Abstract:The law of absorption and distribution of mineral nutrient elements in leaves of Chinese cabbage were studied. The results indicated that the mineral nutrient element content in plant increased with plant growth, it increased rapidly 30 days after seedling coming out, the extent of increase decreased 70 days after seedling coming out. Product of 1000 kg fresh weight needed about N 1. 816 kg, P 0. 362 kg, K 2. 834 kg, Ca 1. 61 kg, Mg 0. 214 kg, Fe 20. 84 g, Zn 2. 21 g, Cu 0. 19g, B 1. 87g, Mn 1. 41g. The content of N and K in rossette leaves dropped with the increase of leaf age, while the content of Ca increased gradually with the increase of leaf age. The distribution of mineral nutrient elements was different in different leaf position, main leaf veins and soft leaves. The sampling period and location for leaf-analysis of Chinese cabbage were determined preliminarily according to the results.
