| Abstract: | The paper introduces the concept of urban forest,and its actual natural and social situation of Zhongshan City.It also elaborates historical progress,management institution of urban forestry,forest resource protection and reconstruction,forest fire prevention,urban afforestation system,wetland conservation and rehabilitation as well.The analysis on forest structure reveals that functional grade of non-commercial forest in Zhongshan is generally low,so urban forest needs to be emphasized and protected. |
