| Abstract: | Water spinach is one of the most populargreen vegetables and aquatic vegetables. It originated fromthe tropical area of china and southeast Asin.Firstly,thedritribution and productive utiization Of water spinachgermptalm are reviewed in this peper.Secondly,the re-asrches on the evolution retationship among differenttypes,cytolody, nutrjents (including dry matter,crudeprotein,soluble carbohydries, ash and Vc.), seed germi-nation, physiology of cultivation, breeding,propagationmaterial prodution, diseases and pests and application ofwater spinach are also summarized.The future researchsubjects are discussed briefly in the end of the paper. |
