| Abstract: | 1. Transection at the level of the first cervical vertebra causes a marked loosening of feather‐skin connection, although less than that found in the living animal. This effect may be seen even when transection is carried out 2.lb5 min after bleeding. 2. Cuts performed in other levels had little or no effect. |
