玉米细胞质雄性不育的细胞学研究

摘    要:用光镜和扫描电镜对玉米 Mo17和77两组“同核异质系”细胞质雄性不育材料进行细胞学研究,得到 cms-T.C.S 三种不育类型败育方式的描述。发现 cms-T 和 cms-C 在不同的核背景上表现不同的败育途径,而 cms-S 在所研究的核背景上表现出较稳定一致的小孢子发生、败育行为。比较研究肯定,三种细胞质雄性不育材料小孢子败育的一般规

Abstract:Anthers of C.T.S-cytoplasmic male sterile corn plants with two nuclear back-grounds(77,Mo17)were studied cytologically by light and scanning electronmicrocopy.It was found that cms-T and cms-C with different genotypesshowed different abortion patterns,but cms-S manifested uniform microsporogenesisand abortion behavior irrespective of the nuclear backgrounds.It is concluded that thecommon tendency of microsporogenesis and abortion of cms-T.C.S is decided bycytoplasmic types.The cytological observation can be used as complemental criterionfor determining the types of cms.The change and deviation from this common tendencyare due to different nuclear backgrounds and/or environment factors.
