| Abstract: | The paper introduces the present situation of drainage and irrigation machinery as well as its importance to development of the agricultural economy in China. The effect of system of organization of agricultural production, the water resources, the natural wealth and calamity on the modernization of agriculture are analysed. The direction of developing the drainage and irrigation machinery is discussed. The measure that brings about a great advance in drainage and irrigation machinery technology is suggested. |
