摘    要:高职英语教学不仅是语言教育,也是文化教育.跨文化理解教育是多元文化教育背景下高职英语教学的必不可少的一部分.开展跨文化理解教育是跨文化交流的内在要求,也是基于应试教育下学生跨文化意识缺乏的现实和国际交流项目驱动之间张力的驱动.在高职公共英语教学中开展跨文化理解教育宜采取观念策略、开发策略、实施策略和互动策略等策略.

Abstract:Higher vocational practical English teaching is not only language education but also cultural education, and intercultural understanding education is definitely becoming an indispensable part of higher vocational practical English teaching under the background of multicuhural education. Intercultural understanding education is an inner requirement for cross-cultural communication, and it is also based on the driving force with tension between students' lacking intercultural consciousness under the background of examination-oriented education and the inherent demand of international communication and cooperation projects. When carrying out intercultural understanding education in college English teaching in higher vocational colleges, four suggested strategies are tactics of concept, development, practice and interaction.
