| Abstract: | In order to research the application of geographic information system (GIS) in the evaluation of environment impacts, the component, type, function and application scopes of GIS are introduced. The predominance of application of GIS in the evaluation of environmental impacts is analyzed. Through case study, the concrete process of application of GIS in the water environment impacts evaluation is discussed. |
