Super-absorbent polymers (SAPs) are widely used chemical water-saving materials, which play an active role in the accumulation of soil water and the improvement of soil structure. Little is known about their performance with repeated usage or about factors influencing their efficiency under alternate wetting and drying cycles. In this study, various concentrations of SAP (0, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3%) in soil following three continuous wetting and drying cycles (T1, T2 and T3), were studied to determine effects on soil structure stability and hydro-physical properties. The results indicated that the SAP improved soil water supply capacity under conditions of mild drought (T2) and sufficient irrigation (T3) at concentrations of 0.2 and 0.3%, but a reduction was observed under severe drought conditions (T1), which was negatively correlated with the SAP concentration. The physical adsorption of the SAP by soil and the chemical connection between the SAP and soil mineral colloids as Si-O-Si bonds, -OH bonds and different crystalline silica were the important factors that directly lead to the reduction of water retention capacities of the SAP with alternating wet and dry conditions. Compared with the control, the soil liquid phase ratios of the SAP treatments were increased by 8.8–202.7% in the T1 and T2 cycles, which would have led to a decrease in the soil air phase ratios. After repeated wetting and drying cycles, the SAP treatments increased the amount of >0.25 mm soil aggregates and the contents of water-stable macro-aggregate (R0.25), and decreased the amount of <0.053 mm soil aggregates, especially with higher concentrations of the SAP. Increases in mean weight diameter (MWD) and geometric mean diameter (GMD), and declines in fractal dimension (D) and unstable aggregates index (ELT) were all observed with the SAP treatments, which indicated an improvement in soil stability and structure. It was concluded that the distribution and stability of soil aggregates and soil water supply capacity was closely related to SAP concentration, soil moisture condition and the interaction between the SAP and soil particles.  相似文献

A survey was conducted in 10 districts of northern India. Significant deficiency of zinc was observed in soil, fodders and (cattle) serum samples. The animals showed typical signs of zinc deficiency, namely stiff gait, swelling of hocks and knees, subcutaneous fluid accumulation, rough coat, etc. of variable intensity. A clustered model therapeutic trial was conducted and zinc-deficient cattle were divided into three groups. Group A was provided with mineral mixture containing zinc sulphate. Group B was given mineral mixture without zinc sulphate and group C was given no mineral mixture. Significant improvement (p < 0.01) was observed in the haemoglobin (Hb), total white blood cells (WBC) and total erythrocyte count (TEC) levels at the 7th day of treatment in the animals of group A. Significant improvement in enzyme serum alkaline phosphatase (SAP) was observed in group A animals at the 7th day, while improvement in asparatate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and ceruloplasmin (Cp) was observed after 21 days of treatment. Regarding hormones, significant improvement was observed in thyroxine (T3) and triiodothyronine (T4), oestrogen and progesterone in group A animals within 14 days of treatment. The values of vitamin A showed a highly significant (p < 0.01) improvement within 7 days of treatment in group A animals and that of vitamin E on the 21 st day of treatment. The milk yield of lactating cattle and body weight of growing calves in group A showed highly significant (p < 0.01) increases at about 14 and 30 days, respectively. It is concluded that zinc sulphate supplementation is highly effective in alleviating zinc deficiency and improving various biochemical and production parameters in cattle. The clustered model treatment provides a better indicator of the most limiting element under field conditions where simultaneous deficiency of various minerals is prevalent.  相似文献

通过不同浓度保水剂种子包衣和保水剂大田示范试验,结果表明:在江河源区退化草地恢复与重建中应用高吸水树脂(SAP保水剂),对提高土壤含水量和保墒具有良好的效果;它不仅能促进幼苗生长发育,而且对植物地上部分的分蘖枝和根系分枝有明显的促进作用;同时对提高牧草个体生物量和产草量有明显的效果.试验结果还表明,使用1%~1.5%浓度的种子包衣处理效果最佳.  相似文献

