1. An experiment was performed to elucidate the subsequent effects of high-non-phytate phosphorus (NPP) diets on growth performance, blood metabolites, bone characteristics and P retention of broilers fed on low-NPP grower diets. The 42-d study was designed as a 2 × 2 × 2 + 1 factorial, which included two starter NPP concentrations (4.5 and 5.5 g/kg; d 0–21), two grower NPP concentrations (1.5 and 2.3 g/kg; d 22–42), with or without phytase (1000 FTU/kg), with a reference diet containing an adequate NPP concentration over the course of the trial.

2. In the starter period, growth performance and P retention were not affected by experimental diets. The high-NPP diet increased plasma P concentration, increased tibia ash and tibia P contents and decreased plasma alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity at d 21.

3. No significant interaction was observed between NPP concentrations in the starter and grower periods and phytase. The main effect data indicated that the increase in NPP concentration in the starter diets had no effects on growth performance in the grower period and overall. The high-NPP diet in the early stage of growth reduced plasma P concentration, plasma ALP activity and tibia ash content at d 42. The main effect data also showed that exogenous phytase increased body weight gain in the grower period and overall.

4. It can be concluded that feeding increased NPP diets have no effects on growth performance in the starter period. This feeding strategy results in negative effects on plasma P concentration and bone ash content at d 42. Also, exogenous phytase is effective in improving growth performance, bone characteristics and apparent P retention of growing broilers fed diets that are inadequate in phosphorus.  相似文献

The genetic diversity among 128 Iranian Rosa persica (R. persica) accessions in the different populations was analyzed. Amplified fragment length polymorphisms (AFLP) technique was used to produce 171 polymorphic fragments. The number of polymorphic loci ranged from 101 to 147 and the polymorphism information content (PIC) varied from 0.289 to 0.073, with an average of 0.16. This shows extreme variability and genetic diversity among the studied R. persica populations. An indirect estimate of the number of migrants per generation (Nm = 0.376) indicated that gene flow was relatively low among populations of the species. Cluster analysis using the UPGMA method grouped all accessions into six clusters. The results did not show relative agreement with the genotypes’ region of origin. Based on an analysis of molecular variance, 48% of the genetic variation of R. persica was within population and 52% was among populations. The present analysis revealed that Iranian R. persica genotypes are highly variable and genetically distinct from their origins. The apparent unique nature of the R. persica genotypes revealed by our results supports the case for the implementation of more intense characterization and conservation strategies, and provides useful information to address breeding programmes and germplasm resource management in Rosa spp.  相似文献

Dinitroanilines represent a class of compounds that are widely used in herbicide formulations as they depolymerise plant microtubles, causing chromosome doubling. The potential of microtubule depolymerising herbicides trifluralin, oryzalin, and amiprophosmethyl (APM) for in vitro chromosome doubling of Rosa was studied. Five concentrations (0, 3, 6, 12 and 24 μM) and three exposure periods (12, 24 and 48 h) for each of the compounds were compared. Oryzalin, trifluralin and APM were not significantly different in their ability to induce chromosome doubling of R. hybrida cv Iceberg. At concentration of 6 μM and exposure period of 24 h, chromosome doubling of R. hybrida cv Iceberg was not significantly different with each of the polyplodising agents. At higher concentration (24 μM) and longer exposure period (48 h), 66.7% and 62.5% chromosome doubling was achieved with APM and trifluralin, respectively. However, the application of 6 μM oryzalin to R. persica (2n = 2x), R. hybrida cv Iceberg (2n = 3x) and R. hybrida cv Akito (2n = 4x), resulted in 60.0%, 6.3% and 0% chromosome doubling, respectively, which suggest that chromosome doubling is genotype dependent and plants with lower ploidy level have a higher propensity for chromosome doubling. Flow cytometry results at 18 and 24 weeks after herbicide treatment, indicated that the best time to test the treated plants was after 24 weeks.  相似文献

In roses the problems associated with inter-specific breeding include low percent of seed set and lack or low percent of seed germination. Low seed set is usually due to non-amenable parents, which may have different ploidy level or other divergences that result in embryo abortion at early stages of development. Lack of seed germination is mostly attributed to the mechanical restrictions such as thick pericarp or the regulatory mechanisms such as the hormonal control of dormancy. The aims of the present investigation were to optimize in vitro embryo germination technique in rose and study the ploidy of progenies resulted from interploidy hybridizations. To optimize embryo germination, seeds were surface sterilized, whole pericarp and testa were removed and embryos were placed on half strength Murashige and Skoog media supplemented with different concentrations (0, 1, 2.5, 5 mg l?1) of benzyladenine (BA) in combination with different concentrations (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 mg l?1) of gibberellic acid. The maximum percent of in vitro embryo germination (93.40 %) was observed on medium containing 2.5 mg l?1 BA. In order to select the most fertile seed parents which could be used in interspecific hybridization, 11 commercial rose cultivars (R. × hybrida) were employed in 36 reciprocal crosses. Three rose cultivars including ‘Golden Celebration’, ‘Tess of the d’Urbervilles’ and ‘Molineux’ were selected as the maternal parents. The selected seed parents were employed in crosses with one rose species from Gallicanae section [R. damascena (2n = 4x)] and four rose species form Caninae section [R. orientalis (2n = 5x), R. iberica (2n = 5x) R. canina (2n = 5x) and R. pulverulenta (2n = 6x)]. The highest percent of hip set and in vitro embryo germination were observed in crosses between tetraploid rose cultivars and R. damascena. In all of the crosses with R. canina, the percent of hip and seed set was 0 %. However, in the crosses between tetraploid rose cultivars and other pentaploid or hexaploid rose species from Caninae section both triploid and tetraploid offsprings were attained. Future morphological analysis of the progenies is necessary to show to what extent progenies demonstrate the characteristics of the pollen parents from the Caninae section. Nevertheless, progenies from interploidy hybridizations would be beneficial in future breeding programs in order to expand the relatively small gene pool of roses.  相似文献

