Flexion of the horse’s head and neck during dressage riding reduces the pharyngeal lumen with the risk of increased upper airway resistance and upper airway obstructions. According to the Fédération Equestre Internationale, hyperflexion is achieved through force, whereas the position low–deep–round is nonforced. The objectives of this study were to evaluate (1) applied rein tension and (2) dynamic structural disorders in the upper airways in dressage horses in different gaits and different head–neck positions (HNPs). Overground endoscopy (OGE) and rein tension were evaluated in 13 clinically healthy and high-performance Warmblood dressage horses while being ridden in a standardized program comprised of four different gaits (halt, walk, trot, and canter) and in four HNPs (unrestrained, competition frame, hyperflexion, and low–deep–round). All included horses were able to achieve the desired HNPs. The HNP low–deep–round showed significantly lower rein tension than competition frame (P < .001) and hyperflexion (P < .001). An association was found between dynamic structural disorders in the upper airway tract evaluated by OGE and head–neck flexion, but this association was not linked to the degree of flexion. The HNP hyperflexion was neither associated with greater rein tension nor severe dynamic structural disorders than the HNP competition frame. This study confirms that low–deep–round is a nonforced position, in contrast to hyperflexion. Further studies are needed to evaluate whether dynamic structural disorders are a result of flexion or if the degree of flexion has an impact. 相似文献

A major component rice varietv of Xiangwanxian 9 (a late Indica variety) with 13.1%, 15.6% and 18.3% of the moisture was respectively mixed with three ad-ditive varieties in 13% of moisture at ration of 7:3 for processing assorted rices. Head rice recovery of the treatments was determined 24 hours later. [目的]研究梅童鱼头的营养成分含量。[方法]以梅童鱼头为原料,分析其营养成分并综合评价其营养价值。[结果]梅童鱼头和鱼肉都含有多种维生素、矿物元素和氨基酸,梅童鱼头必需氨基酸含量占总氨基酸含量的37.73%,略低于梅童鱼肉的40.17%;梅童鱼头和鱼肉均含有多种不饱和脂肪酸,但梅童鱼头EPA和DHA的相对含量分别为7.56%和20.42%,较梅童鱼肉的5.81%和19.31%都高。梅童鱼头营养价值较高,可适当精制加工开发为新型的海洋食品。[结论]研究可为梅童鱼的综合利用与高值化开发提供理论依据,对提高海洋生物资源原料利用率、推动水产加工产业技术升级具有积极的作用。 相似文献

Fusarium head blight (FHB), caused by Fusarium graminearum and Fusarium culmorum, is a devastating disease in cereals. This study was undertaken to estimate progeny means and variances in each of five winter triticale and winter wheat crosses using unselected F2−derived lines in F4 or F5 generation bulked at harvest of the previous generation. Fifty (triticale) and 95 (wheat) progeny per cross were inoculated in two (triticale) or three (wheat) field environments. FHB rating was assessed on a whole-plot basis. Mean disease severities of the parents ranged from 2.3 to 6.4 in triticale and from 3.1 to 6.5 in wheat on a 1-to-9 scale (1 = symptomless, 9 = 100% infected). The midparent values generally resembled the means of their derived progeny. Significant (P < 0.01) genotypic variance was detected within each cross, but genotype × environment interaction and error variances were also high for both crops. Medium to high entry-mean heritabilities (0.6–0.8) underline the feasibility of selecting F2-derived bulks on a plot basis in several environments. Phenotypic correlation of FHB resistance between generation F2:4 and F2:5 was r = 0.87 (P < 0.01) tested across 150 wheat bulks at two locations. Our estimates of selection gain are encouraging for breeders to improve FHB resistance in triticale and wheat by recurrent selection within adapted materials. 相似文献

[目的]筛选出能较好标记玉米抗丝黑穗病基因的SSR多态性引物。[方法]以5个玉米品种为试材,从玉米黄化苗提取基因组DNA后,对提取DNA浓度和质量进行检测后,选用85对引物进行抗丝黑穗病基因的SSR扩增。[结果]16对引物具有较好的多态性,共扩增出45条多态性谱带,其片段大小为50~1300bp。其中,引物Bnlg1755扩增出多态性谱带最多。引物Bnlg1246、Bnlg1194和Bnlg125在抗病材料和感病材料中表现出明显差异。[结论]引物Bnlg1246、Bnlg1194和Bnlg125可作为分析玉米抗丝黑穗病基因SSR标记的引物。 相似文献

研究了春季日光温室条件下结球莴苣的光合特性。测定结果表明,结球莴苣光合速率以结球前期>莲座期>结球后期>幼苗期;中位叶>下位叶>上位叶;光合速率日变化呈单峰曲线,未表现午休现象。通过测定光合速率对光强及CO2浓度的响应,应用计算机模拟求得结球莴苣的光补偿点为38.38μmol·m-2·s-1、光饱和点851.1μmol·m-2·s-1,CO2的补偿点为56.67μL·L-1、CO2的饱和点为1376.6μL·L-1。 相似文献
