| Abstract: | The application history of shellac resin was reviewed and the present application status of this important raw material to the industries including food, medicine, daily used chemicals and dope or coating industry was expounded and the relevant research and application prosperity of shellac resin was analyzed. It was proposed that broadening the application domain and improving the properties of shellac resin would be the future development orientation for the shellac resin research and application. |
