on the optimal control theory and Lagrange interpolation an optimal design model of plane cascades of 3D blade in an arbitrary surface of revolution is established.
