Abstract: | Atresia coli, a rare congenital defect, was diagnosed in a foal via colonoscopy after N‐butylscopolammonium bromide was used to aid visualisation of the intestinal defect. Colonoscopy is a cost effective tool for diagnosing atresia of the terminal colon. N‐butylscopolammonium bromide aided colonoscopy has not been previously reported in horses. |
