| Abstract: | This paper expounds the major models and characteristics in the management of agriculture and forestry and their profitability, and the existing problems in the compound agroforestry management in the reservoir area of the Sanxia (the Three Gorges) Project, recommends measures for a sustainable development in agroforestry, and argues that the popularization of practicable techniques of compound agroforestry management is the effective way to realize sustainable development of the reservoir area. |
