| Abstract: | Remote sensing has made great progress not only in the spatial and spectral resolution but also in microwave area and airborne remote sensing since 1990s'. These have provided a good opportunity for the application of remote sensing in forestry. This paper mainly introduces the progress of remote sensing and discusses its prospect of application in forestry. |
