| Abstract: | The progresses of study on fertilization cytology in mollusca are reviewed in the paper, including nuclear stages of mature egg and ectogenesis, acrosomal reaction, fertilization membrane formation, polyspermous fertilization, the release of polarbodies and the formation of male and female pronucleus. The author also presents some prospect in the study and applications of this field. |
