| Abstract: | Bamboo forests named "The Second Forest" have many beneficial results: bamboo can be knitted to articles and crafts, bamboo shoot is a delicious food, etc. To further develop bamboo shoot production, problemes were raised such as: 1. distribution. Planting bamboos in wastehills has less efficiency than in land, but it can afforestate wastehills, conserve water and soil, etc. 2. species. Late-maturing species like Phyllostachys viridis and Phllostachys pubescens which has bamboo shoot every season in the year were proposed to develop. 3. scale management. It's better to develop scale management instead of small ones. 4. found. Grant-in-aid should be given to ones who plant more than 100 mu bamboos in wastehills. 5. technology. Bamboo techniciens should be trained and bring full play of bamboo society. 6. selling. Difficulties will be come with the development, so it should establish processing factory, study on storage, select superior species and adjust maket circulation. |
