Report on Breeding of the
New Fiber Flax Variety Heiya 12 |

| Abstract: | Heiya No.12 is a new flax variety which was approved by theCommittee of Examination and Approval of Crops Variety of Heilongjiang Province in February 2001.The straw, fiber and seed yield of Heiya 12 is 5140.4kg/ha、696.4kg/ha and 523.9 kg/ha,respectively 12.6%、20.4%、 and 10.2% over the check. Long fiber content is 16.8%, a percentage of 1.4 more than the check, Fibre strength is 259.4 N.It is an new flax variety with suppeior quality and high yield. |
