Evidence is presented demonstrating that associative learning during oviposition in Crataegus or apple hosts can significantly influence the propensity of apple maggot flies to accept or reject these hosts in future encounters. Mimicry where prey resemble predators to avoid predation is unusual. Snowberry flies, Rhagoletis zephyria Snow, possess striped wing patterns that resemble the legs of jumping spiders. Observations and comparisons of responses of the jumping spider Salticus scenicus (Clerck) to conspecifics, snowberry flies, and other prey flies showed that snowberry flies can avoid predation by jumping spiders through spider mimicry. The mimicry effect was decreased by obliterating snowberry fly wing stripes.  相似文献

尼龙袋法评定鹿常用饲料的营养价值   总被引:6,自引:1,他引:5  
用3头装有永久性瘤胃瘘管的成年公梅花鹿,采用尼龙袋法,评定了49种73个样品鹿常用饲料的干物质有效降解率(DMD,下同),蛋白质有效降解率(CPD,下同),有机物有效降解率(OMD,下同)。结果表明,尼龙袋法能较好地评定梅花鹿饲料的DMD、CPD、OMD和反映饲料品质差异;同类不同种饲料及同种饲料因收获期不同、处理不同、部位不同其DMD、CPD、OMD差异较大;同种不同产地饲料间的DMD、CPD亦有差别。  相似文献

There are several biopesticides based on entomopathogenic fungi available in the market for use against insect pests in greenhouse ecosystems.Although most are compatible for use with predators and parasitoids in greenhouse ecosystems,much more research is needed to determine the intraguild interactions for each combination of host, pathogen, predator, and parasitoid.Our research has demonstrated that, although direct effects on the predators could be demonstrated in laboratory bioassays, different results were found under greenhouse conditions, indicating that results obtained in the laboratory may be a poor predictor of what occurs in the greenhouse.In both cases, additive effects were obtained under greenhouse conditions,demonstrating compatibility. In addition, there is increasing evidence that entomopathogenic fungi have significant potential for dual management of invertebrate pests and plant pathogens.Our studies demonstrated that 3 species of Lecanicillium had significant effects on both aphids and cucumber powdery mildew, Sphaerotheca fuliginea;that the fungus Paecilomyces fumosoroseus was compatible with a mirid predator,Disyphus hesperus,when used concurrently against greenhouse whitefly,Trialeurodes vaporariorum;and that Lecaniciullium longisporum was compatible with a predatory midge,Aphidoletes aphidimyza when used concurrently against green peach aphids.  相似文献

免疫调节剂与抗球虫药联合应用的抗球虫效果   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
为探讨免疫调节剂对鸡球虫病的免疫反应调节作用,设计并进行了免疫调节剂与抗球虫药合用的效果的研究。试验结果以抗球虫指数的测定来判定抗球虫药与免疫调节剂合用的效果。结果表明,免疫调节剂与抗球虫药合用状态下,抗球虫指数检测显示免疫调节剂卡介苗和黄芪多糖可明显提高抗球虫指数、改善球虫感染鸡的临床症、提高增重速度等,为控制球虫病提供了新的途径。  相似文献

将1150只感染有草原革蜱和森林革蜱的绵羊分为3个组,分别为驱蜱项圈组(400只)、灭蜱灵组(550只)和对照组(200只)。项圈组在治疗后0、7、15、28、45、60、75、95天,羊只平均染蜱数分别为10.3、0.9、0.7、0.3、0.4、0.5、0.5、0.1只;而对照组分别为10.2、9.2、13.6、10、9.2、6.4、8.8、4.2只。灭蜱灵组在治疗后0、18、33、48、68天,羊只平均染蜱数分别为9.8、0.5、0.7、0.5、0.1只,而对照组分别为10、9.2、6.4、8.8、4.2只,表明两个防治组保护效果均较好。  相似文献

Lentiviral delivery of glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (lenti-GDNF) was tested for its trophic effects upon degenerating nigrostriatal neurons in nonhuman primate models of Parkinson's disease (PD). We injected lenti-GDNF into the striatum and substantia nigra of nonlesioned aged rhesus monkeys or young adult rhesus monkeys treated 1 week prior with 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP). Extensive GDNF expression with anterograde and retrograde transport was seen in all animals. In aged monkeys, lenti-GDNF augmented dopaminergic function. In MPTP-treated monkeys, lenti-GDNF reversed functional deficits and completely prevented nigrostriatal degeneration. Additionally, lenti-GDNF injections to intact rhesus monkeys revealed long-term gene expression (8 months). In MPTP-treated monkeys, lenti-GDNF treatment reversed motor deficits in a hand-reach task. These data indicate that GDNF delivery using a lentiviral vector system can prevent nigrostriatal degeneration and induce regeneration in primate models of PD and might be a viable therapeutic strategy for PD patients.  相似文献

将几种旋毛虫抗原以同一浓度(0.6mg/mL)与PAPS微球交联,制成诊断试剂,进行旋毛虫阳性血清检测效果比较试验。结果显示,成虫、成虫ES、新生幼虫、肌幼虫B峰4川抗原均出现非特异性反应,而肌幼虫、肌幼虫ES、肌幼虫A峰抗原具有很高的敏感性,三者效价均达1:640。将此3种抗原所制得的诊断试剂对几种寄生虫阳性血清进行交叉试验,显示肌幼虫ES抗原对血吸虫、锥虫、弓形虫、肺吸虫、牛肝片吸虫、羊肝片吸虫阳性血清均不出现交叉反应,而肌幼虫A峰抗原、肌幼虫抗原对牛、羊肝片吸虫均出现交叉反应,对其他血清则不出现。表明肌幼虫ES抗原效果最佳,特异性最好,有很高的应用价值。  相似文献
