摘    要:rpfC是甘蓝黑腐病菌中全局性调控胞外酶和胞外多糖合成以及致病性的一个基因簇中的一个基因。已从水稻白叶枯病菌中鉴定和克隆到一个在功能上能互补甘蓝黑腐病菌的rpfC突变体的基因,并通过构建突变体证实了这一基因在水稻白叶枯病菌致病性中起重要作用。本研究对水稻白叶枯病菌的这一基因的DNA序列进行了测定分析,结果表明,它与甘蓝黑腐病菌的rpfC基因具有高度的同源性。因此,将水稻白叶枯病菌的这一基因也称为rpfC基因

Abstract:rpfC is one of a cluster of genes which co-ordinately regulate the synthesis of extracellular enzymes and polysaccharide and pathogenicity in Xanthomonas campestris pv.campestris(Xcc).A rpfC homolog which could functionally complement a rpfC mutant of Xcc was identified and cloned from Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae(Xcc).It has been shown by mutation analysis that this gene plays an important role in the pathogenicity of Xoo.In this study the gene was characterised by DNA sequencing and the results showed that it shares extensive homology with the rpfC gene of Xcc.Therefore this gene of Xoo was named rpfC.
