摘    要:退牧还草工程是国家在北方草原面积较大的省区实施的重大生态项目,根据甘肃省退牧还草工程建设和管理的需要,选择ArcGIS、ArcSDE、MapObject、Access/Oracle、ERDAS Imagine Develop Kit、Visual C++/Delphi等专业开发工具,设计开发包括信息输入子系统、工程监测和评价子系统、空间运算与分析子系统、信息检索查询子系统和信息输出子系统的退牧还草工程项目管理与监测系统。客观全面地反映工程建设进展和质量,并评价工程对区域环境和社会经济的影响及其变化趋势,为畜牧业生产、生态建设规划提供信息服务和决策依据。
