昆虫Arsenophonus属共生菌的研究进展

摘    要:Arsenophonus隶属于变形菌门(Proteobacteria)γ亚类肠杆菌科(Enterobacteriaceae),是昆虫、蜘蛛等体内常见共生细菌,还见于甜菜、草莓等植物。该菌在宿主昆虫体内既能垂直传播也能水平传播,在宿主昆虫体内多呈弥散性分布,少数分布于特化的菌胞体。一般通过16S rDNA,23S rDNA的特异序列或基于fbaA,ftzK和yaeT的多基因座系统进行分子鉴定。迄今为止,只有5种Arsenophonus属的细菌被鉴定,分别是Arsenophonus nasoniae,Arsenophonus arthropodicus,Arsenophonus triatominarum,Riesia pediculicola和Phlomobacter frageriae。Arsenophonus对宿主昆虫有杀雄作用,还可能与宿主昆虫的免疫、营养及寄主适应有关。同时,Arsenophonus还会诱发草莓和甜菜上的病害。目前,A. nasoniae和R. pediculicola已经完成了基因组的测序工作。文章主要对Arsenophonus的研究进行了综述,并对其未来的研究方向作了展望。

Abstract:The genus Arsenophonus (γ proteobacteria, Enterobacteriaceae) is an intracellular symbiotic bacteria, which are commonly found in insects and spiders as well as in plants (strawberry, sugarbeet, etc). Arsenophonus could be vertical or horizontal transmitted to the hosts. The distribution of most Arsenophonus is usually diffused in insect, and seldom could be found in bacteriocytes. The specific sequence of 16S rDNA and 23S rDNA or multilocus system based on three housekeeping genes fbaA, ftzK and yaeT, which were used for identifying Arsenophonus. To date, only five species of Arsenophonus were identified, named Arsenophonus nasoniae, Arsenophonus arthropodicus, Arsenophonus triatominarum, Riesia pediculicola and Phlomobacter frageriae respectively. Previous studies revealed Arsenophonus is male killing and maybe associated with the immunity, nutrition requirement and host adaptation of its insect hosts. Strawberry and sugar beet infected by Arsenophonus would have diseases. Until now, genome sequencing of A. nasoniae and R. pediculicola were conducted and the drafts had been reported. This paper reviewed recent research progress of Arsenophonus. Furthermore, future research directions were also discussed.
