| 摘 要： | 大学英语是农林高校为非语言类专业本科学生开设的最重要的公共基础课程之一。讨论农林高校大学英语教学这一问题时,既应考虑到大学英语本身的特点,又要兼顾这类行业院校特色学科自身发展的规律。近年来,各农林高校在师资队伍、教学大纲、教材教辅、教学方法、课程评价等方面开展了一些卓有成效的工作,并取得了较为显著的成绩。但教学改革中存在着许多不容回避的问题,这就要求各校在保持行业学科的特色和优势不变的前提下,在本校未来人才培养目标定位上对大学英语课程的培养目标进行新的调整,以便尽最大可能来提高我国农林高校大学英语整体教学水平。从我国农林高校大学英语教学特点、教学改革取得的成绩、存在的问题与现状以及改进大学英语教学的应对策略等四个方面进行探讨。
