| Abstract: | Several species ofOrius are under investigation in the UK, Europe and North America for the biological control of thrips, especially western flower thrips(Frankliniella occidentalis). The available species are briefly compared and findings on effectiveness and oviposition ofO. laevigatus are reported. |
