| Abstract: | There are abundant light and heat resources in Tianjin, the temperature in winter and the effective accumulated temperature are also higher than other places in North China. So, Tianjin belongs to the suitable region for the protected horticulture. The significance, current situation, problems, suggestions and methods of the greenhouse production in Tianjin are discussed, and then it is pointed out that an industrial belt and several accumulation regions of protected horticulture have been formed. At present, there are still many problems existing in the development of protected horticulture in Tianjin, such as the lack of fund, the serious shortage of greenhouse equipment and infrastructure, and not standardized land circulation, single product, low labor productivity and so on. Those all need to be solved by developing energy saving and emission reduction facilities, producing in scales, employing the brand strategy, and extending the non-pollution production methods and so on. |
