| Abstract: | The generation of RNAi transgenic mice made it possible to knock down gene expression at the whole organism level in mammalian species. At present, for larger livestock animals, the RNAi transgenic pigs, hit a shot in the arm for the application of RNAi technology to breed new disease-resistant transgenic pigs. This review described the special phenomenon of RNAi in mammalian cells as well as one of the most promising approaches to prevent viral escape, and gave the details of the research progress of RNAi technology in the disease-resistant transgenic pigs. |