Due to the drop in gas pressure and the reduction of the gas quota, some of boilers are forced to use Mazut. The emission of these pollutants results in environmental degradation and endangering human health. On the other hand, toxic contaminations in the air combine with atmospheric precipitation and cause acid rain, and thus their damaging effects increase and their effects are greenhouse gas and global warming. Reducing of air pollutions which are due to combustion of Mazut fuel is one of the essential requirements of the boilers to prevent the environmental damages. In order to reduce the hazardous SOx pollutant due to combustion of typical liquid fuel-Mazut in boilers, In this paper, the study of influence of wet FGD system on reducing the SOx caused by the combustion of Mazut fuel at Boiler has been carried out. This study performed both technical and economical. The efficiency of laboratory scale wet FGD system is studied in this work. A wet FGD system is designed and fabricated and behavior of flue gas in output duct is simulated. In this work, the experiments are performed without trays to measure the minimum efficiency of wet FGD on Sox reduction in boiler condition. Results indicate that using this system without the trays, SOx pollutants are reduced by 80.34%. Also, economic assessment the establishment of wet FGD show the additional cost of 0.674 cent per kilowatt of power that is appropriate amount in return for its environmental benefits.  相似文献

A suspension of barium sulfate in camel milk was used as a contrast medium to assess gastric anatomy and emptying in camels. Two doses were evaluated: 10 ml/Kg and 20 ml/Kg. The lower dose was found to be inadequate for stomach opacification. The higher dose results in sufficient distention and opacification. Contrast medium was administered by placing the solution into the mouth of the camel. The reticular groove reflex was not observed. Water sacs were filled immediately after barium administration and interval emptying and filling of these sacs occurred until the initiation of abomasal emptying. The abomasum did not begin to empty until approximately 5 hours after administration of the contrast medium; abomasal emptying was not complete until approximately 24 hours after contrast medium administration.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of a monocomponent protease and dietary inclusion of canola meal (CM) and poultry by-product meal (PBM) on growth performance, carcass characteristics and blood metabolites of turkeys fed on low crude protein (CP) diets from 28 to 55 d post hatch.

  2. Experimental treatments included control, maize–soybean meal diet including 258.3 g/kg CP; negative control 1 (NC1), maize–soybean meal diet with reduced CP (232.4 g/kg); NC2, control diet (CP, 258.3 g/kg) including CM (80 g/kg) and PBM (80 g/kg); NC3, maize–soybean meal diet with reduced CP (232.4 g/kg) including CM (80 g/kg) and PBM (80 g/kg). Also, the NC1 + P and NC3 + P diets were created by addition of protease enzyme (30 000 units/kg of diet) to the NC1 and NC3 diets, respectively.

  3. The NC3 group had lower body weight gain (BWG) compared to those fed on the control diet, and no improvement with enzyme addition (NC3 + P) was achieved. The protease addition to the NC1 diet (NC1 + P) improved BWG to the level of the control diet. The NC1 group had higher feed conversion ratio (FCR) compared to the control and NC3 + P, but protease addition to the NC1 diet improved FCR.

  4. Protease addition to the low CP diets resulted in higher nitrogen (N) retention than in the control and NC2 groups. Also, the NC1 + P and NC3 + P diets increased apparent ileal digestibility (AID) of CP compared to the control group.

  5. It was concluded that addition of CM (up to 80 g/kg) and PBM (up to 80 g/kg) to turkey diets had no negative effect on growth performance from 28 to 55 d of age. The NC1 + P group achieved the BWG of the control group which was partially due to increases in N retention and AID of CP, but the NC3 + P group failed to recover the growth losses. This difference implies that the efficacy of the protease may depend upon the protein source in the ration.

The trial was performed to investigate the effects of different concentrations of non‐phytate phosphorus (nPP) in the starter and grower (with phytase inclusion) periods on carcass characteristics, organ weight and weekly variations of growth performance in the grower period. Seven hundred and twenty‐day‐old male broiler chickens were randomly assigned to 12 treatments in a completely randomized design. Chickens received two dietary treatments (4.5 g/kg and 6 g/kg nPP) in the starter (0–21 days) and six experimental diets (4 g/kg, 3.1 g/kg, 2.3 g/kg and 2.3 g/kg + 1000 FTU/Kg of feed phytase, 1.5 g/kg, 1.5 g/kg nPP + 1000 FTU/Kg of feed phytase) in the grower period (22–42 days). Results showed that phytase inclusion in the second and third weeks of grower period could increase feed intake significantly. Also, decrease in the concentrations of nPP to 1.5 g/kg caused to decline body weight gain markedly. Moreover, there is a significant difference between 4.5 g/kg and 6 + 4 g/kg nPP (starter+grower) and 1.5 g/kg nPP. Phytase inclusion increased carcass yield and declined liver weight significantly. Dietary treatment of 4.5 + 1.5 g/kg nPP enhanced heart and liver weight markedly. It is concluded that starter diets with increased concentration of nPP (6 g/kg nPP) had no beneficial effects on growth performance in the starter and grower period in the total (0–42 days). Also, it is possible to decrease nPP concentration of grower diets to 1.5 and 2.3 g/kg with and without phytase inclusion respectively.  相似文献
