| Abstract: | The research area is the 15-km region from Dong-daqiao station to Ta-qiaozi station in Aqikesu River which belongs to Ebinur Lake Wetland Nature Reserve groundwater samples were collected within test points of the Populus euphratica community of Sino-German cooperation projects along the banks of Aqikesu River.The growth of Populus euphratica was observed in 20m × 20m sample.Through measuring the indicators of selected groundwaters in the laboratory,such as the salinity and the major ion composition,the results proved that the depth and salinity of groundwater are suitable for Populus euphratica growth,but high levels of the Cl-content of groundwater inhibit the growth of Populus euphratica. |
