| Abstract: | Biochemical characteristics of rabies glycoproteins have been studied in the present work. Glycoproteins were prepared from rabies virions grown on different tissue culture origin. Isoelectrofocusing of rabies glycoprotein was achieved. The protective activity of rabies glycoprotein was assayed on laboratory animals. Results of neutralising antibody response correlated to resistance to challenge are discussed. |
