| 摘 要： | 文章提出了防治和管理森林病虫害的重要性及存在的问题，并对GIS技术及其应用发展进行了介绍。在此基础上设计了“基于GIS技术的森林病虫害防治管理信息系统”，并对系统结构和功能作了论述。此系统应用潜力巨大，为森林病虫害综合治理研究提供了新的途径和方法。
