Abstract: | Sheep of different production type are characterized by a specific spectrum of biochemical polymorphism of blood: at the transferrin locus of fine-wool breeds, there is a high concentration of phenotype AC (20.1%) and at that of semifine-wool breeds, phenotype AD (11.5%); there is a higher (twofold) concentration of phenotype BB of the arylesterase locus in coarse-wool than in fine-wool sheep. |