[目的]基于近红外光谱技术,研究保水剂吸水倍率的快速测定新方法。[方法]通过近红外光谱技术结合偏最小二乘法,对9种聚丙烯酰胺型保水剂的吸水倍率进行研究.[结果]保水剂样品光谱数据采用一阶导数法预处理后,应用PLS法建模预测效果最佳。真值与预测值的决定系数达99.55%,模型预测准确率都在96%以上,可应用于生产实践。[结论]应用近红外光谱技术结合PLS法可以准确预测出保水剂的吸水倍率,是一种快速、无损、环保的新方法。  相似文献

为了解保水剂施入土壤后对土壤性质的影响,促进保水剂在抗旱节水中的合理应用。在河北农业大学实验基地,对青海“绿宝”公司提供的3种剂型保水剂施入土壤后的混剂土进行土壤水分常数、密度、pH值、土壤膨胀率和土壤硬度等性能测定。结果表明:保水剂能显著提高土壤中的土壤水分常数和土壤孔隙度,但混剂土的土壤密度减小;保水剂能明显提高土壤的膨胀性能65%-170%;保水剂加入土壤后对土壤的pH值影响较小;在土壤大量失水后,保水剂能明显降低土壤坚实度,对照土壤的硬度是混剂土硬度的5.2—32.9倍。  相似文献

通过盆栽试验,对保水剂在砂土、壤土和粘土上的保水效果进行了研究,结果表明:(1)对于土壤水吸力变化而言,沙土、壤土分别添加保水剂(SAP)5 g和10 g(即处理B5和B10)均低于不添加SAP(处理B0),但随着SAP用量的增加,水吸力并没有表现出减小的趋势,沙土均30.4 kPa,壤土均80 kPa;粘土在低水吸力范围内与砂土、壤土相似,30 kPa各处理效果不明显。(2)对于土壤含水量而言,沙土的B10处理在含水量上显著高于其它处理,然而综合考虑水吸力和含水量时,沙土在15 kPa水吸力范围内,B10处理虽供水性较强,但土壤持水性变差,B1处理持水性较好,供水性在作物可利用范围内;壤土的处理效果不如沙土,壤土在同一水吸力下,处理B5含水量始终处于较高水平,均高于19%,且在30 kPa的吸力范围有较高的持水性和供水性;粘土土壤水吸力与含水量二者的关系相对比较复杂,B5处理在不同吸力范围内出现相反的保水效果,其机理有待进一步研究。  相似文献

实验选取了国内外24种保水剂,测定了它们在不同pH值的情况下的吸水倍率,从而为在不同酸碱性土壤中选用合适的产品做出依据。实验结果表明:保水剂的吸水倍率随着pH值变化而发生变化。pH值在5.0左右的可选用保水剂品种有4、15;pH值5.5左右的有4、12;pH值6.0左右的有12、15、16、22;pH值6.5左右的有1、5、9、11、17、20;pH值7.0左右的有1、3、5、6、11、13、14、17、18、19、20、21、23;pH值7.5左右的有2、14、16、18、19、23、24;pH值8.0左右的有2、6、7、9、10、22、24;pH值8.5左右的有7、8、13;pH值9.0左右的有3、8、10、15、21。  相似文献

为保持与高效利用绥化地区有效降水而达到人工苜蓿草地稳产增产的目的,以保水剂不同用量(0、15、30kg.hm-2)研究其用量对紫花苜蓿比叶面积和光合特征的生理响应。结果表明:施用保水剂对紫花苜蓿比叶面积无显著影响,对叶绿素含量和光合特征有显著影响。保水剂施用量为15kg.hm-2时,保水剂能显著提高紫花苜蓿叶片的pn、gs、Tr和WUE,而保水剂施用量为30kg.hm-2时,保水剂显著降低了pn、gs和Tr,但没有影响WUE。紫花苜蓿pn与gs、pn与Tr的相关性以施用量30kg.hm-2处理最强,依次是15kg.hm-2和CK。pn与WUE以施用量15kg.hm-2处理最强,依次是CK和30kg.hm-2处理。因此,加强保水剂在苜蓿产业化生产中的应用性仍需研究。  相似文献
